CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX

 

When she refused to look at him he forcefully kissed her lips even though she was trying to get away from him.

“Keep struggling and I might just go beyond kissing.” He threatened and she immediately stopped struggling.

“Be a good girl and eat else I’m gonna spank you pretty bad.” He whispered into her ear and got off just in time a knock landed on the door and a maid walked in with a tray of food and also her medication.

He took the tray from the maid and went back to Gabby who sat on the bed with her legs folded against each other.

“I told you I’m not hungry okay? Just leave that there.” She threw a tantrum but He ignored and moved closer to her .

He was obviously planning on feeding her.

“Open up little bug.” He brought a spoonful of fried rice to her lips urging Her to open up.

“I can feed me myself you don’t have to bother.” She objected but he still forcefully shoved the spoon into her mouth.

She had no options but let him feed her.

And that was when went on till she’d almost emptied the bowl of rice.

“Are you planning on feeding me to death?”she rolled her eyes and asked for a glass of water and he handed it over without saying a word.

Once he was sure she’d taken her drugs too he got off the bed ready to leave but Gabby held onto to his shirt reluctantly.

“Where are you going?” She asked.

“I’ve a company to run.. let go.” He growled but Gabby was determined to talk to him.

She admits she still holds a grudge against him and her family.

She’s still angry he was only trying to use her.

“Stop avoiding me like a plague Mr Xavier and seat down let’s have a heart to heart discussion.” She was surprised by the sudden confidence.

He looked at her with an expressionless face making her wonder what he was actually thinking about.

“Make it quick.” He sounded impatient and sat down on the bedside.

Gabby hesitated before speaking for she understands this was a really sensitive topic for both of them.

“Why do you hate that man so much?” She asked hoping to get an answer from him but her disappointment he only stood up unhurriedly.

“It’s none of your business.” He walked away but this time Gabby wasn’t gonna give up so she chased after him and held onto his sleeve.

“Well it became my business the very day you decided to marry me.” She knew he was a hard nut to crack and she wasn’t gonna stop until she’d gotten what she wanted.

“Let go.” He groan but she was bent on getting the truth outta him.

“No I won’t let go.. not until you answer me.” She glared and he heaved a sigh trying to control himself.

Gabrielle was driving him crazy every single second spent with her.

“Stop acting childish and let go.” His eyes darken as he stared at her but she wasn’t intimidated by his dangerous looks at all.

“No you’re the childish one all red about rev-” he pinned against the wall with her hands held captive above her head.

 

“You wanna know what you’re daddy dearest did to make me hate him? Fine I’ll tell you how your daddy dearest killed my entire family.”

 

“I-”

“I lost every single person close to my heart and made me into the monster that I’m today.” His voice shook as his words took him down to memory lane that tragic night was still fresh in his memory.

“I’m so-”

“You think you’ve the right to judge me miss goody two shoes but you don’t even have the slightest idea of what I’ve been through. Every single day I learn to be stronger waiting for the day I would finally ki*ll him with my bare hands and trust me I would make you’re on the front seat.” He gritted his teeth as his body shook in anger.

Gabrielle was beyond heartbroken, she didn’t know the right words to say as a lone tear rolled down her cheek.

“I’m so sorry.” It barely came out in a whisper.

“I don’t need your pity.. he broke me first and I’m gonna break him in every possible ways.” He let go of her and walked away with a murderous aura surrounding him.

Gabby’s legs gave away and she fell to the cold floor in tears.
