Leanora’s throat ran dry and she felt like a volcano of jealousy explode in her head.

“Mhm…” Catalina did her worst in moaning in Frederick’s mouth.

She slammed her hand hard on the table then stood and angrily marched out of the restaurant. That’s when Catalina broke the kiss, she turned and watched her leave with a smile on her face.

She faced back Frederick who was staring at her with his lips slightly parted, a surprised look on his face.

“You look so hot when confused” She muttered and pulled him to the seat she was once sitting with Leanora.

The people in the restaurant couldn’t help but stare at them as they walked, some even took pictures of them.

“Why did you just kiss me out of the blues..” Frederick asked as they sat down.

“Just wanted to set that b*tch back to her place” Catalina said.

“Are you alright? I called you last night but you didn’t pick? Are you mad at me? Did I do something wrong?” Frederick asked, Catalina could he was slightly scared.

She smiled at that and held his hand.

“I’m fine, sorry I got you worried.. The thing was that I saw something that really disturbed me and I’m not sure about it but what is sure is that,, your mother didn’t díe of heart disease… She was killed by someone and for a reason I don’t know” Catalina said and Frederick’s eyes widened.

“What! What do you mean?” He exclaimed.

Catalina bit her lips and brought out the phone from the handbag she came with. She dropped the phone to him, Frederick took and began watching the video

His eyes widened…

“Mom.. Mom..”

Cora slowly opened her eyes and she blinked when her vision was blurry. Her vision became clearer and that’s where she realized that it was Franklin calling her.

“Son..” She called and slowly sat up.

She looked front to see Roman sitting in front of her. Thankfully he had his inhaler with him so Ellis quickly used it to revive him

Cora began glaring at Roman. Because of this fóol their plans were ruined… Ruined!!

“So what are we going to do now” She rubbed her temples.

“Now that our plans are ruined, we have to sort for plan B… We have to use someone Catarina cherishes the most to threaten her with it” Franklin said.

“Who?” Ellis asked.

Franklin smirked.

“Who else if not for her brother… Calvin” He muttered.

<CAFETERIA>

“You’re too confident..” Lloyd laughed when Calvin told him his life experiences.

“Just like me” He completed it in his mind. He was wearing casual wears and the cafeteria isn’t that popular so they were the only ones in there.

“Well yeah. Just because I’m poor doesn’t mean I’ll just let it pull me down” Calvin said and took a sip from his coffee then made bitter faces.

“This coffee is too bitter” He grimaced.

“I know right? Let’s order something better” Lloyd grimaced too

“Hot chocolate!!” They both said at the same time and Calvin chuckled.

“I don’t usually speak to strangers this freely but I don’t know why it’s different with you sir” Calvin smiled

Lloyd smiled too and sat properly on his seat..

“Tell me kiddo.. Earlier you told me you were raised by your mother right? How will you react if one day your father comes back to you?” Lloyd asked

“Well, I don’t know… At first when I found out I had a father,, I was eager to meet him but now I don’t know… If it’ll ruin his relationship with his wife and kids then I’d rather be this way” Calvin said.

“What if his wife díed years ago, leaving him with his only daughter. Will that still pose a problem?” Lloyd asked tactfully

“I.. Don’t know. Yunno what? Let’s stop talking about me. So tell me more about you sir” Calvin smiled

“What do you wanna know?” Lloyd muttered as the servers brought them the hot chocolate they ordered.

“First of all tell me more about your family. I’ve heard a lot of the vice president of Russia but didn’t really bother to know who he is and I’m so honored speaking to him now… So I want to know more about you” Calvin said.

“Well what can I say. I’m a widower, lost my wife in a car accident when my daughter was 14 and since then it’s been only me and her. I think she once came to Australia, think it’s like 3 years ago” Lloyd said..

“He lost his wife? That’s strange,, why did he ask me the same question..” Calvin wondered

“Calvin, I want to meet your mother. It’s really important but I doubt she’ll want to meet me if she knew who I am. Can you help me on that?” Lloyd said

“Why?”

