EPISODE 74.

 

 

 

“There’s absolutely no way I’m letting you come to the company in that condition.” Lucas who was fixing his tie spoke but Anna wasn’t having it..

 

“You don’t expect me to stay at home all day,do you? Because that’s not happening!” She glared at him still helped him with his tie..

 

“You know I’m doing this for your sake, Anna. I don’t want you to overwork yourself or Mom is gonna be mad at me.” Lucas tried to reason with her but Anna simply pouted her lips and tried to get away from him but he suddenly snuck his hand around her waist and pulled her closer..

 

His eyes were gentle as he stared at her..

 

“Can you not be stubborn this once and just listen to me?” Lucas knew how stubborn his wife could be but he wasn’t gonna loose to her .

 

Last night he’d read alot of books on parenting and maternity too. The first trimester of pregnancy tend to be unstable and has a high chance of miscarriage..

 

He wanted her to rest more and just enjoy the luxury of being at home with lots of servants at your beck and call…

 

His Mansion has everything she wanted in it so he saw no reason why she wanted to come to office when she clearly enjoy months of lazing around..

 

 

 

“Wow! It’s Anna now? What happened to love, baby, Honey, Babe, Wifey?” Anna was was being dramatic but she didn’t care.

 

 

 

She doesn’t wanna be home without doing anything.

 

Before she’d met Lucas, she enjoyed lazing around but after spending time with him she slowly got used to his busy lifestyle.

 

It’s been a week since they found out she was pregnant and Lucas has been treating her like a fragile little woman about to break.

 

She hated being treated like a child and not having to do anything anymore..

 

“Come on, Anna stop being dramatic.” Helplessness flashed in his eyes as he stared at the woman who was misunderstanding him once again..

 

Well he found out in the book he was reading that pregnant tends to be dramatic and has mood swings too and also loves to exaggerate alot.

 

“You know what? Just get out! It’s obvious you don’t love me anymore, because I’ve gotten fat.” She yelled at him and pushed him away, he was honestly speechless..

 

“Babe I never said that. I love you so much but I really don’t want you to get hurt and who said anything about you being fat? You’re the most beautiful woman in my eyes , okay? ” He spoke tenderly like he was trying to coax a child but Anna didn’t pay him any attention…

 

“Whatever, just get outta my sight.” She mumbled even though deep down felt giddy when he effortlessly told her he loves her…

 

Lucas chuckled and moved closer to her while she was not paying attention and planted a kiss on her forehead tenderly and Also pressed a kiss on her cheek making her blush faintly..

 

“Don’t think I’ll forgive you because of a mere kiss..” she nonchalantly spoke but he didn’t take it to heart because he knew she didn’t mean any of those things she was saying…

 

“I love you too!” Lucas winked at her but she became confused because she didn’t say anything.

 

 

 

“I never said I love you!” She glared at his retrieving back and a smile made its way to her face…

 

Even though they would bicker endlessly everyday, she never stopped loving him..

 

He was the best thing that has ever happened to her…
