“Sit, I will keep you company then.”

“What do you want to do?” He asked.

I scratched my cheek, thinking.

“We can ask each other questions?”

He quirked a brow at my suggestion.

“Sounds….” He shrugged.

“Okay.”

“Do you want me to start?” I asked.

“I will start. What do you hate about me?”

“Is this a trap?”

“How?” He asked innocently.

“Like you won’t hold me to my words later on?”

“Never, there will be nothing like that.”

“Well, there was a time I hate…”

A frown made it’s way to his face at that.

“Not you but the way you talk and act towards me but now that I have gotten to know you more, I found out you have a good side to you. But there is something I have always wanted to ask you.”

“What is it?”

“Am I really stupid and clumsy?”

I was looking at him with all seriousness now.

“No, you are not.”

He could feel my gaze on him and he knew very well I needed him to say something else to what he just said.

“About that day, I wasn’t in my right mind. I’m sorry if I hurt you with my words.” He apologized.

“Now I remember, you called me that day in the evening.”

“Yeah I did.”

“Was it about work?”

“I was going to apologize for lashing out on you.”

“Oh! I understand you weren’t in a good mood that day though and also, it wasn’t my intention to not pick your call, water ran into my phone by accident.”

We talked some more.

“It seems basketball is your best sport too since you have a basketball court in your house?”

“Yeah, it is.” He answered.

“But how come the first time I was there, it looked like no one had never been there before?”

“I just had it renovated then.”

His phone buzzed that moment.

“Excuse me.”

He opened his phone to check whatever message it was.

“I have missed working with you.” He said to me while still checking something on his phone.

“Same here.” I pouted.

We continued talking until our backs were aching.

“Can I see your childhood pictures?”

“They are bad, you wouldn’t want to see them.”

“They can’t be as bad as mine. Let me see them.” I urged.

He opened his phone before giving it to me.

While swiping through his photos, I found a picture of me.

Just like the time at work, I could feel thousands of butterflies in my stomach.

In the picture, I was looking sideways with a big smile on my face.

With what I had on in the picture I could tell when the picture was taken.

We were about to lose a client that particular day but I was able to convince her from ending business with us.

I couldn’t believe he took my picture while I wasn’t looking.

“My mum wanted so badly to see my new secretary then and so I had snapped your picture to send it to her.” He explained when he saw what I was staring at.

Oh that’s it,
