“You’re hired!!!” The word rang in Sapphire brain. She squealed and jumped happily before continue walking along the streets.

Well since places weren’t that dark, she decided to go back home on foot.

“Oh, and I have a dinner tonight with Louis” She remembered.

A smile formed on her lips as she thought of Louis. He’s such a gentleman and he’s cute too.

Sapphire shook her head in order to get rid of those thoughts.

But how can you resist such killer looks He subconscious mind Said to her.

“No, I’m sure he’s married or something like that” Sapphire defended.

Come on, stop being so dump Sapphire. It’s obvious he’s into you Her mind fired back.

That made Sapphire to begin thinking. Is he really into her??

She shrugged all those thoughts away and knocked on the door. Rudy came and opened up the door for her to walk in.

“Good evening big bro” She said and pecked his cheek before walking in the house.

“Mom, I’m home!! Let’s Party tonight, I got a job!!” Sapphire screamed.

“Wow, so soon. That’s really cool Sapphire, I’m so happy for you yunno” Maude said and placed a plate of food on the dining.

“Thanks mom” She replied with a cheeky smile.

“Hey, let’s eat. Dinner is ready” Maude said and began settling down the table.

“Sorry mom, I’m going on a date so I can’t eat with you guys” Sapphire said and began walking upstairs.

“Uuuhhh, a date?! My baby sis is really growing up” Rudolph said.

Sapphire giggled and shook her head before walking into her room.

She began rummaging through her dresses, looking for a perfect outfit for tonight. She smiled satisfactorily as she picked out a Black gown.

Before walking into the bathroom, she tossed it to the bed. She then stripped and began taking a quick shower. Time is slowly running down.

Minutes later, she was done with her bath. She walked out of the bathroom and took a seat in front of her mirror then began rubbing her cream on her body.

Once done, she then put on her down and then brushed it properly on herself. Well it was an off shoulder gown which ended above her knees and hung tightly to her skin showing of her curves!

After putting on her heels, she did some light makeup and then picked up her purse before walking out of the room.

“Wow, you look beautiful!” Rudolph said.

“Thanks” She replied.

She looked at the couch and saw her father sitting on the couch while reading an article.

“Good evening dad” She said.

“Thanks, can I know where you’re going?” Fabian asked without looking up.

“I’m going on a date” She replied.

“With Louis right?” Fabian asked.

Sapphire nodded and looked down. She really hoped her father won’t start a scene right now. That’s the last thing she wants.

Fabian looked at her with a scrutinizing look and then looked back at his article.

“Have fun” He simply said.

Sapphire snapped her head up in surprise. She couldn’t believe her ears, she smiled widely….

“Thanks dad” She replied radiantly.

“Sure” He replied.

She walked out of her house and as expected, Louis was leaning gallantly on his car dressed in a suit. He looked so cute and hot!

Louis looked up and smiled as he saw her approaching.

“Wow, you look gorgeous” Louis said.

Sapphire blushed lightly.

“Thanks” She replied.

He held her hand and then kissed the back of it before guiding her into the car. He closed the door and then sat down on the driver’s seat before zooming off…

Derek parked his car in front of a building. He looked at it and sighed the dipped his hand in his hair, sweeping it to the back.

It’s only for business He said inwardly and then came out of his car then walked up to the gate and rang the bell.

“Good evening young Master” A maid greeted but he simply ignored her and walked in the house.

“Where’s Santiago?” Louis asked as he walked into the living room.

“Let me inform him you’re here” A maid said and went upstairs.

Derek began staring at a picture which was on the wall. It was a picture of his family or will he say that’s how his family used to be.

His hands touched the Face of his mother who was smiling so purely that kindness could be felt from her face. Derek smiled as he remembered all the fond memories that happened with his mother around.

“Miss you so much mom” He said sadly.

“Oh who do we have here? It’s my step son” A female voice said from behind her.

Derek smile immediately fell and his usual cold and emotionless face surfaced back again.

He turned back and saw Raquel. She was dressed in an elegant yellow gown which enhanced her beauty. Her small lips curved up to form a smile.

