TROUBLE IN HEELS.

EPISODE 90..

 

 

Lucas stood Infront of the floor to ceiling window of his study with his hands shoved deep into his pocket..

He was lost in his thoughts as memories of years ago flooded his thoughts…

His hands clenched Into a fist that he didn’t notice the person standing so close to him..

“Babe..”Anna called out to him but got no response..

It was like he was lost in his own little world and had blocked every other sound from getting into his head…

Anna placed her hand on his forearm and only then was he break out of the trance he was in…

“Do you need anything?” He asked with a concern expression even though he was the one in need of help…

“Are you okay?” She cupped his face but he looked away and heaved a sigh…

“I feel bad..” he mumbled without staring at her..

She stood Infront of her and made him look down at her…

“Look at me, love..” she whispered just loud enough for him to hear..

“Do you wanna talk about it?” She asked and he nodded…

He took a deep breath before speaking and Anna could tell he was having difficulty in saying what he wanted to say…

 

“April 12th my Parents got a call about their subsidiary in Austria got into some kinda of Accident and the attention of the CEO and COO was urgently needed… Grandfather didn’t want them to leave that night because it was actually my birthday but Dad insisted they needed to solve the issue before it becomes a major problem.. I didn’t wanna spend my birthday night alone so I decided to go with them.. we were only a few minutes away from the ancestral mansion when the brakes failed and it happened.. I lost three important people that night and after then I hated myself for being alive… After several attempts of harming myself, I suddenly couldn’t feel pain or any emotion anymore..”

Lucas finally stared at his woman with a troubled expression..

He was sweating profusely and his hands were trembling as he taken back to that day..

“It wasn’t your fault, I get the fact that you kept it to yourself and didn’t talk about it because that incident traumatized you. You don’t have to carry every single problem on your shoulder okay? And I’m sure mom would understand..” Anna sounded like she was scolding a baby ..

Lucas couldn’t find the right words to say and ended up placing his head on her shoulder and hugged her tightly…

This was the first time he talked about his wounds…

He kept buried within and never kept any pictures of his parents in his Mansion just to keep him from remembering such horrible memory…

It took years of therapy to make him sane again and after years of torment, he finally found love and was able to feel waves of emotions….

“I love you so much.” Anna smoothed his disheveled hair and stroked his back tenderly…

“I love you Anna..” his voice was husky as he buried his face in her hair…

She pulled away from him and sealed his lips in a slow passionate kiss…
