“Good morning Miss Valdez, please have a seat” Doctor Yolanda said.

Doctor Yolanda is the head in other words, she’s the boss in the hospital milieu.

“Thanks” Sapphire said and placed her bag on the floor then sat down.

“I’m Doctor Yolanda. Nice meeting you” She said and offered a handshake. Sapphire gladly took it with a smile.

“Sapphire Valdez, nice meeting you too.” Sapphire replied.

Yolanda went through her files with a satisfactory smile on her face.

“Wow, I can see you have a lot of qualifications to be a potential doctor” Yolanda said.

“Thanks ma’am” She said.

“Oh, call me Yolanda. I’m 28” She said with a smile on her face.

When she was done going through Sapphire résumé, she kept it to the side.

“Alright, I’ll review these files and get back to you by tomorrow or today in the evening” She said.

Sapphire smiled and nodded. She stoof up and made to go but remembered something and turned to Yolanda.

“Uhm excuse me but can you help me I some things? Personal things” Sapphire said.

Yolanda removed her lenses and placed it on the table then rested her chin on her hands.

“Sure go on” She said with a lot of curiosity.

Sapphire took deep breaths and then looked back at Yolanda.

“You see, I don’t know how it happened but I just have memories from when I was six years till now. It’s as if I have some memories lost. I don’t know how it happened. I’ve been going from psychiatrist to psychiatrist but none of tjr. were able to help me.” Sapphire explained.

Yolanda thought for a while.

“I see, there’s two options or reasons why you have memory lost. It’s either something hit your head really hard that you had no other choice than to loose your memory or the memories were too gory or scary that your brain willingly deleted those memories” Yolanda said.

“I came across many people with the same issues like yours and they always tend to have fear or should I say phobia that relates to their issues” She added.

Sapphire thought for a while and then looked up at her again.

“Well I do have a phobia. I’m kinda scared of the dark” Sapphire said.

“Then that fear you have has something in relation to your phobia. Well not withstanding, I’m gonna help you out. Let’s call it a meeting. Come everyday at my office at 7am for some checkups” Yolanda said and smiled.

“Thanks alot. You really helped me more than other doctors could” Sapphire said.

“You’re welcome. I really do admire your character…Really carefree, pure and genuine” Yolanda added.

Sapphire blushed and looked at her fingers.

She stood up and picked up her handbag then turned to the doctor.

“I’ll take my leave now. Have a nice day Yolanda” Sapphire said and they shook hands.

She then walked out of her office and closed the door behind her then out of the hospital too.

What the doctor said really makes sense She began reflecting on it.

Maybe it’s the memory lost that made her have this phobia.

She removed her phone and checked up the time. Well it was still 11am.

She smiled as she saw her favorite cafeteria. She branched into it and sat down then ordered one mug of coffee.

A man was seen in a room. In front of him was a table and on that table were different categories of cocaines, marijuana, weed and other sort of drugs.

“Boss, your men in Columbia has made a pretty good sale” A man said while examining the goods.

Their boss smiled…

“That’s good, ship this ones to them. We need to make some millions” The boss said.

“Sure boss”

“Has the girl been found?” He asked and stood up from his seat.

“Sadly no boss. None of our men has seen a girl with three dots on the back” He answered.

“Alright. You have to find her as soon as possible because she’s a threat to this whole organization. My dad founded this organization and I won’t let it crumple because of a woman” He said and smirked.

Louis got down the car infront of his favorite cafeteria. Well it was noon and it was his break.

He walked into the cafeteria while his guards stood outside the cafeteria. He looked up from the phone he was using and was surprised to see Sapphire here. What funny coincidence!

He kept back his phone and then walked up to her.

“Hey Sapphire” Louis said and took a seat opposite her.

Sapphire looked up from her phone and then smiled.

“Oh hello Louis. How you doing? Never knew you were a fan of coffee” Sapphire said.

“Well I do love coffee a lot and this environment is so calm. I also do love reading novels when I’m free and films too” Louis said.

“Wow, it’s fascinating how we have same taste. This area used to be my favorite spot and it’s still my favorite spot to be. I also love novels and films especially horrors” Sapphire said.

Louis smiled at her. It’s the first time he’s meetinga girl who’s passive and genuine. All the women he met so far well they were just hypocrite trying to gain his attention because of his fame and wealth.

They began discussing, exchanging ideas on the different horror films they watch and also ideas on novels.

Louis groaned as he heard his alarm ring. His break was over and he had to go Back to work.

“Sadly I’ll have to leave you. Work is calling for me” Louis said.

“Alright. See you around” She said with a smile on her face.

“Hey, I have an idea. Mind sharing dinner with me?” He asked.

“Oh, sure. No probs” She replied.

“Alright, I’ll come pick you up by 8pm” He said and winked then walked away.

Louis got out of the cafeteria and boarded the car. It drove him back to the office and he got down then walked in the company.

The workers greeted him and he replied back with the same vibe.

Oh, have to collect some files from my brother He remembered and branched to his office.

He saw the new secretary he hired already working her a$$ off. Poor her!

Without knocking, he opened the door and walked in. Derek didn’t look up for only one person had the audacity to enter his office without warning.

“Hey brother” Louis said and walked up to him.

Derek pressed the last full stop on the keyboard and looked up at him. Well it’s not that he hates his brother or something like that but there’s something about Louis that he hates, he just couldn’t pinpoint it. Actually Louis is the only person who has had a taste of his sweet side.

“Good thing you came, I need you to review these files for me and select the potential investors” He said and handed a folder to Louis.

“Sure I will. Let me get to work before you fire me and then the news will hear a brother firing his own brother from their father’s company” Louis said.

Derek looked at him and simply smiled out his dimples. The smile only lasted for some seconds as it went back to it usual serious self.

Fabian was seen in his workplace typing out the documents he was giving all while processing them.

He leaned on his chair in tiredness as he was done with the first work.

Out of a sudden, his phone began ringing. His personal phone…But who could call him when they know it’s his work hour.

“Hello?” He said rather angrily.

“Fabian, we need to discuss” He heard a familiar voice from the other side of the line.

His anger immediately dissipated…

“General?” He said rather lowly.

“We need to talk” The man said.

“Sure, I’ll be on my way general” He replied and kept back his phone then stood up…
