Johnson Mansion~
Violet walked into the mansion and was giving assess as always. They still believe she is Megan’s friend, so she was allowed in. She replied the maids who greeted her with a smile and went towards the stairs that leads to the upper rooms.

She had covered a few steps when a maid called out to her.

“Are you looking for someone miss, it’s quite late and no one is around” The young maid muttered. Violet gritted her teeth but changed her expression when she turned to face the lass.

“Oh…you look new here, perhaps you don’t know me” She grinned

The maid furrowed her brows, clamping her fingers together

“I know you miss.. you are Violet, Miss Megan’s friend. I’m not a new maid, perhaps you haven’t just noticed me.” She replied

“Well dear..you are right” Violet replied, still giving that fake smile

“I am not here for Megan, because I know that she hasn’t yet been found…hum..too bad” She feign a sad face

“I’m here to see Lottie, her personal maid, it’s really important” She stated.

“Oh..that’s not gonna be possible” the maid replied, as Violet frown, she was beginning to think the maid is working in hand with Lottie. She really needs to confirm something.

“Why”

“Lottie isn’t around, she went to serve at the prince party, and just now, we heard that it was raided by some beast, only one of our maids who she went with them came back, the others including Lottie can’t be found.

But you can come back tomorrow, she might be safe, hiding somewhere” She concluded as Violet sighed. She is now sure of the game Lottie is playing, it is either she had compelled Riana, or taken up her body. Or perhaps took Riana’s face…or..gosh..she seem confused here.

If Lottie had succeeded in possessing Riana, then her real body will be in her room, but who the hell is the other Lottie that went to the party? She thought.

Just then the senior maid rushed in, the others maids scurried to where she sat on the ground, sobbing

“What is it ma’am…what happened”

“It’s Phil, I can’t find her, after those beasts came in, everyone found their route and we lost contact.” She said and sniffed in

“Has anyone seen Courtney and Lottie” She asked, as Courtney surge forward

“Courtney is here….” Another maid stated

“But I can’t find Lottie…I had to leave the scene in a hurry, she was serving some guest when the beast raided the place.” Courtney muttered shedding tears.

Violet simply watched them and scoffed, but they didn’t notice her, not until the chief maid look her direction.

“You came at the wrong time Violet, you need to hurry home now that the roads are still filled with police men; those beasts are really dangerous” She muttered, getting on her feet. Violet nodded, feigning fear

“I will take my leave now” She muttered and left in a hurry.

Instead of leaving totally, she waited for the maids to return to their duty posts, cursing the other maid who distracted her.

“I should have just appeared in Lottie’s room instead of going in as a human.” She thought

“And that’s just what I will do”

She vanished from that spot and appeared in Lottie’s room. With a smile of victory, she glanced round to see the room, empty. This wasn’t what she was expecting, what is Lottie hiding, where is her body?”

She asked no one in particular. Looking at it with normal eyes, the room is clean and without filters. But a spiritual being will recognize the use of magic in covering up some things; this is just a façade.

Violet laughed out hieratically, raising her hands in the air to break the spell, but it wouldn’t bulge. She won’t be able to break it in her human form, so she had to change. And just after changing, she tried muttering some spells again when the door to the room suddenly open.

Violet snarled and looked at the intruder. It was the maid who interrogated her earlier. What does this b!tch wants” She thought angrily.

The maids screamed her lungs out on seeing Violet, looking like a witch that she is. She ran out of the room, running down the stairs, shouting.

“Help!!…help!!! there is a witch in the house…argh” the maid continued to shout, as the others in the house ran out to question her

“F**k” Violet cursed.

“If I get the hold of that idiot, I will skin her alive” She gritted, creating a portal that will lead her out of the room.

The spell that Lottie used to create the illusion is so strong; it will take minutes before she will be able to break it.

But that won’t be possible any longer, because in few second, the security men will be up here to confront her, and she isn’t ready for a fight with humans now. She entered the portal and left.

“What the hell happened Jessica, why are you screaming” the chief maid asked, as the other maids and servants hurried to where is stood whimpering. The security men had already been alerted, they rushed to the scene with their ammunitions

“What is wrong…speak up”

“It’s Violet…she..she is a witch..i saw her in Lottie’s room” Jessica replied

“Really…come on…let’s check it out” the chief security officer said to his colleagues as they climb up the stairs being careful and prepared for any attack. The others were still downstairs, watching them as they made their way up; they were all shivering to their bones

“How sure are you that it is violet” One of the maids asked

“When she came here earlier, she said she wanted to see Lottie…but..but I told her about what happened at the party and the fact that Lottie went as a waitress.

I told her to come back tomorrow to look for her, that’s if Lottie returns. After the chief maid discharge us, I was heading to my room when I hear footsteps in Lottie’s room.

I was beginning to think it was Lottie, who had sneaked in, perhaps through her window or so..so I opened the door and saw Violet, looking dreaded.

She seem to be casting some spells or so….oh God…I’m so scared..what if she comes back for me” Jessica rushed her words, sobbing

“It’s ok…dear…we won’t allow that witch in again” The chief maid said

“What if she is behind the kidnap of Miss Megan…I’ve never trusted that Violet…she acts odd” Another maid said, as the others kept saying their minds about her

“She acts bitchy too…I hate her.”

“She might have a hand in Megan’s kidnap, we need to tell boss and ma’am Dinah when they come back”

“That’s enough girls, we need to solve the matter in ground first.” The chief maid shunned them. She held up Jessica who was still sobbing.

