“You did what?!!” A figure standing in the dark barked to the two men standing in front of him.

“We’re sorry boss. We were aiming for the guy when suddenly, the girl jumped in to protect him” One of them explained.

“You guys are so pathetic!! Pathetic!! Out of sight before I end your life!!” The person barked and the two of them scurried off.

“I need to achieve my plan to the fullest,,, and your existence isn’t needed in this plan… Alexander” The person muttered

“Alex?! Alex!!” Abbie called.

Alex opened his eyes and grimaced in pain as he stood back up.

“Alex…”

“Don’t worry about me, it just brushed through my arm. Nothing serious” Alex smiled as he held the bleeding part of his arm.

“Are you sure?” Abbie asked and he nodded.

He frowned when he remembered the shaman’s words again. He said he should protect her then why were they aiming for him?

Abbie is in his body and if they made to sh00t her then that means they were aiming for him.. But why??

Abbie tore a part of her shirt and began tying it round the wound. Alex smiled as he watched her do so..

Abbie finished and looked at him.

“Why are you smiling? You almost got shot!!” Abbie scolded.

“I just like seeing this look of worry on your face” Alex blurted out.

“Huh?”

“Nothing! Let’s go treat my wound brat!!” Alex said and began walking front

Abbie followed him with a raised brow..

<NEXT DAY≈L&C UNIVERSITY>

“Girls..” Zoey whined loudly

Alma and Alex turned to her..

“I’ve been trying everything possible but Rudy isn’t noticing me.. What do I do??” She whined.

“Have you tried confessing to him?” Alma raised a brow with her hands dipped into her baggy joggers.

“Yeah, you know you should be straight forward.. Before he begin picking interest on others” Alex said.

“Picking interest on others…” He repeated the last part in his mind.

“You think so?? I’ll try then..” Zoey said in firm determination.

Alex looked front and immediately smiled when he saw Abbie approaching them. His smile fell when Lucas blocked his way.

Abbie looked at him coldly and rolled her eyes..

“What do you want?” She asked.

“I’m here to tell you to stay away from Abbie please, we’re having a moment of misunderstanding and you constantly being with her makes it harder for her to forgive me” Lucas said

Abbie looked elsewhere and chuckled..

“Moment of misunderstanding you say?” He muttered and tilted her head to the corner.

“What if I don’t?” She said and Lucas’s brows raised.

“You’re engaged to Blaire, do you know what mom and dad will do when they find out you’re slowly falling for her? Oh wait, you’re not falling for her you’re trying to use her!” Lucas said.

“Use her?” Abbie’s eyes widened..

“Why acting surprised… I can clearly remember you saying you’ll be the one to pop her cherry and not me,, that’s why you played that gospel music to stop me from winning the bet! Don’t act innocent, we’re both brothers and we are the same!! You’re just going to use her and abandon her just the way you did to all the other girls.” Lucas said loudly.

The people passing stopped to watch, already wondering if both brothers were going to fight

Abbie stood on her spot, starring at Lucas with wide eyes..

It was true, everything he was saying makes so much sense to her.. Alex was really going to use her.

Her fists slowly began folding. Just when she thought that she was able to change him…

Abbie wouldn’t deny it, she began crushing on Alex. How he was there for her when Lucas broke her heart, how he’ll always cheer her up in his silly kind of way and their childish fights which contributed in helping her out too.

So he had an ulterior motive too… Just when she thought that maybe she’ll be the exception and that he can perhaps,,, like her

“Sh*t!” Alex cursed and advanced to them.

He pushed Lucas aside and glared at him before turning to Abbie.

“Let’s go” He grabbed her hand and made to leave with her but Lucas grabbed Alex’s free hand.

“Abbie, I’m sorry.. Please-”

What followed was a resounding slap on Lucas’s cheek that everyone gasped out in shock.

👥 I’m so f*cking confused right now

Lucas held his cheek and looked at Alex.

