Justin’s p.o.v

“YOU SON OF A….”,

My phone rang interrupting my sentences.

It was Peter.

I hope he has good news.

” yes, are you able to find him?”

“I got the location! He is thirty minutes away from your location” peter confirmed.

“Send me the adress now!”.

I ran outside leaving kayden behind.

I hit the accelerator increasing the speed to the fullest.

My mind was spinning.

I had so many thoughts in my mind.

FLASH BACK

“What are you doing, Justin? Eat these noodles” Manuel grabbed the documents out of my hands.

“Aahhh buddy! I need to look into this matter. it’s getting out of hands”, I said annoyingly as manuel sat down grabbing the fork.

“say AAAA”, he stuffed the noodles in my mouth while keeping his face straight.

“I have already handled it Justin… No traces left… Leave all this sensitive police work to me” Manuel said feeding me as my eyes widened.

“Why do you always do these risky tasks by your own self?”, I asked as Manuel looked towards me lovingly.

“So you know why I can’t quit this crap?.. It’s to protect my family…To protect you… I can risk my life for you”, he smiled making me smile as we bumped the fists.

END OF FLASH BACK

I clenched my teeth as I reached in an abandoned mall building.

I looked at my wristwatch.

Only 4 minutes left..

I got out searching around anxiously immediately.

I have got little time.

I must save Manuel on time!

My eyes averted towards the roof.

“No….Noooo!!!!”

My eyes widened as I saw Manuel almost hanging from the roof top of the mall.

I sprinted inside in a blink of an eye.

As fast as a flash.

Climbing the stairs I darted towards the roof.

“Manuel!!!!”, I shouted but some of kayden men appeared out of no where triyng to attack me.

I dodged them as I kicked them breaking their necks with my bare hands.

I will do anything to save my best friend

I don’t care the bones I have to break just to save him.

Hang in there Manuel, I’m coming to save you.

As I was about to ki*ll the last man, I saw Manuel.

His hands were tied from the cord as it was the only way he was still hanging.

I kicked the man away leaving him as I rushed towards him.

“JUSSTTTINN!!!!” Manuel called out.

I stopped as I saw another man behind me.

He had a knife in his hands.

“Your time is up”.

It’s too late.

He cut the rope.

No, Manuel.

” noooooooooooo”

I had no time to think.

I dashed quickly as Manuel was falling down.

I quickly grabbed the rope as I was half hanging from the roof.

“Manuel!!!”, I shouted while trying to pull the thick cord up.

Hang in there Manuel, nothing must happen to you.

It was cutting through the palms of my hand but I didn’t care.
I’m not ready to loose a friend who have been with me through thick and thin.
