“You look hungry and Homeless.” His cold eyes bore holes on her skin making her slightly uncomfortable but didn’t change her eating habit..

 

“Yeah more reasons why you shouldn’t get married to me.” She spoke while chewing and this made feel disgust..

 

“It doesn’t matter, I can always change that.” He once again stopped her from escaping the marriage plans..

 

Does he even know what she was sent to do?

 

She couldn’t understand why he kept insisting on getting married to her when he could have millions of pretty girls at his feet if he wanted..

 

“I snore while sleeping, I’m also not a virgin and I have slept with countless men.. you can have any woman of your choice so I don’t see why you want to get married to a lowly servant like Me..” she said in one breath and carried on with her meal…

 

 

 

It was so delicious she wanted to ask for more but that would be far fetched, No?

 

It was a five star Michelin restaurant with and this was the first time she has had something this tasty..

 

“It’s important you be a virgin, and also your background doesn’t matter.. you’re getting married to me and not countless men.” He sounded like a gentleman but Anna couldn’t feel a strange Aura around him…

 

She knew his gentle face was nothing but a mask.. he’s probably hiding his true self somewhere waiting to devour her…

 

Anna was good at reading people but this man Infront of her was difficult to understand, his cold face gave nothing away and his hazel eyes had a mysterious glint in it..

 

This was a typical example of a wolf hiding in sheep clothing..

 

“Stop trying to act like a gentleman it’s not who you’re..”  she simply said and shrugged and this made him raised an eyebrow…

 

Interesting…

 

“What made you think so? Did you see my fangs somewhere?” He shook his head and began eating.. he was wondering what was going on in her head…

 

“There are a lot beautiful women who are in your class , you can go get married to anyone of your choice..” she wasn’t gonna give up..

 

 

 

She has to discourage him into getting married to her so when he tells his people he can’t get married to her everything would be okay and they would let her go but unbeknownst to her things are not as easy as she thinks…

 

 

 

“Well I choose you and that’s all that matters.” He gave her a short reply and dig into his meal unhurriedly..

 

Annabelle had almost finished half of the plate so seeing him eat like a f*cking demi god while smelling of riches , maybe she could still the golden tie clip on his tie or his Rolex watch..

 

She could sell them at a good price and keep the money to herself..

 

“Is it love at first sight? Stop trying to convince me because I don’t like you, you’re not my type. I only attended this blind date because I didn’t have a choice..” she wished she could wipe that smirk off his face…

 

The coldness emitting from his body was enough to keep their drinks cold so she couldn’t understand why he has a proud smirk plastered on his face…

 

“What is love? Is that some kind of phrase used during conversations or what?  Plus what’s there not to like about me? I’m handsome, beautiful, cute, energetic, a fashionista and super rich. So tell me what’s there not to like about?” Anna almost had an outburst listening to him praise himself always…

 

And just as she has read in the tabloids.. Lucas Caine is not only the devil but also doesn’t know what Love means..

 

“Argh! You’re so persistent!”
