Rhea POV
~CITY HOSPITAL

“Please I don’t want you guys to force her to remember anything but instead let her regain her memory naturally and I believe it won’t take long.” The doctor concluded and I nodded.

“Please when will she be discharged?” I asked wiping tears from my eyes.

“When she shows she’s okay, excuse me.” The doctor said and left.

“Hey don’t overthink it, she will be okay and don’t worry I have informed Mum about this and she says when she’s okay, we should move her to our house,” Mikel said and I only nodded and looked at my sleeping mum.

Mira has left already since she has to go to school and Rox followed her so it’s just Mikel and I here.

My phone rang, it was Derek’s call.

“Excuse me,” I said and went outside to pick it.

📱Hey sunshine, where are you?

📱Derek, it’s a long story

📱Mind telling me?

I shouldn’t keep secrets from him, right?

📱 It’s my mum, she got herself hurt, and to cut a long story short, she has lost her memories.

📱Oh sh*t…it must have been hard for you, I wish I’m there with you

📱 It’s not a problem, are you at school?

📱Yes and I actually called you to start coming ASAP

📱 What happened?

📱Mrs Dickson just announced that we are having a Mathematics test and if anybody misses it, he or she will be punished in a way they can never imagine and you know what that means

📱Oh no, okay I will try to be there

And with that, the line went dead, gosh I need to inform Mikel about that, I can’t afford to miss it but who will check on my mum?

I went back into the ward and was surprised to see Mikel just as I left him.

“Rhea I think we need to go to school ASAP, we have a test coming up in the next 30 minutes and you know how Mrs. Dickson is.” He said.

“How do you we are having a test?”

“School platform.” He waved his phone at me and I nodded, am not there anywhere.

“And don’t worry about your mum,I will just call someone over here to look after her.” He said like he read my mind and I smiled.

“Now let’s go freshen up at home and go to school.” I kissed my mum’s forehead and we left.

We just finished writing our test and I must say it was easy at all.

We started immediately I and Mikel entered the class, just in time.

What a pity Roland missed it, I wonder why he isn’t at school.

I brought out my phone to text Derek to meet me at the rooftop since we are keeping our relationship private.

I looked at and he nodded meaning he got my message.

“Hey Girlie,I heard what happened to your mum from Mikel, how is she faring now?” Kenzie asked me.

“Very well thank you 8, you better work out things with Mikel fast,” I said understanding why I said that.

“Sure but am just waiting for him to ask me out,I can’t wait.” She almost shouted.

“Can you come over to Mrs. Salvador’s house on Saturday, please?” I said.

“Really?” She beamed and I nodded.

“Why not?”

“Good, excuse me,” I said as I made my way to the Rooftop.

Now finally,I just hope Mrs Salvador will be around on Saturday to see Kenzie maybe she will like her for her son.

I then decided to visit the ladies when I was stopped by Ciara.

“You really don’t listen, don’t you?” She said.

“I said you should stay away from Derek but you are really stubborn.” She added and I rolled my eyes.

“Just leave me alone.” I protested.

“Or what? Now you are sending each other text messages, you think I didn’t see you guys?”

“What if we are?” I said irritatedly.

“I heard you are getting married to Mikel.” She said and laughed hysterically leaving me shocked.

Nobody knows except Mikel and I and maybe Derek since am planning to tell him.

“Don’t be Shocked, Mrs Salvador is a friend to my mom and I heard their discussion and don’t worry I will make sure you get married to him.” She said and left.

Ava POV
~JUNIOR BLOCK
“Hey, Derek.” I called out and he turned to me.

“What do you want?”

“Can’t I call my own brother?”

“Indeed, don’t call me that until you change your ways.”He said and walked away and I scoffed.

A girl bumped into me and I slapped her without hesitation.

“Watch where you are going?” She pleaded silently and I hissed.