“I promise you’ll find out if you help me..” Lloyd said

Calvin looked at him carefully. Is he to be trusted??

“Well.. Okay” He slowly agreed

The door to the restaurant opened and Aubrey walked in. She smiled when she sighted him, she walked to him..

“Hey Cal!” She smiled and came to him

A gasp escaped her lips when she saw the man Calvin was discussing with.

“G.. Good morning sir” She greeted politely.

“Sir… Meet my friend, Aubrey” Calvin presented Aubrey.

Aubrey frowned immediately… A friend? Just a friend! He refered to her as just a friend!!

“She’s really beautiful” Lloyd smiled and Aubrey forced a smile.

LATER

“Aubrey listen please..” Calvin sighed as he walked after her.

“Don’t Aubrey me!! A friend!! You confessed your feelings to me, we kissed and you call me just a friend?! Do I look like a joke to you!!” Aubrey exclaimed as she marched angrily.

Calvin sighed and grabbed her wrist then turned her to him..

“Aubrey, I’m sorry… I didn’t know what we really are so I just said we’re friends.. You know I love you right?” Calvin cupped her cheek.

Aubrey rolled her eyes and looked sideways.

“Friends don’t say that to each other” Aubrey said sarcastically.

“Aubrey,, c’mon” Calvin turned her face to him.

“Okay, fine.. You’re my heartbeat, my girl, my everything.. Okay? I love you” He said.

“I’ll think about it” Aubrey said with a straight face, trying to hard not to blush but her cheeks betrayed her.

Calvin leaned and kissed her lips slowly. Like magnet, her hands slowly went to his neck.

After few minutes, they broke the slow kiss and she finally smiled.

“I love you too” She said and pecked his lips.

Drake who was in his car watched them as they kissed. He folded his fists tightly as he stared at them.

He suddenly sighed and looked front.

“I lost her” He muttered and drove off…

<REYNOLDS EMPIRE>

Catalina smiled as she printed out the various documents she typed out. She really missed her work, her office and everything.

Once she was through, she walked in Frederick’s office. He was focused on his laptop. The first two buttons of his shirt was left loose and he loosened his tie, he looked so hot like that

Catalina couldn’t help stare at him that she forgot what she came to do.

“I’m all yours.. I won’t run away, stop starring like I’ll run away.” Frederick said without looking at her, a smirk on his lips.

She smiled too. She was glad that he didn’t take what he told her about his mother too harshly.

“I’m through with the files you asked me to work on” Catalina said and walked to him while Frederick turned his swivel chair to her.

She made to hand him the files but but Frederick grabbed her hand and pulled her to him, she landed on his thigh.

He wrapped his arms round her tiny waist and then rested his head on her chest..

“What are you doing! We have a load of work waiting for us remember?” Catalina said..

“Give me just few minutes.. I find peace and solace having you in my arms” Frederick muttered and closed his eyes.

Catalina smiled and brought her hand to his hair, rubbing it gently.

It took few minutes for him to fall asleep like that on her chest. She smiled as she stared at his face, she rubbed his cheek and kissed his hair.

“I love you” She muttered.

<NELSON’S PLACE>

Alicia swallowed hard as he stared at what Nelson cooked. He opted to cook and now she regretted why she didn’t reject his offer.

The food looked like a decayed vomit of a dog. She squeezed her face as she stared at it then she looked at Nelson’s face who had a bright smile on his face

“Umm… A simple glass of water will do” She said.

“Just say I’m a bad cook” Nelson laughed and sat next to her.

“So you actually know and you wanted me to eat this?” Alicia said and Nelson just chuckled.

“I’m glad to see you’re now opening up more to me” Nelson said and tugged a piece of her hair behind her hair.

Alicia stared at him and sighed sadly, looking down.. She bit her lips and looked up, wanting to just come clean to him.

A gasp escaped her lips when she saw his face got closer to hers. He was smirking as he brought his face closer.

