Chapter 27

Selene watched them as the three made their way home and she shook her head.
“It’s so easy to get your immortality back.” She mumbled to herself and bent down to take her basket. She needed Wulfgur’s mate to confirm something from her.
Is she the new moon goddess after her? Maybe. Just maybe. The fact that she could carry the orb without her feeling any pain. She remembered Kate who also had the orb in her but she wasn’t in the moon goddess clan. The orb had absorbed all her energy and gave her pain all over till she died. She was so dear to her.

“Are you sure of what you’re saying?Why do i feel like she needed the orb for protection?” Thanos spoke, glancing at Wulfgur. But Luciano disagreed.
“And why do i feel like that she’s not greedy for the orb. I kind of trust her. So, don’t worry.” Luciano assured.
Wulfgur didn’t say anything until they all got to the car and made their way back to the palace.
“I changed my mind. I need to see Lun.” He said stopping in front of the palace gate. The guards were already there to receive him and his ministers already gathered outside too.
“Why? I guess your ministers have something to say to you. Are you avoiding them?” Luciano chuckled after that.
Wulfgur glared at him. “I’m not avoiding them, okay? I just want to see her at least. I already missed her face.” He said truthfully.
“See the ministers first before going to see your love.” Thanos grinned and patted his shoulder before pushing him forward gently to the front.
Wulfgur went in with the ministers reluctantly while Thanos and Luciano left the palace.
“My King, we’ve been looking for you? You didn’t take the guards with you.” Minister Josiah was the first to talk.
“Are you worried about me, Minister Josiah?” Wulfgur turned to him immediately he sat on his throne.
“Well, yes. We need to be worried about the king’s whereabout.” The short old man answered.
“Thank you for worrying but as you can see , I’m fine now.” Wulfgur replied with raised brows. “What is it that you all want, that you have to wait for me till i arrive? I’m sure this isn’t the time that we do meet except there’s something important i wish to discuss with you. Any problem?”
“Uhmm……We heard the some men from the jade emperor in China came search the palace looking an orb. Secondly, it’s not really that important but we need to keep reminding you. We need a queen.” The prime minister spoke for them all.
As expected, the king was silent, and it had to be for some minutes. Did that made him angry? Did he talk too much? The prime minister was afraid of what he just spilled out.
“To the first one, I will say it’s nothing to be worried about. They didn’t really find anything in palace. And to the second question, like i said, I’m really going to find a mate soon. She will be hear soon.”
“So, are you saying, we will be having a queen soon? And then the orb, i heard they perceived it strongly here and they could it? That’s surprising.” The minister mumbled but Wulfgur heard him clearly.
“Is that why you all gathered here? Waiting for me?” Wulfgur almost glared at them. If he knew this was what they were going say, he wouldn’t bother to go inside with them and hear what they were about to say. He would have gone to see Lun first before sitting to hear them talk.
“Yes, uhmm…”
“The Russians, select four people among you that will go and visit them. I already accept their offer. They have the right to price it but must not be less than millions.” He told them and they all nodded and bowed down their head.
“As you wish, your majesty” They chorused.
“You all can go. I still have somewhere to go.” He got up from his throne and walked to his room to change his royal cloth to a simple one. He wore a black face cap and walked out of his room.
“My king.” Ma Grace’s voice stopped him and he turned.
Wulfgur bit his lower lips and smiled at her. ” I have to go somewhere, Ma Grace.” Wulfgur whispered at her. The woman understood but she still wanted to ask where exactly where he’s going to. “Where are you going?”
“You don’t have to know.” He responded.
“I have to know so if anything happens, i will know where to find you. Where?” She glared at him.
“Alright, I will tell you when i’m back.”
“And i said no.”
“Fine! I will tell you but don’t be shocked and don’t ask me any question. Plus, it must be kept a secret.”
“What kind of secret is that?” The woman looked kind of confused.
“Lun won’t be staying here as the orb of the moon goddess is in her body. And she’s…..” Wulfgur was interrupted by the woman.
“Did you just she again? And the orb is in Lun’s body? How come?”
“I will tell you when I’m back like i said.” Wulfgur smiled and left in a rush leaving the old woman dumbfounded.
