Episode 22

“Haaaa!!!” Celina screamed and his behind Derek as the lion moved towards them.

“Calm down Celina, it’s caged and beside weren’t you the one who suggested we come here?” Derek spoke.

The passerby all stopped and stared at them as they stood in front of the Lion’s cage. They were so amazed to see the mighty Derek smiling and chatting with a woman.

Some brought out their phones and began taking pictures as it was their first time seeing Derek in life. Photos of him and Celina began making the buzz of the social media…

“Let’s leave and go to the next cage” Celina said.

“Sure Miss I’m courageous but deep down I’m a wet fowl” Derek said and led the way.

“Geez, I can’t even walk in public in peace. These damn fans are always everywhere” Derek said tiredly…

“Well those are the consequences of being a celebrity” Celina replied.

They went to the monkeys. Celina giggled as she watched them jump from tree to tree.

Derek brought out his phone and took some pics of the animals. He also took some pics of Celina caressing them.

Once they got tired of walking round the zoo,they decided to leave.

“Ma’am, please can you take a picture of us?” Celina asked a woman passing by.

“Ohh…sure…” She replied and took her phone, eventually stealing glances from Derek…

Celina walked up to Derek and they strike a pose. The woman took two picture of them for each pose.

“Thanks” Celina said and made to go but Derek held her hand and pulled her to him.

With a swift movement, he removed her shades which made Celina gasp. He used that opportunity to kiss her.

The woman gasp. Are they a couple? Oh my gosh!! She has to take a pic of it. She quickly took some pics of it and also took some with her phone.

Derek released Celina who was blushing profusely. She walked up to the woman and collected her phone.

“Sorry for keeping you waiting and also thank you for the pics” She said and bowed.

“No big deal” She replied and went away…

Celina waved at her and then turned to Derek. She glared daggers at him before marching away. Derek laughed while following her behind.

“How about we go watch a movie?” Celina said again.

“Sure” He replied. As long as he spends time with Celina he’s happy.

They both began walking to the nearest cinema. Celina brought out her phone in order to text Giselle but on the way, she saw a news that pricked her attention.

She gasped as she saw pictures of her and Derek all over the net!! WTF!! All the places they went to the zoo and also a photo of them kissing. It was spreading like a wild fire with so many labels, hash tags on it.

*Omg!! She’s so pretty and lucky! Best couple of the year!

*Oh no, so gorgeous Derek is no longer single?? I missed my chance

*I think I’ve seen this girl. She’s a doctor!

“Derek, come and see” Celina said and showed it to Derek.

Derek looked at it and ached her brows.

“So?” He asked.

“The whole world now knows we’re a couple.” Celina said.

“It’s cool. In fact it’s more than cool… Now the whole knows a queen exist. A queen who succeeded in stealing my heart and making it hers” Derek said.

Celina blushed. Today, she’s just been blushing like a fool. How won’t she, when her husband is so cute and romantic…

“Okay. I’m cool with it” She said and held his hand as they began walking along the streets.

SMASH!!!

Louis smashed the vase against the TV. Raquel was in shock too… Did the news say that Derek has a girlfriend? How dare he move on?

Santiago stared at the two of them. His family is really a crazy family. He simply stood up and went to his room, leaving the two of them out there.

“Derek, I must ki*ll you. Just wait and see” Louis said in anger….

Well the news announced Derek and Celina’s relationship. They even portrayed pictures of them.

Raquel too was in shock. That means Derek doesn’t love her anymore. That means she can’t get to be laid by him again?!

She stood up and marched to who knows where. Louis sat down calculating on his next plan.

A smile crept up his lips as a brilliant plan came up in his head.

“Awn, that’s so romantic” Celina gushed and placed her head on Derek’s shoulder as they sat down, enjoying the movie..

Derek placed his head on her head and held her hand as they watched the movie.

Minutes later, the movie was over. The people stood up and began walking out of the cinema. They stood up too and walked out.

“Let’s go home.” Derek said and made a phone call.

“Emile, please come pick us up. I’ll send the locations to you” Derek said and hung up.

They stood out of the cinema, waiting for the car to come.

“So how old are you?” Celina asked.

Derek looked at her and then looked at the environment.

“I’m 27” He replied…

“Wow, I thought you were like 30 yunno with the stony look on your face. Anyways, I’m 23” Celina replied…

“I got married to a baby” Derek teased..

Celina chuckled and shook her head

The rain slowly began falling. They both watched as the droplets of water landed on the plants and on the tarred road. They were standing under the shelter of the cinema.

“Celina, truth be told you’re the only person I’ve ever confided in this much. Even my best friend knows nothing about me compared to how you do. That’s just to tell you how much you mean to me. I don’t know if I’ll be able to handle it if you leave me” Derek said.

Celina hugged him and placed her head on his chest.

“I’m here okay? I’m not leaving you…” Celina said.

“Thanks. I’ll patiently wait for that day where you’ll say those three three words to me.” Derek replied and kissed her hair.

A car honked and they looked to see it was Emile. Emile got down the car the car with two umbrella in his hands and one he used to cover himself.

He smiled as he saw the two lover birds hugging.

I’m glad they’re beginning to fall for each other Emile said inwardly and walked to them.

“Good evening Sir, ma’am” He greeted and handed the Umbrella to them they opened them and walked to the car then boarded it before driving off to their home.

TWO DAYS LATER.

Derek opened the car for Celina to get out of. He lent her his hand which she gladly took and got down the car.

Her gaze landed on the plane not too far away from them. That’s Derek’s private plane. Well today is the day.

Emile helped in carrying their luggages to the plane. Well he’s staying back but he trusts nothing will happen to Celina….

“Please boss. Protect your wife with all you got” Emile said and Derek nodded…..

“I promise.” He replied and walked to Celina. Celina waved goodbye at Emile, well she’s learnt to love Emile like a father.

They both walked upstairs and entered the plane. Derek took his seat and buckled his belt same as Celina.

Derek sighed sadly…

“What if she isn’t my mother” Derek asked..

Celina held his hand.

“Don’t think negatively. Be optimistic!” She replied.

Derek breathe out and then smiled..

“Okay” He said.

“Have the plane taken off?” Louis asked.

“Yes boss” A man replied.

He smiled

“Good. Get me Derek’s secretary. I need to talk with her” He said and smirked…
