people at work are saying am fat” I said
I don’t know” he laughed
my babe had lost alot of weight ,I wanted to know what was wrong with him,everytime when he was coughing he would go to the bathroom or far away from me .
you want a girl or boy ” I asked
another girl ash is lonely” he said
which lonely when she is always at her grandmother’s house” I laughed
yesterday I told her we go together ,she yelled “daddy I don’t want” he said

am sleepy babe” he said
he pecked my lips and I went to lala land ,I felt so cold and I opened my eyes ,when I looked at Miguel’s side ,he wasn’t there ,his pillow was covered with blood ..I got up and heard him coughing from the downstairs bathroom..i opened the door and there he was coughing ,he had a white cloth in his hand ..

he got startled and hide the cloth ,I tried getting the cloth ,he stopped me .

I held his cheeks , before I could say anything he collapsed ..
I called the guards to help me put in the car. I drove like a maniac,it was 02:33am ,I kept looking at him ..
I took him to Italian hospital ..

I pointed at the car..he was put on the stretcher and they took him to a room or ward..
I called his parents ,than called chama ,I told her to get me a jersey at home first..
how is he ” chama asked
I don’t know ” I said putting on my coat
what happened…I wanted to answer and his parents appeared..
what happened” they asked
he collapsed ,he had a cough but just today I found out he was coughing blood” I said
my baby” the Mother said
the doctor appeared with some papers in his hands ..
who are his family”he asked
we are ” mum said
am the wife and his parents” I said
he looked at me first
is he okay”I asked
your husband has Hemoptysis” he said
what’s that “I asked
hemoptysis its bleeding outside the lungs and airways. Severe nosebleeds or vomiting of blood from the stomach can result in blood draining into the windpipe (trachea ). The blood is then coughed up” he explained
I didn’t know what it was but I had to act smart ..
can it be cured ” I asked
yes ,In many people with hemoptysis, no cause is ever identified but with your husband ,it’s a cause of a certain drug he was exposed to ” he said
drug” the father asked
yes ,will do more research on it ” he said
can we see him” I asked
yes ” he said
we went in and he was connected to so many machines..
he gave us a faint smile ..
I love you ” he whispered
I couldn’t stand seeing my husband like that ,I left everyone and sat in the car ..am not a religious person ..
but I needed to pray for my husband..
“Lord it’s been long time since I talked to you ,my husband has wronged you a thousand times but please forgive him Lord ,heal him father “amen ..
Miguel wants to see you ” jackson said
I got out of the car
you need to be strong” he said
I wish it was easy” I said
try honey ” he said
I went to his room ,he asked everyone to excuse us .
hey” he said
hi” I sat next to him
come sleep here” he said
we won’t fit ” I said
just come ” he said
I joined him
you were one chicky girl” he said laughing
don’t start” I said
we talked about our past and he slept ..
I went to take a shower and went back to the hospital ..
#5months
it was the most hardest months of my life being pregnant and taking care of Miguel ..
he started his chemotherapy treatment ,it was hard for him because he was treated like a cancer patient ,we were in and out of hospitals .. indeed marriage is not for the weak because you can surrender ..
he lost all his hair
I hate this ” he said
you look sexy” I said
yeah ” he said
look you will be okay ,am glad this treatment will help you ” I said
I love you ” he said
I pecked his lips ..
I heard a knock at the door ..
let me see who is at the door ” I said getting up
my sexy mama” he teased
I got up ..
I opened the door and couldn’t believe my eyes ..
am home ” she said.
