Isla became uncomfortable and stopped in her tracks while She fixed her gaze on Ryan who was entering the class.

“I hope this won’t be hard.” She bit her lips.

Tristan who just finished talking to Blair was walking back to Class when he saw her.

“Hmm new girl, she seems lost.” He said and went to meet her.

“Hi am Tristan and I guess you are new.” Isla nodded.

She blinked her eyes multiple times as she glare at the angel in front of her.

“Yeah am new, Isla by name and I must say you are so handsome.” She said boldly.

Tristan smiled.

“Thanks, final year student right? I mean twelfth grade.” He added and she nodded while he led her.

🗣Am I just noticing that Tristan is hot

They got to class and everyone stared at them.

🗣 Ditched Blair already?

🗣 What do you think? He didn’t even attend her birthday

Tristan rolled his eyes leading Isla to his seat since he sits alone though Blair sits with him sometimes.

Skylar, Ella and Isabel are busy solving some questions to even look up though both Ella and Isabel keep stealing glances at Zion every second.

“I’m sure your necks will fall off if you keep looking back,” Skylar stated.

“I can’t help it, I’m madly in love with him,” Ella said dreamily and Isabel slightly frowned before smiling.

“But he doesn’t like you back, just give up,” Isabel said Ella sighed sadly.

“Come on, he will come around,” Skylar said.

” I actually need to tell you, guys, something,I shouldn’t hide it anymore,” Ella whispered.

“What?” Skylar and Isabel chorused.

“I really don’t want you to judge me.”

“Of course not,” Skylar said.

“My dad died when I was 15 leaving just me and my mum in this wicked world as if that wasn’t enough, all our money mysteriously disappeared, everything. I’m still surprised today, my mum tried to cater for me but again she was shot in her leg making her go crippled. She couldn’t work anymore and we had to survive, I was already 17 by that time. I tried to look for a job but I wasn’t given then I turned 18 last two months.” Ella paused fighting the urge to cry while Skylar comforted her.

“We all have a story, you don’t need to say it anymore if it gonna make you cry,” Skylar said.

“I have to, at least you should know the kind of friend you are moving with.”

“I then got introduced into this business, I sleep with men for money and they pay me a large amount and with that, I’ve been surviving with my mum, so please don’t judge me in any way,” Ella said solemnly.

“Of course not, who am I to judge you, ain’t perfect,” Skylar said.

“Wow.” That was all Isabel could say.

“You clearly have a good reason for it but it’s not really the right thing for you to do,” Skylar said.

“I know and I stopped already last night, trying to get a job as soon as possible.” She said.

“Cool, and I will try to help you in finding,” Skylar reassured not sure if she should tell them her own situation.

Isabel was silent.

Ryan entered the class and it became rowdy.

Ryan smiled cutely before going to his seat, Brooklyn became wet just looking at him.

His seat partner is actually Aaron but because they are not on talking terms, he sits alone.

He brought out an ice cream cone and he stood up from his seat going towards Skylar’s.

🗣Woah.. where is he taking that to?

🗣I need that badly Ryan

He got to Skylar’s seat and she looked surprised.

“I got you one.” He said offering her the ice cream cone and she collected it shyly before he went back to his seat.

🗣 What just happened?

🗣Are they close?

🗣 What do you think? They came together on Blair’s birthday party

🗣I wish am Skylar right now

Brooklyn glared at Skylar hatefully.

‘I hope it’s not what I’m thinking?’ she said inwardly

The bell rang and almost immediately a teacher came in.

“Good morning Mrs. Del.” They greeted.

“How was your weekend?” She asked

“It was good?” Blair chirped then she kept her gave back at Isla sitting beside Tristan and she frowned.

“Very good, on Thursday I told you I’m going to pair you into groups for your project. Is that not so?” Mrs Del asked.

“It is Mrs. Del.” They replied.

“Very good, so I’m going to start now by calling your name, remember it’s 3 in a group.” She reminded.

Her eyes set on Isla.

“That reminds me, we have a new student. Can you please stand up and introduce yourself.” She said.

Isla stood up nervously, fiddling with her fingers.

“My name is Isla Greene.” She said quietly and Skylar raised her brows.

“Oh, we have another Greene in this class, you can sit.” Mrs Del said and sad down I’m mediately.

Mrs Del picked up a paper from her desk adjusting her glasses as she read.

“Evans, Aaron and Anne, you are in the same group.” She said and the three looked at their selves.

“Zion, Ella and Isabel, same group.” She said and both Ella and Isabel smiled.

“Keep quiet! Blair, Tristan and Isla.”

Tristan and Isla smiled at each other.

Mrs. Del kept calling their names.

“Brooklyn, Ryan and Skylar.” She ended with the names.

🗣I wish I’m in his group

Brooklyn was just smiling at the thought of being in Ryan’s group while Ryan was frowning a little.

“Skylar you are lucky,” Ella said.

“Ryan is really brilliant but I don’t think that dummy Brooklyn knows anything,” Isabel said and they laughed quietly.

“I want each group to pick a topic of their own to work on and it must be submitted unfailingly on Friday. The best write-up will be rewarded.” Mrs Del concluded and they nodded.

“Now let’s get to business.”

Class ended already for the day, and everyone is seen with their partners.

Isabel immediately went to meet Zion in his seat.

“Zion so how are we going to meet for the project.”

“Let’s meet at my house and come up with suggestions.” He said.

“Sure, Zion you won’t believe this.”

“What?” He asked.

“Ella is actually a prostitute, she sleeps with men for money, imagine that?” Isabel said rolling her eyes.

“Why telling me? I thought she was your friend.” He queried.

“I…I just felt you should know.” She felt uneasy.

“You shouldn’t go about telling people someone’s secret, I bet she trusted you to tell you that and you are telling me, you obviously betrayed her.” He said

“I’m sorry.” She apologized.

“It’s okay, but I knew that before you told me,” he said and left.

Ella came to meet her.

“Where did he say we should meet?” Ella asked.

“He said we shouldn’t come, he will be busy,” Isabel said and left.

Skylar packed her books into her bag and zipped them before standing up to go.

Ryan came over.

“Let’s go home together, your driver won’t make it.” He said and Skylar nodded.

Isla left Tristan’s side and walked over to where Ryan is.

“Hey your pen, it fell.” She said pointing it at him.

“That’s not my pen.”

“Oh thought it was yours, anyways nice meeting you.” She stretched her hands for a shake and he accepted.

“Your arm is cool and soft.” She cooed

Skylar looked at her and Isla returned the glare before she smiled.

“Hi Skylar.”

“Isla…cute.”

Ella came over.

” Skylar, I’m off already.” She announced, she waved at Isla and Left.

“Ryan we will see.” She said and went back to Tristan.

“What was time?”

“I don’t know but I like her,” Skylar said.
