Episode 45

AUTHORESS P.O.V

“Little pretty Sophia your mum and Dad are fine,” Brittany said with a smile.

“Don’t tell me that, I heard what you guys said now, where’s he? I want to see him” Sophia said and burst into tears.

“I hate seeing tears, anyway I’ll take you there, but I need to take my bath and prepare breakfast before going back,” Brittany said.

“I’ve prepared breakfast already,” Nadia said. “Wow, will it be enough for all of us?” Brittany asked.

“Sure it will” Nadia replied.

“I need to go freshen up then,” Brittany said and stood up from the chair.

“You also need to freshen up, because you can’t go to the hospital with a dirty body,” Nadia’s said and Sophia nod her head.

“Aunty I don’t have any new cloth,” Sophia said. “Shît I’ve forgotten!” Nadia’s replied.

“Worry not Emma ordered some clothes for her yesterday night, it will be here soon,” Brittany said.

“I love mum” Sophia muttered to herself.

“So did you wanna bath now?” Nadia asked. “Sure I need to see my parents” Sophia replied.

“Can we go in now?” One of the cops asked. Dora bites her lips hard thinking of how to escape from the cops.

“Yes, you guys can go in, I’ll wait for you guys here” Dora replied with a smile.

“No we are going inside together” the cop replied.

“You’re searching the house not me, so you guys should do your Job” Dora replied.

“You need to go inside with us before we manhandle you,” one of the cops said.

“I know my right, so you guys can’t manhandle me” Dora replied with a smile.

Their boss picks up his phone and dials a number.

“Come down from the vehicle this lady is proving stubborn” “Alright I’ll be right there” The person replied. “Drag her inside!” One of the cops said and the female cop carried her to the room.

They locked the door and began to search the room.

“I can’t find anything, sir!” One of the cops said. “Search her bags!” Their leader said.

“I found a gun, sir!” He said and their leader smile out. “Madam where’s the license for this gun?” Their leader said.

“The gun isn’t mine” Dora replied with an eye roll.

“Alright you’ll provide the owner when we get to our station,” their leader said.

“Sir I found this too” “Wait, drug! Drag her out” Their leader said. “What! The drug I don’t do drugs” Dora shouted.

The cops get inside Steve’s house and look around.

“He’s the only one here!” The cop said looking around.

“I think he’s dèàd!” One of the cops replied. “Let’s rush her to the hospital, he will explain what happened to him later,” one of the cops said and they carry him out. “Sir I saw something in his room” one of the cops said.

Rowen opened his eyes and look around in disdain.

“Austin!” He shouted and stood up from the bed immediately.

“Relax Austin is fine” Emma replied with a smile. “Emma!” Rowen called.

“Yes baby, you scared me don’t try it again,” Emma said with a frown.

“How long have I been here? Where’s Austin?” Rowen ask.

“You almost get yourself kîll, you’ve been here since yesterday night” Emma replied.

“What where’s Austin?” Rowen ask.

“Aren’t you happy to see me? You’re here shouting Austin” Emma said with a frown.

“I’m sorry I just wanna be sure Austin is fine” Rowen replied.

“I’m fine we both have bandages on our heads, baby,” Austin said and sat down on a chair. “Hope you’re fine?” Rowen ask.

“Sure I should be asking you that, you almost get yourself kîll, we look good together, we both have bandages on our heads,” Austin said with a smile.

“I love you, bro,” Rowen said and hug Austin himself. “I’m feeling emotional, Austin don’t blush please” Austin replied and hug Rowen back and Emma hissed out loud.

“Don’t be jèàlóûs baby, you’re my world I love you” Rowen said with a smile.

“But you choose Austin over me” Emma replied.

“Common, Austin almost die for me, but how did I end up here?” Rowen ask and Austin explained everything to him.

And then what happened yesterday rushed to his head.

“Oh I was about to get the CCTV footage of the person that sh00t Austin,” Rowen said.

“Aww you can do anything for me, baby,” Austin said. “I’m going back to Chicago tomorrow or next” Rowen said.

“Why it’s too early” Emma replied.

“I ran away from the house because of the pressure, I’m fine now it’s high time I go back and I don’t even know who’s after my life, we are leaving including you Emma” Rowen replied.

“I pray my parents to accept you most especially my mother because she wants me to get married to her friend’s son,” Emma said.

“Don’t worry she will like me” Rowen said and pecked Emma on her cheek.

“It’s funny how my kids wake you up,” Emma said with a smirk.

“A kîss?” Rowen asks with a frown.

“You sneezed out immediately I peck you,” Emma said.

“I can’t believe this” Rowen said. “I was also surprised, you betrayed me, Rowen,” Austin said.

“Good for you, he’s mine so back off,” Emma said.

“Someone is jèàlóûs of me,” Austin said. “Jèàlóûs of someone like you?” Emma asked with a frown.

“Dad!” Sophia shouted and rushed to hug Rowen.

“I was very scared when I didn’t see you mum,” Sophia said and also hug Emma.

“Why did you tell her?” Emma asked Brittany with a frown. “I didn’t she figured it out herself” Brittany replied.

“I haven’t forgotten my kîss,” Austin said. “Get lost,” Brittany said.

“I’m very sure you mean the other way,” Austin said with a smile.

“But who did you think is after your life?” Austin asked. “I think I know the person,” someone said coming inside the ward.

“I’m here now, what did you’ve to say?” Vera asked Stanley.

“I’m sorry” Stanley muttered. “I can’t hear you” Vera replied. “I’m very sorry,” Stanley said. “What are you sorry for?” Vera asked.
