A pretty short chapter 

Sapphire rolled her eyes and folded her arms under her chest. Just what kind of arrogant and rude brat did she get married to?

“Welcome to the family Sapphire” Santiago said with a smile.

As if i wished to be in this fvcked up family Sapphire said inwardly.

“My chauffeur will drive you home. You can collect what you’ll need then he’ll drive you to your new home” Santiago said and signalled a man.

“This way ma’am” The chauffeur said.

Sapphire looked one last time at Fabian before walking away. Recently, she’s beginning to develop some hatred for him.

The driver opened the door to luxurious car for her to enter. She mumbled a thank you before entering.

The driver entered too and drove off, following her directives. Minutes later, the car stopped in front of her house.

Sapphire got down the car and walked in the house. Rudolph already went to work. Maude stood up from her seat immediately Sapphire entered the house.

“How did it went?” She asked.

“Where you expecting me to say good when i got married out of my own will?” Sapphire said and went upstairs. She began packing her things inside two luggage. When she was done, she went downstairs and called the driver in to help her carry her suitcase.

The driver helped her put it in the car’s boot. Sapphire looked one last time at Maude. She didn’t even know what to tell her again.

Without a word, she entered the car and the driver drove off..

Sapphire plugged in her ear pieces and turn on her phone. She went to news feed and was browsing silently. Suddenly a news came up.

“Breaking news, the whole country is in a rampage. Recently the cops have found 20 dead bodies in which all of them were women. The serial killer hasn’t yet been caught and is still on the loose. We don’t yet know the motive of the killer but we strictly advice young ladies not to wander around to late in the night” The journalist said.

20 people in one day? Is that person a human being? How cruel and heartless Sapphire thought..

“Ma’am, we’ve arrived” The driver said.

Sapphire plugged out her ear piece and kept it then got down the car. Her mouth dropped to the floor as she saw a very huge and magnificent mansion standing tall and proud in front of her.

The house is like triple the size of her house and way more classy. If not for the fact that she was brought here out of her own will, then she would have screamed for joy.

Some maids came out of the house and carried her things into the house.

“This way ma’am” A maid said and led the way. Sapphire followed behind.

They walked across beautiful paintings, beautiful structures in fact everything in that house screamed money!

The maid opened a door for her and gestured her in.

“Our boss asked us to prepare this room for you” She said.

So he can also act like a human being? Sapphire thought in surprise.

“Thanks” She said and walked in the room.

“You may leave now, I’ll take care of the rest” Sapphire said again.

The maids bowed and walked out of the room, closing the door behind.

Sapphire looked round the room and it was pretty cool and also very spacious! Well all this could have been good if she was here willingly.

Can’t believe my life changed so drastically She said inwardly as she sat down on the bed.

She stood up again and then began arranging her things in the room. The sooner she begins her plan,
the sooner she’ll get divorced and leave this place.

That took her almost an hour to arrange but she was done. When she finished arranging her things, she got downstairs inorder to see how the area was.

Places were so damn boring! Staying in this huge mansion alone is such a boring life. How does he manage to stay here all alone?

Great, I don’t even know the name of my so called husband She thought.

She began thinking of who and what attitude her husband has. Is he polite or rude? From his behavior earlier, she could see he gat some attitude!

The maids were all looking at her, wondering who she is. Is she a new maid or maybe another b*tch their Master will fvck.

Sapphire walked into the living room while looking around. She saw the couch and then say down on it.

Comfortable

She laid down on it and stretched her hands. She didn’t know when sleep took her away to the land of dreams….

THREE HOURS LATER

“Welcome back home Master” A maid said as Derek stepped foot into the living room.

“Where’s…” He trailed down his words as he saw her so called wife sleeping on his couch. A couch that is worth good money!

He made to speak but stopped midway. Today, he was so angry that he didn’t have time for unnecessary arguments.

Seeing her just reminds him of what his godforsaken father did to him today. Can’t believe he’s married to a girl he doesn’t even know the name.

Without uttering a word, he walked pass her to the his room…

About an hour later, a door bell rang which woke Sapphire up since she was at the living room. She was surprised to see that she fell asleep. Is that rude brat back??

The doorbell rang again which brought her Back to reality. A maid went to attend the person.

Sapphire stood up from the couch and arranged her dress properly with her hair. The door to the living room swung open which made her look up…

All colors drained from her face as she saw who it was.

“Sapphire?” Louis called in surprise. He was so shocked to see her here. What’s she doing at his brother’s house.

He came to free his mind off her but it turned out the person she was trying to forget is in front of her again.

“Louis?” Sapphire called in surprise. Realization hit her really hard as she now remembered where the name Bernardo came from.

Don’t tell me they’re…

“Brother? What’s wrong?” Derek said curiously…

Louis and Sapphire turned to look at Derek who was still confused…
