UNKNOWN RESIDENCE

“Are you serious mum?” Iris asked with happiness in her tone, her eyes blinking repeatedly.

“Yes my daughter but it’s a long story, I promise to tell everything to you when I talk to your father but I want you to keep this in mind, you have a brother back in California,” I said and she jumped up happily.

“Mum I can’t wait to reconcile with them all.” Same here darling.

Now I need to look for the jotter I wrote my husband’s number in, I wrote it time for a time like this that I will have to show myself, I had to escape from people who are running after my life.

Derek POV
“Derek, what are you saying? We just got back.” She said.

“I don’t fuckin care, how can you hurt your fellow human being.”

“Excuse me she’s not human but an animal.” She laughed.

“At least she has a good and pure heart unlike yours,” I said and she frowned.

“And if we look at this very well, you are the animal because you are asking as one,” I added and her frown increased.

“Derek you are hurting me, why are you acting like this to me, let’s just come back together,I will change.”

“I will be a big fool if I should come back to you, I regretted ever knowing you, b***h. Don’t think I don’t know about you and Matt, swears you are really shameful, you disgust me.” I spat out and left.

Ciara POV
What just happened here?
Am I dreaming?

I let out all my tears and sob quietly, I run through my hair roughly, Derek said he regretted ever knowing me!

I scattered my room in anger, breaking things and I got hurt in the process but who cares!

Rhea I really want to destroy you, I won’t ask anybody for help not even my mum!
I folded my fists angrily.

Rhea POV
After being cleaned up by the female students,I went into the changing room to pick a dress since my uniform is already ruined.

Kenzie entered.

“Rhea am so sorry for what happened today, I couldn’t even do anything.” She said not looking at me.

“Oh Kenzie, am not angry, there was nothing you could have done in that situation and thank God you didn’t make an attempt to help me if not Ciara won’t spare you.”

“Thanks for understanding, how are you now?”

“Am not hurt, just dirty and maybe some injuries from the stones.”

“Sorry anyway, Mikel came to my hostel and kissed me just at the doorstep, it was unexpected and overwhelming. He said when you dared him, he wanted to kiss him but he was scared so he ended up kissing you.” She said and I nodded shyly.

“Am really happy for you, getting your kiss from your crush,” I said and she blushed.

“I just can’t wait for him to ask me out.” She beamed.

“I will go first, take care.” She said and left and I wore the dress quickly.

I was just about to go out when I bumped into Derek.

“There you are been looking for you. How are you feeling now?” He asked me, he’s just too cute.

“Very much okay, trust me.” I winked and he looked at me more closely and I became uneasy.

“I cleared Ciara already, we broke up finally and nothing is going to bring me back to her.” He said and I smiled secretly.

“You are cute.” He said suddenly.

“Oh, thanks.” I bit my lips and immediately he stared at it with desires.

“Rhea, please be my girlfriend.” He said looking straight into my eyes and I flinched.

“Really?” This is so complicated.

“Just say yes.” He pouted like a baby and I smiled.

“Sure yes.” He hugged me immediately.

“Thank you heartbeat.” He kissed my neck and I froze, he looked up to stare at me and he laughed.

“Why did you go stiff?”

“It’s nothing, it’s just new to me.”

“Understood, can we kiss now?”

“Umm…su..re.” I muttered.

He caged me toward the walls, he then slammed his lips on mine slowly, driving his tongue into mine, he tastes good.

UNKNOWN RESIDENCE

I copied the number into my phone and I dialled it nervously, it rang but it wasn’t answered. I guess he’s busy.

I made to go out of the room when he called back, thank God.

I picked up the call immediately.

“Hello, I saw your missed calls, may I know who is this?” I heard his thick voice on the other end and a tear dropped from my eyes, am just getting to hear my husband’s voice after so many years.

“Hello…” He called and I remembered I haven’t answered him.

“Anthony, this is Eliza speaking. Your wife.” I added when I didn’t hear him answer.

“Are you playing with me, my wife is dead.” He said with disbelief.

“Darling, am not dead, am really the one talking, it’s a long story. Please can you come over to my house, I stay at Gabriel’s Street in NEW YORK”

“You are in New York?”

“Yes, please come.”

“Am coming right away.”

I ended the call, finally.

Rhea POV
I got home happily thinking about Derek and I moments.

I entered and I was surprised to see Mikel, this is also his house anyway. I saw Mrs. Salvador sitting patiently.

What’s going on here? Even Mikel is feeling sad.

“Rhea my darling, am so proud of you. You finally won my son over. I saw both of you kissing clips online.” She said and I swallowed hard, I looked at Mikel but he looked away.

I was about to tell her that it was a dare but I was interrupted.

“I have come to a conclusion, you and Mikel are going to get married right after you finish school.”