“Stay away from me because the next time you’ll show your face in front of. It won’t just be a slap you’ll be receiving” Alex warned and took Abbie away.

Lucas’s shoulder fell as he watched them leave. His fists slowly began folding.

Zoey and Alma exchanged looks..

“Abbie” Alex called when they got to a quiet alley.

“What he said, is it true? Were you trying to get into my pants?” Abbie asked.

“Abbie…”

“Answer me Alex”

Alex sighed and nodded.

“Yes it’s true, but-”

“That’s all what I wanted to know” She muttered and left.

“Abbie..” He called and ran his hands through his hair.

“F*ck!! I messed up big time!!”

<SWIMMING POOL>

Alma set the timer and immediately dived into the pool then began swimming really fast. She reached the other end of the room and then turned then began swimming back till she reached the starting point.

She stopped the timer and checked.

“45 seconds… Not bad” She smiled.

“Yeah, you’re right.. Not bad for an amateur” A voice said.

She began looking around till her eyes landed on Everett. He was in his swimming trunk too.

Everett jumped in the water and swum to her.

“What did you just say?” Alma asked.

“I said, it’s not bad for an amateur” He said, coming closer.

That’s when Alma noticed he has freckles, really looked handsome with it.

“Let’s make a small race then” She said

“Ready, set..go!”

They began swimming really fast. At the end it was Alma who won..

“Next time, know when to lower your ego” Alma said, pressing water off her short hair.

“What’s your name?” Everett asked.

“I don’t give my name to strangers” Alma said immediately.

Everett smirked.

“But you do to handsome and hot dudes like me” Everett said.

Alma laughed shortly.

“Handsome you say? The last time I saw something like you, I flushed it.” She muttered and began climbing the short stairs, out the pool.

She picked a towel on the bench and began drying her hair as she left to change.

Everett smirked as he watched her leave.

“Interesting..”

<LIBRARY>

Unlike the other days, Estella was smiling widely.. She was literally glowing.

The doctor already started her sister’s treatment and they gave her the assurance that she’ll be safe.

“I should thank him, that’s the least I could do” She thought.

She made to take a book from the shelf but someone else held the book with her. She looked at her left to see it was none other than Zoey..

“Estella?” Zoey called.

Estella looked around to make sure Blaire and Della wasn’t around before she replied.

“Hey” She smiled.

“You read books too? Thought you only know how to do makeup and act like slay queens” Zoey rolled her eye.

Estella chuckled and took the book.

“Need to make up for my low GPA. I’m not a smartass so I need to read daily” Estella said.

“Me too! I can even call myself a dullard” Zoey whined and Estella smiled..

“We can read together… That is, if you don’t mind” Estella said.

“Sure… My two friends are currently busy so it won’t hurt if I read with you” Zoey said.

They both went to sit and they began reading… It only took 10 minutes for them to fall asleep on their books.

Zoey began snoring…

Alex went and sat on the bench then brought out his phone and texted Abbie again

Ever since she left, he doesn’t know where she went and he has been trying to contact her but it’s futile.

He sent and sighed then ran his hands through his hair. He looked at she viewed it but just like the others, he didn’t reply.

“Hey Abbie!! What are you doing there,, you think it’s time to slack off??” Violet barked.

“Shut the f*ck off!!” Alex snapped and stood then left the hall, leaving Violet stunned and confused..

<LUCAS’S LOUNGE>

Lucas walked in the lounge and slammed the door angrily. He ran his hands through his hair as he began pacing to and fro in the room.

“I messed up! I messed up big time!!” He thought as he paced.

His phone began ringing again and he angrily set it to airplane mode.

Yes, he wouldn’t deny he had an ulterior motive when he began dating Abbie but as time went by he found himself caught in a love web with no way out.

Actually, Della said she’ll be coming over and he agreed with the aim of breaking up with her but things took a huge U turn and he didn’t know when he fell in for her $eduction.

As he was still in deep thoughts, the door opened and Della walked in..