“You need to stop crying dear…come on” She pet her, despite being afraid too. Fear can be written on all their faces, they are just trying to stay bold.

The security men came down, wearing a frown

“Did you see her…did she leave”

“We didn’t see any sigh of a witch..the room is just the way is has been..i think…”
Everyone heave a sigh of relief, and looked at Jessica. She stood up cleaning her tears.

“But I saw her…she was there” Jessica defended

“Well I think someone was in the room earlier…Jessica might be right. We found this” he raised up and handkerchief

“I recognize that….Violet held it earlier when she came in” One of the maids stated, as the other nodded in affirmation

“That means she left after Jessica saw her…but what was she doing in Lottie’s room” the chief maid asked, but no one could answer that question

“I think we haven’t been doing our jobs well, we will make sure we check everyone coming in, and not just allow any one into the mansion from now on; either friends to the family or not” the security man stated, as they all agreed.

D’Arcy roared in fury as one of the warriors clawed his back, it was just below where the mark of royalty is. He growled, taking full force of his strength as he lurch on the one who injured him. He ripped out his neck before his own eyes, dumping the lifeless body on the ground.

The last one licked his lips, giving out a loud growl. His comrades lay on the floor lifeless while he is the last man standing, ready to fight a royal blood. He wasn’t the strongest, but he wouldn’t back out now.

He is following orders; bring the head of the prince, was the command given to him, and so shall it be. He charged at D’Arcy again, as they continued to fight, stumbling on the dirt, raining blows at each other, using their super speed and eye sight as their strength.

D’Arcy heard Emerald’s scream when she fell from the tree and became uneasy. He has to finish the last one in order to go check on her. He gave the warrior a resounding blow which sent him towards the ground. The warrior groaned and struggled to give his stance.

D’Arcy had already used that period to climb up a tree. He watch as the warrior searched for him, taking his time not to become the prey. But he wasn’t wise; he was actually walking into D’Arcy’s den. Just as he walked closer to the tree that D’Arcy hid on’ D’Arcy jumped from it in a fast pace; and landed on his shoulders, ripped his head off.

Blood gushed out of his lifeless body which was still standing. He pushed it on the ground and jumped down. Heaving a sigh of victory, he dashed into the forest to look for his mate.

Deleon sniffed, nose searching for who had spoken. He could smell a faint witch smell and also that of a vampire. He wasn’t sure about it, but he knew a witch was around. Just then, Drusilla appeared behind Emerald.

She screamed in fear falling to the ground on seeing Drusilla, but remained calm when she noticed her feature. She wasn’t in her witch or vampire form. She looked just like human. Emerald hurriedly went behind her, in order to be safe from the blood tasty vampire.

She peeped from behind, watching as how the vampire growled in rage; praying silently that all this should pass away with her still being alive. Why the hell did she get into this mess? She thought

“Who the hell are you hunhn…you frail witch, leave now before I offer your head to my snake” He gritted. Drusilla smirked

“And who the hell is frail..come on.. stop being an idiot…he is an idiot right pretty girl..” She asked Emerald who doesn’t know how to reply. She only nod and shook her head, confused, with a nervous smile.

“Ok..tell him that he is an idiot” She muttered as Emerald’s eyes popped out. She stared at Deleon whose eyes were already turning to flames.
She started to sob

“Come on…now is not the time to cry…he won’t…” Drusilla was yet to complete her statement, when Deleon sent his python towards her, but she was expecting it anyway. Before it got to her, she set it on fire as it flames became a firework.

“Wow…isn’t that beautiful” She asked Emerald, who shook her head
“No..no…please I want all this to end…I want to go home…arghhh” She continued to cry
Deleon laughed

“You can’t use your flimsy spells on me…let’s see what you got” He called out a spell in a very loud voice as the whole snake in the forest, both large and small start creeping towards them.

Some were falling off the trees, while the others, coming out from holes or any hidden place. They were a thousand in number as they made a circle round them. Emeralds legs couldn’t hold her up any longer, she screamed and passed out.

Drusilla picked her up in her arms and created a shield to protect them. She placed Emerald close to a tree, and went out of the shield to attack Deleon. The fight started; Deleon throwing a snake at her while she turned them to flames, but trying hard to avoid their bite.

Some of the snaked were trying to hurt emerald but the shield prevented them from doing so. Any one that goes closer will be burnt up. Deleon didn’t relent; he kept on summoning more beasts, like scorpions, wild spiders, and other poisonous insect.

They were getting too much; Drusilla couldn’t keep up with them anymore. She was about casting another spell to destroy those beast when D’Arcy surge from behind, stabbing Deleon in his back with his claws.

The whole claws went in like five sharp swords as he created a hole in it, pulling out his heart through his back. He dropped it on the ground and turn to face Deleon.

He looked him in the eyes fiercely; Deleon wasn’t yet dead, but he could feel his strength leaving him.

His power was also leaving; just as the beasts he had summoned all scurried back to their location, leaving the ground with none of their traces.

“In your next life, you will prepare well to fight a royal….kiss the devil’s a$$ for me” D’Arcy snarled coldly. Deleon eyes flipped behind as his knees hits the dusty earth, which was already filled with his blood. He gave his last breath and stumble to the ground.

D’Arcy spat on him. He turned to stare at Drusilla, as his gaze fell on Emerald who lay on the ground, her back resting on a tree. He returned his gaze to Drusilla, looking at her deeply, as he walked closer. And just then, the ring on his finger shone brightly, even more than it has ever done.
