It’s the day the branch would be launched. Sola took his time to look extra as he would be called out and introduced as the manager.
He looked himself one last time in the mirror and walked out.

Can’t afford to be late.

He got to the party right on time, looking about and wishing his mother were present. He would have loved to introduce her to his boss.

He had told her a lot about him though.
She informed him of her visit to Abuja to stay a few weeks with his sister and apologized for not being able to make it.
“Do record it and send them to me.” she had told him. ”I don’t want to miss the smile on my baby’s face”.
He smiles as he recalls her saying this.
Baby.
He laughed as he had done when she said it.
Sola was called out, introduced and applauded. The smile on his face could hardly wipe off as people began coming in ones and groups to congratulate him.
He soon begins to feel the need to use the bathroom so he excuses himself.

She walked, gracefully, towards a group of familiar people to greet. Her hand holding up her dress to prevent it from making her trip while the other holds a glass of wine.
She narrows her sight on them as she draws closer not noticing the young man, engrossed in what he was doing on his phone, approaching her. The contact caused the glass in her hand to fall to the ground.
Sola would have apologized as the gentleman he was, but was captivated by the woman he had just bumped into. He didn’t realize he was staring until she said “hi” to him with a smile on her face.
A big smile that shows she was trying to hold back her laughter.
Sola snapped out and apologized profusely.

He cursed inwardly.

He was still apologizing when Mr. Olaniyan walks up to them.
“Just the man I’m looking for.” he chuckles. “oh! And I see you’ve met my daughter, Sire.”

Sola took his eyes back to the lady standing in front of him. She was wearing a fitted red evening dress, showing off her curves. The off-the-shoulder, V-neck dress exposes a notable amount of her glowing clear skin.

Her silver glitter shoes matches the silver metallic clutch she held in her hand.
Her gelled hair bounded up in a ponytail with extensions reveals the red pearl earrings that matches the pearl necklace she had on.

Her neutral make-up seems to do little in covering up her natural beauty.

So he thought, as he admire the gorgeous lady that stands before him with a beautiful smile on her face.

“Pemisire”. She introduces stretching her hand, out, for a shake.

The smile she had on never left her face neither did his leave.

Kent watched the young adults walk to a corner and began talking.
Hopefully, everything would work out just fine.

For you brother.

He thought smiling with his eyes slightly closed.
