Chapter 32

Wulfgur fell on his knees seeing the flicking red orb in Lun. Is this a punishment? He thought.
Ma Grace got up from the bed seeing the king on his knees. What was that about? What’s happening exactly? She’s been trying to understand every single thing Wulfgur had told her and there’s another one? What just happened to have made the king in this position?

“My King, are you alright? Did you see something?” She asked, looming back at Lun to see if she could see anything but she didn’t.

She’s just a human. She can’t see what a being like Wulfgur saw. She turned back and stared at the King’ sad face.
“Is she going to die?” She questioned. At least the king should say something. It’s really killing her inside. He’s not talking and she’s very worried like how a mother should worry for her own son.

“I’m okay.” He finally talked. “I will be expecting some visitors from the heaven. I might not come back. Today. Tomorrow and anymore.” He added.

“Why are you talking like? You’re making this old woman in front of you scared. Are you going to die? Is there any danger coming after you? Who are these visitors coming from heaven? Is Lun connected to all this too?” Ma Grace rushed him with so many questions that he sighed before answering them one after the other.

 

“I’m not going to die. I will just be away for a while. It’s going to look like a punishment from heaven. You can’t understand, Ma Grace. But whatever happens now, don’t worry too much. I will be fine. I will come back. With Lun.” He told her.

With Lun? Is Lun going up there to receive the what so called punishment too? What the…….confused, confused and confused as hell. Yes, she can’t understand. She really can’t.

“Is Lun going……….” She stopped when they both heard a knock on the door.
“Yes?” Ma Grace answered.

“Some visitors who said they are from the heaven are here to see the King.” Someone said from the outside.
The heaven? It’s really true?

Ma Grace turned to Wulfgur and almost had tears in her eyes.
“Where are they you to, My Lord?” She finally cried. “I still can’t understand what’s happening but will you be safe? And Lun?”

Yes, and Lun. She’s the King’s mate. She had to care for her too.
“I will be fine. Just think of it as if I went on a trip.” Wulfgur smiled at her and hugged her.
Gosh! This situation looks like he’s going to die or leave them permanently and he’s bidding them a sad goodbye. That he won’t be back anymore. But that’s not true. He will surely come back to them no matter what.
And with Lun. He won’t allow the King Zeus to take her away from him.

They both disengaged from the hug and got up to carry Lun from the bed. The door opened itself and he walked out.

Everyone was silent, seeing the king walking like he was going to die as he carried Lun. Wulfgur saw the visitors waiting outside and he smiled to himself.

“I’ve been waiting for you” He told them still with the smile.
“The King Zeus sent us to bring you along with us and the human having his orb.” One of them answered.

 

“We are set. The two of us as you can see. Let’s go.” Wulfgur turned back to see Ma Grace walking out too. “Take care of the palace for me. I will be back.” He told them and them disappeared with visitors.
