Lan smiled at melissa while she returned the fake smile.
Tyler grabbed a hold of lan’s shoulder and pushed him out from between them.

“Calm down man, am not snatching your wife”Lan said and tyler glared at him.
“I never said your snatching my wife”Tyler said as they got to the car.

He opened the car door for melissa and melissa entered while he sat on the driver’s seat and ignited the engine.
“See you at work tomorrow”Tyler said and drove away.

🍷🍷AT TYLER’S MANSION🍷🍷

Immediately they entered the sitting room, the both of them fell on the couch at the same time tiredly.
Tyler took half of the long couch and melissa took half.

“Go to the other couch, i laid down here before you”Melissa said and tyler scoffed.
“As i can remember, this is my house”Tyler said and melissa pushed him off the couch.

“This is my house too because we are legally married” Melissa said but frowned when her own words thirst bitter in her mouth….legally?, nope they were illegally married but is it a bad thing to chase the man you love?.

“Go and change first, the bedroom is there,”Tyler said as he laid down on the side he was before.
“You know what?,you take that side, i will take this side” Melissa said and closed her eyes.

Of course, they really stayed long in the orphanage so she was damn tired.

💍SOME HOURS LATER💍

🍷That same night 09:45 pm🍷

Melissa turned and felt a strong cologne hit her hard, she immediately recognized it…Mint and coconut.
It was tyler’s.

She opened her eyes and it located his handsome face, he was so damn hot and looked like an angel when asleep.
Their face was impossibly close, it just needs 2 inches more for their lips to collide.

It wouldn’t be a bad thing kissing her crush of course..
Tyler opened his eyes to see melissa staring at him, wait, when did they….

His ears flushed in embarrassment when he found out that his hands were holding her a$$ tightly.
“Am sorry, that was a mistake”Tyler said and stood up before wearing his flip flops and walking away.

Melissa stared at his retreating figure with a sigh, she wished she didn’t go through the hardest part of life, if she didn’t then she would know how to make him fall in love with her without forcing a marriage..

Though she married him for two things, money and the most important is love, she had always loved him.
When she married him, she found out something, she never married tyler for money…..

She is scared that the reason she married tyler which is because she loves him, she can never receive the same love from him.

Melissa walked to her room and closed the door, she brought out her laptop and deleted Tyler’s secret (It will be revealed later).

She did the same on her other phones then she wiped her trails before dropping them back.

She knew from the beginning that love is not for her, her dad never loved her, he even sold her to a group of gang that uses people as their s3x slave but she escaped through the help of her amazing martial skills.

If her dad didn’t love her then there is 2% hope that tyler will love her.
She stood up and opened the door walking back to the sitting room.

Tyler was sitting there watching a movie, a horror one actually.
Melissa sat next to him, she wasn’t scared like how some stupid heroine in some movies do.

“Can you watch horror movies, aren’t you scared”Tyler asked and she scoffed.
“Nope”Melissa said

Suddenly tyler’s phone began to ring, and the caller ID was described as ‘baby’ with love emoji which got melissa angry and jealous at the same time.

📞Hello.

📞Chocolate, you promised to meet me today.

📞Am sorry i was busy at the orphanage, maybe tomorrow.

📞Ok, bye.

As melissa was hearing all these, she was burning in rage, who is that lady that called huh?
And the fact that she called him chocolate.

“Melissa, i would be right back, i need to visit someone”Tyler said and wore his blue sweater.

He grabbed his phone and walked away, immediately he wasn’t seen again, she wore her flip flops and followed him.
She watched as he walked out of the mansion without a car…something that tyler will never do.

She ran after him but stopped when she didn’t see him again, she stood there looking around….did he just disappear or what?.

Soon rain began to pour out of the sky, she was about to turn and leave when she suddenly felt herself being shilded from the rain.
She looked up and it was tyler, he used an umbrella to shield her from the rain.

Tyler brought out his phone and tap something before showing her a picture of a little girl holding a balloon, it was inscribed ‘baby’ with the love emoji.
Looks like tyler really love kids while melissa sees them as noise..

“Next time, ask me who the girl is before following me”Tyler said as melissa took the umbrella and they walked back to the mansion.

Tyler removed his wet clothes and his trouser remaining his boxers, melissa flushed seeing his muscular chest…damn him for being so hot.

Melissa turned to leave his room but tyler held her hand.
“You can stay that is if you want”Tyler said and laid down.
Melissa laid beside him and closed her eyes falling into deep slumber.

NEXT DAY

Melissa woke up and did breakfast by exact 07:00 am.
Tyler sat on the bed with his files scattered on the bed as he began to sign them, melissa came in.

“Uhmmm…i made breakfast….”Melissa said and tyler nodded.
“I would be there”Tyler said and she walked away.
Tyler stared at her retreating figure, she is really confusing, in the begining she acted like a villian.

And now acting like a…..
Is this really how she is or she is just pretending.
“If she isn’t pretending then i would have to change her, being a gangster isn’t good”Tyler thought as he took a box and walked downstairs.

Immediately, he reached where she was, he dropped the box in front of her.
“Change into this and follow me to my company”Tyler said
“But….
“No buts, is better than hacking and doing illegal activities”Tyler added
“Am waiting for you outside”Tyler said and walked away.
Melissa sighed and grabbed the box walking upstairs.
