CHAPTER SIXTEEN.

The ray of sunshine piercing through the white silky curtains woke Gabrielle from her wonder land as she yawn loudly and pushed the duvet cover off her body and got off the bed.

She finally looked around the master bedroom with a minimalist setting.

“Eew.” She shrugged her shoulder and walked towards the bathroom for a quick shower.

After a nice warm bath she went through his closet and couldn’t find anything of hers to wear so she found a very big hoodie big enough to cover her thigh and went downstairs stairs for breakfast.

“Good morning Godvric.” She greeted the butler politely while walking towards the dining room.

“Good morning Madam.” He bowed slightly with a smile plastered on his face.

“By the way, is your boss coming home today?” She asked cautiously.

Godvric being asked such question by the boss’s wife felt awkward.

“Well he doesn’t say when he’s coming home but you can as well give him a call you know?” He answered politely and Gabby only nodded like she understood what he was saying and headed towards the dining room to have breakfast.

Today she was gonna look for her best friend, Kathy. She needed to speak to her for she tends to worried most times.

She quietly savor the taste of beacons pancakes and egg sauce. The great thing about Xavier’s mansion was the chief who makes excellent dishes, everything top-notch.

After a heart felt breakfast she rushed back upstairs to put on something cozy.

Once dressed she rushed back downstairs and found Godvric standing by the main entrance.

“Ehm Godvric I’m stepping out to see my friend whose sick.” She lied with a straight face but surprisingly Godvric didn’t try to stop and only opened the doors for her respectfully.

Gabrielle walked around the compound in awe as she admired the beautiful statue of a mermaid.

It was indeed beautiful and eye catching. She was surprised to find a limited edition Maybach waiting for her.

“Where to ma’am?” The chauffeur opened the backseat door politely.

“Blue heaven thank you.” Gabrielle got into the car and the driver turned on the ignition before driving outta the estate gates.

Gabrielle was honestly surprised The devil was letting her outta the estate even though she could try to escape.

Gabby heaved a sigh and decided to give him a call and thank him.

She dialed his number and he picked up after the third ring.

“Hello?” She spoke chewing on her fingernails.

“Yes?” He was rather rude and Gabby could only rolled her eyes dramatically.

“Are you busy?” She asked for she could hear muffling sounds at the background.

“Yes why?” He mumbled softly.

“Oh I just wanna say thank you for letting me take your car.” She scoffed quietly.

“Don’t scrap my car it’s way expensive than those cheap skates your father owns.” He scolded her seriously..

Gabrielle didn’t know whether to laugh or cry at his statement.

‘like who the hell is this dude?’ she cursed inwardly but decided to be polite simply because he’s letting her use his car.

“I can’t promise I won’t though , bye betch!” She hung up right before he clap back.

The driver could only shake his head as he listened to his boss and boss lady argue like kids.

Lord Williams on the other hand kept glaring daggers at his phone.

Right now he was at a lunch meeting with a few representative from A&A inc.

The three men could only hold their breaths as they watched his mood changed from normal to pissed.

He looked like a pissed god of hell.

“Did she just hang up on me?” He asked nobody in particular and the three men didn’t know how to answer his question without adding salt to his injury.

“Maybe there wasn’t a reception at her location.” George tried to ease his mood but he ended up adding salt.

“How dare she hang up on me!” He said in between gritted teeth.

George could only try to make himself less visible to avoid incurring the wrath of an angry Lion.

Lord Williams banged his fist on the table starling every single one of them including the waiters around them.

They were most especially shocked outta their wits as he stood up immediately and slung his windbreaker on his shoulder and walked outta the restaurant like the proud demi god he was.

“Uh oh..” George said a silent prayer for the lady boss.
