Back at the Palace~

“I’m sorry my princess, but the queen is busy, she doesn’t want to be disturbed” The guard outside Amber’s chambers said to Jezebel, who glared hard at him.

“Are you daft, I said leave the way, I need to see her” She snapped, forcing her way in. The guard tried to grab her but she was super faster than him.

She got into the room and met Amber on the couch, eating from a plate filled with slices apples. Amber turned to look at her and smiled.

She had actually heard her argument with the guard outside. The guard got in panting a bit. He bowed before Amber before speaking

“I’m sorry my queen, she..she..forced her way in” He shuttered, giving Jezebel a glance while she scoffed

“You can leave…” Amber simply stated, picking up a golden cup which held sweet wine in it. She stood up to her feet, making sure her rope didn’t get in her way, by pushing it to the back, as she walk gently towards the angry Jezebel.

“So..lovely friend…opps..my bad..sister in law” She winked, taking a sip of the wine

“What do I owe this visit?”

“You are digging your grave Amber, what’s the fake news all about” Jezebel gritted

“Oh…you heard already, it’s barely twenty four hours…I believe those maids’ mouth are licking. Anyways, the fake news is true, happy now” She smirked

“You b!tch..you are just finding all possible means to remain in this palace. I never know what made me friends with you in the first place. You are a backbiter, a backstabber, and a slut. You f**king stole my brother from me” Jezebel yelled

“At least, I’m not the one who can’t control my urge when horny. I don’t do women, I don’t f**k strangers, I only have my man who is my husband, and he is your brother, so why will you say that I took him from you.

I didn’t, because he isn’t your boyfriend…” She paused and gave Jezebel a squinting look before speaking up again.

“Wait…don’t tell me that you are also f**king your brother” Amber said, anger already flipping in her eyes, but it was cut short when jezebel lurch at her with full force, pinning her by the neck as she landed her on the bed, staying above.

“Don’t you ever say such word again, else I will rip off your tongue b!tch. Look at me Amber, I am royal, I have the power to turn you lifeless right now, so don’t tempt my patient.

That freaky thing you got in your stomach should be taken out else I will do it myself. You will never bare the heir of this kingdom, you don’t belong here.” She growled, expecting Amber to retaliate, but she only pushed Jezebel off, coughing slightly which turned into hieratical laughter.

Jezebel was stunned, what’s wrong with her, she thought

“Really, royal indeed…come on Jezzy, you are so dumb. Have you forgotten that my dad was once a doctor before he became an elder? Well, wanna hear a little secret…” She stated, sitting properly on the bed, as jezebel watched on still fuming

“Your mum made your dad, choose my dad…to become an elder. That’s while he is considered one of the youngest elder. Mind you my dad is just 600 years, and had me 205 years ago, meaning that I’m five years older than you” She winked

“And how does that have to do with me” Jezebel gritted. She was getting more piss; her mission here is to get Amber angry so that she can get into a fight with her and find a way to injure her which will terminate the pregnancy.

“Now, that’s why I said that you are dumb” Amber smirked. Jezebel let out a silent growl
“And don’t get angry yet, because I am not done with the story. Ok, have you ever wondered why your mum will force Hunter to get married to me?

I and Hunter might have f**ked several times since he is a jerk and loves f**king ladies in the kingdom, and the fact that we were friends made it possible for us to meet.

But that’s not all, Hunter doesn’t love me, and I know that, but he agreed to marry me, despite not being his mate; that’s the work of your mum.

She made my dad an elder, gave her son to his daughter for marriage which is clearly inappropriate. Doesn’t that ring something to you?

My dad stop being a doctor few years after you were born, he was actually the one in charge when she gave birth to you.”

Amber paused looking at jezebel for any reaction; she smiled when she saw her dazed look. Jezebel on the other hand was trying to put the piece together, why is Amber telling her all this.

It’s true that her mum is unusually close to Emmett, yes, she knows that he was once a doctor, but why is Amber bringing all this up

“You claim to be royal Jezebel, but mind you, royals are strong, they have this strength that a normal vampire doesn’t have, but you are completely a weak vessel.

Royals can control their feelings, their urges, except when it comes to their mates. I’m not talking about jerk royals this time

But you don’t have a mate, and you have f**ked most of the men in this kingdom, the guards and even some maids” Amber smiled; walking up to face her, Jezebels morale was depreciating.

Her heart was thumping hard, she has never thought of all this before, while is Amber rubbing her weaknesses to her face

“And lastly, Royals are always born with a royal mark in any part of their body, mostly the back close to their shoulders for the men, and the cleavage for the women, but you have none. We have bath together several times and I have made my research”

“Look sweetie, I’m not saying that you are not royal, but you still need to find out more about yourself, there are lot of secrets beneath the carpet” She smirked, and went back to the couch she sat on earlier.

Jezebel still stood there, not knowing what to say. She came here to destroy Amber’s pregnancy in a fight, but she got something else in return, an assignment.

After standing there for some time, she gently leave the room. Amber noticed her absence and smiled

“What a good way to start a war” She smirk

“The palace will be on fire soon…hmmm..i need to check on my dad”

“Have you told your husband yet” Emmett asked Amber, pouring out a drink for her
“Nope…haven’t seen him for a while now, he rarely calls me to his chambers.”