“Babe, it’s not fair.. You’ve been ignoring me for weeks now. I should be angry with you because you cheated on me with that Korean thing” Della ranted.

“Della leave” Lucas said..

“Babe-”

“I said leave!! Leave Della,, it’s over between us!!” Lucas said and Della’s eyes widened.

Was she dreaming or he is ending more than two years relationship just because of that girl..

“No babe,, you can’t do that to me.. I love you, I’m sorry if I was angry at you.. Please forgive me!!” Della grabbed Lucas hand.

She pushed him off.

“Della leave while I’m still calm” Lucas growled..

Della shook her head and immediately began undressing herself. Lucas’s eyes widened as she did so

“Is it s*x that you want? I’ll give it to you” She muttered.

Lucas’s eyes traveled through her naked and without thinking twice he grabbed her neck, pinned her on the wall before claiming her lips in for a rough kiss.

Della moaned in the kiss as hand went down to unzip his jean. Lucas broke the kiss and pushed everything which was on the table.

It shattered on the ground

He made her lay on the table on her chest then roughly penetrated her from the back..

He began drilling her p**sy at a fast pace as if pouring his frustration in it..

Abbie sighed sadly as she got down the car. She began heading to the interior.

Alex’s parents called and they asked her to come over so she has no choice.

She walked in the living and met Blaire crying her eyes out while Lilian tried to console her. Blaire raised her head up and began crying even more

Abbie sighed, already knowing why they called her..

“Alex” Marshall stood up with a frown on his face.

“Can you tell us what happened between you two” He asked.

“Dad, he said many mean things about me.. He insulted me, he called me ugly and then there’s this girl in our school, he’s always hanging out with her.. I think they’re dating” Blaire cried.

“A girl? Alex, what has gotten into you!! You’re engaged for heaven’s sake!?” Lilian scolded.

Abbie just stayed quiet, she wasn’t even in the mood to talk..

“Don’t you have something to say?” Marshall asked but Abbie still remained quiet.

She looked at Blaire who was still shedding fake tears..

“What if she’s the one Alex likes?” Abbie thought and suddenly felt a pang of jealousy hit her..

“Since you don’t want to talk, you two will be going to a two weeks vacation at an island.. Alone! Maybe with that you’ll start getting to like her” Marshall said.

Blaire’s eyes immediately brightened..

“Alright” Abbie said to everyone surprise. She began heading upstairs.

“Thanks so much dad!! I’ll make everything possible for him to love me” Blaire said.

Lilian smiled and touched her hair..

“Need to buy cóndom… Lots of cóndom” Blaire thought, smiling naughtily

“Go and park your things, you two will be leaving tonight by 7pm in discretion” Marshall said.

Blaire nodded happily. She hugged Lilian and Marshall before leaving with her driver.

<7PM>

Alex got down his car in front of the Leighton mansion. He began rushing to the gate but stopped when he saw Blaire, standing beside Abbie.

She held a straight look on her face while Blaire kept smiling non stop.

“Enjoy your stay there okay?” Lilian said and Blaire nodded happily..

Abbie looked sideways to see Alex standing there..

“Excuse me..” She said and discreetly went to him.

“Abbie, we need to talk I’ll explain everything to you..” Alex said.

“It’s no use explain.. Even if you have a tangible excuse, it still won’t change anything.. We were enemies and I think it should just end there.”

“Besides you’re engaged to Blaire and I think me still being in your life will complicate things. Don’t worry, I’ll be leaving on a trip with Blaire and I’ll try my best to make things work out between you two so that once we switch back bodies, you’ll continue your life with her and… I’ll leave your life just the way you wanted it. My dad was right, it was a bad idea coming to America.” Abbie said..

“Abbie-”

The car hone was heard and Abbie sighed..

“Bye” She gave out a small smile before walking to the car

Alex stood there on his spot as he watched her enter the car. Blaire gave her a triumphant smile before getting in too.

And like that… The car drove off.
