EPILOGUE

 

EMMA P.O.V

Looking at the crowd and the man in my front. Tears of joy drop freely from mh eyes. Rowen was busy begging me with his eyes not to say no, I dare not say no, who am I to say no, Rowen has become a better part of me that I can’t do without, I was just surprised how fast he’s.

“Yes I’ll marry you Rowen Hunt” I said and he breathe out in relief before putting the ring on my middle finger.

“I love you, thank you for accepting me” Rowen said happily.

“Why won’t I, who won’t accept an handsome guy like you, I’ll be the one to thank you for accepting me for who I am” I replied.

“You’re everyman dream woman but I got you” Rowen said with a smile and face the crowd.

“Hello everyone, Emma is mine and mine alone” Rowen shouted. “Congratulations Miss Maxwell” Nadia said and rushed to my side. “How did you get here?” I asked surprised.

“I did I called her and I also brought your daughter” Brittany replied.

“A big Congratulations to you mum” Sophia said and hug me, I can feel happiness in her word.

“Thanks very much my beautiful sweet daughter” I replied and she blushed hard. “I will still punish you for calling me Miss Maxwell” I said to Nadia and she left out a smirk.

“ Congratulations Miss Maxwell” Nadia boyfriend said, if I am not mistakenly.

“Thank you very much Mr” I replied.

“He’s my boyfriend have you forgotten him?” Nadia asked.

“No I didn’t, looking closely at you both I can see you both are compatible” I replied.

“Thanks Miss Maxwell” the guy replied. “Congratulations daughter” Mr Hunt said.

I don’t need a soothsayer to tell me that, he’s Mr Hunt Brittany look exactly like him.

“That’s my Dad” Rowen whispered, oh my he’s fûcking handsome.

“Thanks very much Mr Hunt” I replied.

“I don’t like the sound of that” Mr Hunt replied. “Thank you very much dad” I replied with a smile.

“Mr Maxwell you’re also here?” I asked pretending to be surprised.

“Yes Miss Maxwell, I never wanted to come but they forced me so I don’t have a choice than to come” Dad replied with a frown.

“Lies” mum said. I know he’s lieing.

“We need to party all night, let leave here” Rowen said that’s when it dawn on me that we are still in Leo house.

Five months later.

“Hey will you sit your àss out and let the makeup artist do his job” Brittany yelled looking at the expensive ring in her middle finger.

Austin actually proposed to her yesterday and she has been checking out her ring like a new born baby since then.

“Don’t shout at me” I replied. “I am your sis in law I don’t want you to keep my big bro waiting” Brittany replied and I sat down immediately.

“Oh my you’re looking beautiful, you look like an angel” Nadia shouted immediately she walked inside the room.

“Thanks very much,” I replied looking at myself in the mirror. “Congratulations once again” Dora said coming in with her twin sister.

You might be surprised why she’s here. Leo confessed to the police that he was the one that sent assassins to sh00t Rowen, so we don’t have a choice than to help Dora and Steve out.

Dora later apologize to us and she has been a good friend since then with her identical twins, the only different between them is their voice.

Stanley got married to Vera two months ago and I am not sure they can make it to my wedding.

“It’s time to go out, your groom is waiting for you in the church” Brittany said and I stood up immediately.

“Hope I look good?” I asked. “You look breathe taking” Dora replied and cover my face with the vein.

Brittany hold my hand and lead me out of the room and other follow.

“Are you feeling nervous?” Brittany asked.

“Yes I am” I replied. “You don’t have to be nervous, today is your happy day” Brittany replied.

The driver open the car door immediately she saw us. We get inside the car and the driver drove off.

Walking inside the church I saw Rowen standing with Austin, Stanley, Jayden and Ray on the altar.

Dad walked to me and hold my hand.

“Miss Maxwell is finally turning to Mrs Hunt” he said and I smile at him.

Dad took me to where Rowen and his friends are and hand me over to Rowen.

“Take care of my daughter” Dad said and walked away. Rowen keep smiling at me.

The priest clear his throat and moved closer to us. “It’s time to take the vow” he said.

“Speak after me!” The priest said to me and I nody head.

“I Emma Maxwell take you to be my husband and I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad, in sickness and in wealth” The priest said and I saw after him follow by Rowen.

“You may now kiss your bribe” The priest said, Rowen raised my vein up and kiss me hungrily.

I don’t believe in happily ever after, but see me now, I’m happily married with the love of my life. Don’t give up, believe you can be anything you want to be with handwork. Don’t ever give up on love and don’t get tired of dreaming, don’t just dream work towards your dream. Love is a very strong and beautiful thing, Don’t give up on love easily, the right person for you will surely come for you, love is a very beat thing when you’re with the right person. Independent ladies rule the world, try that be independent.

Don’t destroy your future with your present, because your past can come back hurting you, many people might not be lucky as I am. Thank goodness I have a understanding husband and good mother in-law, what else will I ask for, we are have stopped kissing now.

We are snapping pictures with family and friends, but my daughter come first. Yes Sophia remain my first child, I am lucky to have a beautiful and intelligent girl like her as a child.