“What are you doing!!” She asked and gulped down as her gaze traveled to his lips

“Calvin and Aubrey are now dating” He muttered, coming closer to her.

“So..?” Alicia muttered nervously.

Her back landed on the couch and Nelson got on top of her.

“Don’t you think it’s time for us to join the crew” He said, bringing his face closer to her.

“Don’t you dare come closer… I’ll- I’ll punch you,, I’ll-”

Her eyes widened when Nelson’s lips landed on hers. She made to push him off but he pinned her hands down.

Alicia slowly closed her eyes and gave in to the kiss. Her hands went to his hair as they kissed slowly.

Suddenly she began crying and Nelson quickly broke the kiss to look at her..

“What.. What is wrong? I’m sorry, I,, I just lost it and-

“I have a brain tumor Nelson” She dropped the bombshell

Nelson’s eyes widened..

<NIGHT≈REYNOLDS MANSION>

Frederick walked out of the bathroom with a towel round his waist, water dripping from his body. He looked at himself on the mirror and ran his hands through his hair.

His phone began ringing and he eagerly picked it, thinking it’s Catalina but to his dismay it was an unknown number.

“Hello?” He picked with a raised brow.

“Fred… It’s been so long, I missed hearing your voice” A feminine voice said on the phone.

Frederick’s mood crumpled down to zero when he heard the voice, he could recognize this voice anywhere

“Who are you?” He muttered.

“What do you mean? Don’t you longer have my number?” Tatiana spoke on the phone.

“Well I don’t keep trash in my contact, never you dare call this number ever again!!” Frederick spatted and hung up. He immediately blocked her.

Frederick angrily ran his hands through his hair

Catalina could be seen walking down the street while pressing her phone. They ran out of food stock so she was going to buy one

A car suddenly halted beside and before she could take one more step, two men came out of the car and bundled her in the car then began driving off.

“Let me go!! Who are you!! What do you want!” She shouted, struggling.

“You better shut up or else I’ll blow up your brain!” One of the men pointed a gun on her head and she immediately kept quiet.

They drove her to an old house before getting down.

“Move!!” They pushed her and she began walking.

They walked in the old house to see four shadows. They were sitting in the dark side of the room so she couldn’t see their face.

“Who are you guys! What do want from me!” She asked fearfully.

“Quit playing dumb! We know you already found out about the video” Franklin spoke.

“So it was true huh? Roman you were among! Come out here, no need to hide!!” Catalina shouted, tears coming out of her eyes.

Roman chuckled and came out in the light. She saw his face.

“You monster! How dare you!” She made to pounce on him but the men who brought her in held her back.

“Calm down pretty, I can rape you and do even more worst than it right here but we have a better proposition” Roman caressed her cheek as she glared at him with teary eyes.

“Take this… You’ll drop this magic liquid into Frederick’s coffee each day till he dies” Roman said and her eyes widened

“Are you crazy!! What makes you think I’ll do that!!” Catalina shouted

“She’s proving stubborn huh?” Roman chuckled.

“You don’t get the situation huh? We’re not asking you, we’re telling you..” Franklin said, walking front till his face came to view

Catalina immediately froze.

“Franklin” She stuttered as her throat ran dry.

It’s him! The first rapist.. Now he understands why they had same pendant

Catalina shook her head, refusing to believe what she’s seeing.

“Are you surprised?.” Franklin smiled and then grabbed her hair harshly.

“Argh!!” She winced loudly.

“Now you’ll do what we say, or else… Your brother gets it. There’s one of our men planted right outside your house. Just one call for me and your house goes…Ka-boom!” Franklin said and began laughing

Tears escaped out of her eyes as she stared at Franklin.

“Don’t do anything to my family… Please” She cried.

“Then do what we say.. Huh?” Franklin cupped her cheek.

Catalina stared at him with tears in her eyes. She swallowed nothing as she felt her heart already breaking..

“I’ll do it.. I’ll do whatever you ask of me, please don’t harm my family” She muttered slowly

Franklin let out a mischievous smirk.