“Don’t you dare call me that. I assure you, you won’t live another day if you call me that” Derek said calmly.

Raquel smirk grew more wider.

“I’m so scared” She said sarcastically.

“I’m not here for you. Where’s that old man?” Derek asked.

“He’s asleep. He’ll be down in some minutes” Raquel replied and took some steps closer to him.

Derek leaned on the wall and looked away. Ignoring her is the best option for now but it seems she doesn’t want that.

Raquel ran her hands through his chest and held the collar of his neck and leaned towards his ear.

“You became more hotter and handsome during this past two months” She whispered in his ear.

Derek hissed and pushed her away. She almost fell but regain her balance.

“Listen you whore, I’m not here to flirt around with you. You’re my father’s wife and I still have some little respect left for that man. Even if that wasn’t the case, I won’t dare touch you. I don’t touch public goods” He said.

“Son?” Santiago said and descended down the stairs while wearing his robe.

Derek took one last look and Raquel and then walked pass her and stood in front of his father.

“You called for me?” Derek said.

Santiago scoffed…

“Is that how you greet your father?” He asked.

Derek rolled his eyes.

“I’m getting sick and tired of this fvcking house. Just tell me why you called me here so that I can leave” Derek said and dipped his hands in his hair then swept it to the back.

Santiago sighed and shook his head. When will this kid change. Ever since he got married to Raquel, he became cold and rude towards him well that was bound to happen.

Actually, Santiago knew that Raquel was Derek girlfriend but what could he do? He became attracted to her and found himself falling for her. Surprisingly, Raquel responded to his advances and within some weeks, he got engaged to her.

The thing now is he knows who Raquel is before marrying her. She’s really sexually active and knowing the reputation Derek has with women, it’s normal she leaves him and goes back to Derek and that’s something he can’t accept. He has to do something against it!

“Derek, don’t you think it’s time for you to give me a grandchild?” Santiago said and smiled.

Derek furrowed his brows…

“What? You mean I should get married?” Derek asked in surprise.

“Yeah. You’re 27 and you aren’t getting any younger so you have to start somewhere” Santiago said.

Derek pinched his brow and sigh loudly. What’s all this sh*t!!

“So you called me here just to tell me to get married” Derek asked like it was the stupidest thing he’s ever heard.

“Yeah” He replied.

Derek looked at him and shook his head and shook his head then walked out of the house without a word.

“Why does he want Derek to get married” Raquel wondered. She smiled as she remembered Derek.

“It’s not over yet. I’ll prove to you that you still love me just as much as I love your d!ck.”

Sapphire laughed loudly as Louis told her his funny childhood memory.

“Seriously, so you mean your older brother made you dress up as a ballerina and then told you to go to school like that with the pretext that it drives away badluck?” Sapphire asked.

“Yup!! You won’t imagine the face of my friends when they saw me like that. One of my classmate who’s a Christian began praying for me” Louis said and ate his spaghetti.

Sapphire laughed and covered her mouth, trying to stop laughing.

“Your brother is really funny. He must be fun to be with” Sapphire said.

Louis made some faces….

“Well,,,,I won’t say that right now. You see my brother in the past was a very cheerful, kind, loving, funny and friendly person but he suddenly had a change of attitude. Now he’s not the way he was in the past” Louis said.

“Oh..Too bad” Sapphire said.

Louis stood up with a smile and then raised his hand for her to take. Sapphire stood up and took his hand. They both walked to the dancefloor and began dancing to the rhythm of the music.

Well they were at a VIP area so it was only the two of them. Sapphire placed her head on Louis chest as she swayed to the rhythm of music with him.

She could hear his heartbeat and it was like music to her ears. If love felt like this, then she doesn’t want to fall out of love ever again.

As if on cue, they both raised their heads and looked into each other eyes. By that time, they have stopped dancing.

Louis tugged her ear behind her ear which sent shivers through her body. He didn’t know when he found himself leaning in.

Sapphire immediately shut her eyes, expecting what was going to happen next..
