Chapter 13
Harry’s POV
After witnessing the slaps scene between Florencia and Babe, I had to do the needful. Dragging that feisty lady out was just the necessary thing to do.

“Why the hell did you drag me out, I should have shown that b!tch the best I can do..I will rip her hair and drill her nose with my heels.” She gritted. I ignored her, driving towards the mansion. I parked the car just outside the gate, turning off the ignition.

“Get down Florencia” I ordered. There was this look of shock on her face, as her mouth dropped

“What do you mean, you can’t drop me here at the gate” she resorted, glaring at me

“Then just f**King keep your mouth shut. I have been trying to put up with this character of yours but you ain’t making it easy.” I yelled furiously before I could contain it. She look shocked
“So are you tryna take sides with that b!tch…didn’t you see what she did to me?”

“Heaven knows that you were the one at fault Florencia, stop trying to blame the innocent girl for nothing. You made her slip, I saw that if you don’t know okay…now the whole scene will be on Internet any moment from now. Is that what you want, huh, to be the talk of the Town, the country?” I exasperated, she rolled her eyes hissing loudly

“I won’t tolerate you talking to me this way Harry, else my dad will hear of this, same as yours” she snapped, pushing the door open as she step off the vehicle.

“F**k” I cussed, relaxing my head on the wheels, before zooming off. I drive directly back to the restaurant, parking the car at a safe distance. I intend on going back in to speak with Babe, I don’t know why I’m doing this, but I just need her to understand some things. Picking up a hood from the passenger seat, I change into it, wearing a sunshade.

I was yet to get off the vehicle when I saw her figure walking out of the building. I quickly turned on the ignition, driving towards where she stood, about hailing a cab.

“Get in” I muttered, but she walked away, hastily. I didn’t hesitate to follow her, I wish I hadn’t done that. She seems to be avoiding me, how I wish I could turn back the hands of time.

“Babe! Babe” I called only for her to take another direction, and bump into an oncoming motorcycle, sprawling on the ground with blood oozing out of her injury, splattered on the floor. She groaned weakly, moving her arms a little; I ran towards the scene grabbing her in my arms

“No!!Babe…look at me, damn it” I cussed, lifting her off the ground, rushing to my car.

“You have to stay with me Babe…you have to” I muttered with trembling voice, igniting the car as I zoomed off towards the hospital.

“Doctor…how is she?” Harry asked, getting on his feet as the doctor came out of Babes ward. He had this worried look on his face, holding his breath. The doctor, dressed in his white coat with a stethoscope hanging around his neck sighed.

“She lost a lot of blood, but thank goodness the baby is safe. She needs a blood transfusion which is necessary, her bruise will heal up in a matter of time…but she is yet to wake up.” He noted, Harry huffed, placing his hands on his waist.

“But we have a little problem which I think you should know about” He added, making Harry tensed

“What other problem?” He asked with eyes popped out. The doctor sighed

“She has a little fracture on her skull, which might have affected her brain a little. I can’t say for sure, but she might have a minor amnesia which will last for a short period of time. So she will need to be around her family members or people that are very close to her to help aid her recollect her past life.” He added; Harry ruffled his hair, looking bothered.

“Fine, about that…I will just give you her phone, you can get her mum’s or bestie’s number from it. But please, my identity shouldn’t be revealed at any cost. Just say that she was saved by a good Samaritan.
“That’s alright”
“Erm… can I see her” he asked “sure…but don’t wake her”

“I won’t…..and erm…I will like if you do one more thing for me”

“Oh my God, what happened to my daughter” Babe’s mum cried out as she answered her phone. She just received a call from the doctor, telling her about the accident Babe got involved in

“Ok…ok, I will be there now” she replied, picking up her purse as she dashed out of the house in haste. Helen was yet to arrive from school, so she will have to leave the key beneath the doormat.

Hailing a taxi, it drove her down to the hospital. She paid the driver, alighting the vehicle while making her way in. She was directed to the doctor’s office by the receptionist. He was coming out of the office in time

“Doctor….where is my daughter?” She asked breathlessly, making him form a squinting face
“Oh… you are ermm..”

“Babe’s mother….what happened to my daughter, where is she?” She rushed her words

“Oh calm down madam…your daughter is going to be fine….she was involved in an accident about an hour ago, thanks to a good Samaritan who brought her here.” The doctor replied; she nods continuously but her mind was not current with what he was telling her, all she wants is to see Babe

“Can you take me to her…I need to see my baby” she cried out
“You will madam, but you have to be quiet, your daughter is fine”

Babe could be seen lying on the bed, her face look a bit pale, with a IV drip connected to her hand, and a blood transfusion at the other.

The life machine connected to her beeped, making soft sounds in the room. The door was opened gently, and left ajar as she walked in, letting down the tears in her eyes on seeing her daughter’s state.

“Doc….what, what really happened?”

“According to her savior, she ran into a motorcycle, which crashes her down…” He paused for a second before speaking again. “Her baby is safe”

“Oh thank you Jesus” she exclaimed, making the cross sign.

“But there is one more thing I will like you to know” he explained her head fracture state and the possible amnesia it will cause which might likely be evitable.

“You just need to stay around her and make her remember her last life if incase it happens. I hope she wakes up soon” he noted. She nodded

“Thank you doc, thanks so much…and erm…who is the person that brought her….can I meet the fellow to show my appreciation” she asked

“Hmm, he left after settling the bills. He claimed to be in a haste to get something, he might drop by anytime….just be hopeful”

“I wish he does….I wonder what my daughter was thinking to have….hargh” she gasped. Did Babe plan to commit suicide? She thought within.

No, it can’t be so….Babe will never do that….she hopes her thoughts is true.