“Then you will have to go to him, he needs to know about the pregnancy, he must hear it from you first
“I will tell him”

“He went for a battle I think…so don’t hesitate to go to him when he is back”
She nodded and collected the drink from him, taking a sip from it.

“I think he is sleeping with her too”
“Who”

“Hunter…and Jezebel”
He scoffs

“What do you expect, they are wayward, and you shouldn’t let that bother you”

“But he is my husband, and that is wrong according to the law, while will he be having an affair with her” She resorted. He sighed and stared intently at her

“You know why you are their Amber; I won’t let you ruin our plans. Leave them to whatever they want to do; very soon, they will meet their doom.

You only need to give the king an heir, so that, once Hunter is gone your son will take over. There won’t be any other royal blood to do so”

“What about D’Arcy..what if he comes back”

“And how sure are you that he is the king’s son? No one knows his mother, the king brought him home one day and told the whole kingdom about him, but we have no proof.

We didn’t get to see him again because he was always kept in the palace, we don’t know if he has the trident mark on him to show that he is of royal blood, we never got to see his body.” He stated. Amber heaves a sigh

“But we can’t be sure”
“They are gonna ki*ll him if he is truly the king’s son”

“Who”

“Thana of course…she is smart, she won’t wanna let anyone share the throne with her son. So we shouldn’t be bothered about that, and since he has decide to leave, he won’t come back for the throne”

Battlefield
The fight was getting tough, and the warriors were getting much, they are about overpowering the duo.

“Lazarus!!! We need to get out of here; we can’t hold them down alone” Logan voice lapse into the air, as Lazarus gave a loud cry.

“Arghhhh” he grunted, his eyes were already changing colour, the mark at his back started to glow out light.

The warriors were force to move back, they became scared at his sudden transformation. Even those fighting Logan were forced to retreat; they don’t want to be the victim of the demon’s wrath.

The aura coming out of him demands respect, but he continued to grunt, finding it hard to change into his danger form. He hasn’t change before, and this is having a huge turn on him.

He yelled out again, groaning loudly, his claws were getting bigger, his fangs drip out blood, tearing off the mask in process, with his eyes turned to pure fire.

Hunter gasped right from where he sat enjoying the show. He was forced to get up, when one of the top warriors ran to meet him

“He is trying to invoke the power of Dracula, we need to leave now” The warrior shouted, but Hunter will hear nothing of it.

He was pissed at the warriors who were retreating. Logan also didn’t try to go closer; he could feel the heat coming out of Lazarus that he had to go far away from him.

Hunter gave a low grunt, picking up the trident, as he struck it to the ground. It gave a loud bang, the earth shook a bit. The weather was already changing colour, the clouds were getting dark as flashes of light sparks in it.

He flew into the air with the aid of the ring on his finger and landed in front of Lazarus who was still struggling to keep the power in check.

He had encountered the primary stage of this power, but he wasn’t hard on him. He only noticed few changes in his strength, speed and skills.

Now it is trying to force its way out taking over completely which he doesn’t want, because he won’t be in charge.

Hunter struck him with the trident, sending him into the air as he landed on the ground.

“No!!!!” Logan yelled trying to come into the scene

“Seize him” Hunter yelled as the warriors grab Logan pushing him to the ground, they bound him in chains in seconds before he could retaliate

“You bas***d” Logan yelled trying to free himself, but hunter use the trident power to hold him down. He laughed out walking towards were Lazarus lay. Lazarus struggled to his feet. The tridents power really had an effect on him.

“I am a god..you are the dog, you should bow in reverence to me…but you are just too stubborn. Don’t try to fool me with your magic; you want us to believe that you are Dracula, haahaaha…that’s impossible.

Say goodbye to your sister and friend, because you won’t see them again” Hinter snarled.

As at that word, Lazarus rose to his feet, ready to crush him, but Hunter had already taken a reasonable distance into the air, and that’s where he had an upper hand.

“Come down and fight me …you coward” Lazarus yelled
Hunter chuckled

‘”I have a family to raise…..” he stated, and stretch out the trident
“I, Hunter, lord of Vampic fall hereby banish you Lord Zarus from this kingdom” he muttered

“No!!…Lazarus do something” Logan yelled out, trying to free the bound, but it was late, the trident spell had circled Lazarus, blasting out light as Lazarus figure began to fade off.

“I will be back for you” Lazarus muttered before he totally went off. The light dies down, as the other vampire who had taken shade from it begun coming closer.

“You bas***d…bring him back…you are a coward..you rely on the trident, why can’t you fight him, man to man” Logan yelled. Hunter frown

“Take him away” he gave orders, and kissed the trident with a smirk on his face

“You coward” Logan continued to rant
“Even if I fight with him, he won’t still beat me, I have the ring on my finger; and the trident…”

“He will come back for you…you heard him…he will” Logan snapped, as the warriors drag him away
Hunter laughed out

“He has been banished buffalo; he won’t be able to break into the shield”

“You are so dumb” Logan cursed shaking his head, leaving Hunter to reminisce on his word. Will Lazarus really come back? He believes that anyone that has been banished will never come back, except they are called back using the trident again.

He thought, and this alone is making him restless. Where the hell is Onyx? He fumed
