~REYES RESIDENCE

Ryan was in his room smoking as usual and looking into space letting the smoke blur his sight.

He was too engrossed In his thought that he didn’t know when someone entered.

“Good evening Master Ryan.” The voice brought him back to reality.

“Get out!” He said without spearing a glance at the speaker.

“Easy there boy, I’m your new maid.” Immediately Ryan heard that he looked at the aged woman before him who looks like she was in her mid-fifties and he frowned.

“You are fired so please can you lend me a favor by getting out of my sight?!” He snapped at her and she flinched.

“Your mum has told me a lot about you, now I can see it myself. Can you please corporate with me?” She asked

“I said you are fired, are you deaf?” He asked

“You can’t fire me because you aren’t the one that hired me.” She said firmly.

He angrily left the room and left the house to cool his head.

Mrs Ryes got down from her car after arriving home and she went straight inside looking tired, ignoring the greetings from the workers.

Laila came over bowing slightly.

“Welcome ma’am.” Mrs. Ryes nodded.

“Where’s my son?” She asked looking in the direction of Ryan’s room

“He’s not home presently, he left 2 hours ago,” Laila replied.

“Why did he leave home? Did any woman come?” She asked.

“Yes ma’am but she left already,” Laila replied

“She needs to be fired, she can’t even make Ryan stay, she can’t even control him.” She said agitatedly.

“Ma’am why don’t you try to employ someone the same age as he, maybe she will be able to change it and they will communicate more,” Laila suggested.

“Oh my you are right, never thought of that since he doesn’t have someone to talk to at home,I will get him someone he can communicate with.” She finalized.

NEXT DAY 8:00 AM
Skylar got up from where she slept last night, she actually slept outside her house since it was locked.

She took her phone and checked the time

“f**k! Am late for school,I don’t think I can go anymore.” She muttered sadly

She took a last look at get parents house and she walked away with nowhere in mind.

Getting so tired, Skylar decided to rest a little and she settled in front of a big store.

Not long after, a woman came out of the store with two bodyguards at her back.

“She must be filthy rich,” Skylar said studying the woman who looks familiar and their eyes met,she whispered something to one of her bodyguards and he came towards Skylar who was now scared.

“Boss wants to talk to you.” The husky voice said and Skylar wondered but she still follow the man leaving behind her things.

” Good morning ma’am.” She greeted

” What’s your name and how old are you?” The woman asked immediately.

” Am Skylar Greene and am 18.” Skylar replied and the woman smiled slightly

“I knew it! Aren’t you the girl whose parents died 5 years ago?” The woman asked and she nodded slowly.

” I knew it! When I saw you I knew I know you from. Somewhere. Am Mrs Ryes, your mum’s friend before she died, May her soul rest in peace..” Skylar confusion then because clear, she has heard that name from her mum before and she has visited thrice.

” Oh Mrs Ryes, I think I know you now.”

” I know I have wronged your mother,I should have been checking on you and your brother since they died.” She said guiltily.

“Too bad but my brother is dead.”

” Poor you, you must have gone through a lot, no wonder you look unkempt.” She said.

” Can you help me, I need a personal maid for my son and don’t worry I will be paying you.” Mrs Ryes said but Skylar was still processing what she just said.

” Will that means I will be living in your house?” Skylar asked since she knows she doesn’t have anywhere to stay and this is an opportunity.

“Sure why not?” Mrs. Ryes replied

“Then I accept your proposal.” Mrs. Ryes pulled her into a hug

“This was easier than I thought.”

Ryan came back from school looking cold as usual, he went into his room and he was surprised to meet a strange girl dressing his bed

“Who are you?” He asked giving her a dangerous look and Skylar became uneasy, she looked up and was stunned to see an attractive guy in front of her, she must admit that he was the most handsome guy she has very seen, from his cute eyes to his perfect pointed nose and then his dreamy lips.

” Stop checking me out and answer my question.” He said and Skylar flinched.

“Actually… Am your new personal maid.”

“My mum is so stubborn,” Ryan muttered as he ran his hands through his hair.

“Just get out and never come back!” He yelled.
