“Mum your husband is awake, he is just pretending” Adele said.

“You mean he’s awake?” Mrs Clerk asked. “Sure he’s, he is just pretending” Adele replied.

“Clerk!” Mrs Clerk called and Mr Clerk opened his eyes immediately.

He looked around and his eyes landed on Nathan.

He covered his eyes with his eyes.

“I’m very sorry Nancy” he said and his hand still covering his face and Nathan scoff out.

“Am very sure, you’re sorry because of what happened to you, you aren’t genuinely sorry” Nathan said and Mr Clerk removed his hand from his face.

“I mean it, am very sorry, I know I don’t deserve you guys forgiveness, but I will like you can forgive me, you’re a good woman but I’m too blind and foolish to see that, you can decide to leave me alone in this condition, but please forgive me, because I truly need your forgiveness,” Mr Clerk said.

“You didn’t offend me, I’m happy you’re back there your senses” Mrs Clerk said.

“Does that mean you have forgiven me?” Mr Clerk asked.

“Sure I have forgiven you a long time ago” Mrs Clerk replied and Mr Clerk manage to it down straight on the bed.

“Can I hug you?” Mr Clerk asked.

“Sure you can” Mrs Clerk replied with a smile and Mr Clerk hugged her immediately sniffing bet cloth.

He disengage from the hug and looked at Adele.

“My daughter!” Mr Clerk said and Adele roll her eyes at her.

“I’m not your daughter, I will talk if your wife can’t talk, Mr Clerk you aren’t a good man” Adele said.

“Adele I know, I’m I have been a bad father to you, but please find a place in your heart to forgive me” Mr Clerk said.

“Anyway, my forgiveness isn’t for free, you will have to pay for it” Adele said dramatically.

“Adele!” Mrs Clerk called.

“Don’t call me mum,” Adele replied.

“Alright I will give you anything you want, so how much did you need?” Mr Clerk asked and Adele does some thinking.

“You will give me all the money you sell in your restaurant tomorrow” Adele replied.

“That’s much!” Mrs Clerk said.

“It’s not, Mr Clerk deal or no deal?” Adele asked.

“Deal!” Mr Clerk replied with a smile.

“Come and hug me baby” Adele said and rushed to hug Mr Clerk.

“I now feel like a complete man” Mr Clerk said. “I have a good news for you” Mrs Clerk said and rest her head on his chest.

“what’s the good news all about?” Mr Clerk asked with a smile.

“Here!” Mrs Clerk said pointing to Steve.

“Adele boyfriend, what happened to him?” Mr Clerk asked.

“He is our son?” Mrs Clerk replied.

“Our son as how? Which son are you talking about?” Mr Clerk asked.

“Our dead son, but he’s not dead” Mrs Clerk replied.

“Did he resurrect? because I don’t get” Mr Clerk asked.

“he isn’t dead, doctor lied to us” Mrs Clerk replied.

“What! That bàstàrd” Mr Clerk said angrily. “Yeah, he gave our son to his sister” Mrs Clerk replied.

“What rubbish, that man need to be deal with” Mr Clerk said.

“Yes he’s already in Nathan custody” Mrs Clerk replied.

“Why will you call him by his name? Did you want him to punish you?” Mr Clerk whispered to his wife and Mrs Clerk burst into laughter.

“He is my son, he can’t do anything to me” Mrs Clerk replied.

“Are you sure?” Mr Clerk asked surprised. “Nathan!” Mrs Clerk called.

“Ma’am” Nathan replied with a smile and Mr Clerk opened his mouth in shocked.

“What are you two talking about?” Adele asked. “Must you know” Mrs Clerk replied and hugged Mr Clerk to herself.

“My beautiful wife” Mr Clerk said and Adele clear her throat.

“Stop giving me that look, I’m now a change person” Mr Clerk said and Adele scoff out loud. “time will tell” Adele replied.

“Don’t you believe me!” Mr Clerk asked.

“am I crazy to believe someone like you” Adele said.

“Don’t worry I will surprise you” Mr Clerk said with a smile.

“Yeah, my husband will surprise you” Mrs Clerk replied.

“This is heartbreaking” Steve said and burst into fake tears and Mrs Clerk rushed to his side.

“What happened my dear?” Mrs Clerk asked and Adele opened her mouth in shocked.

“Your husband doesn’t love me” Steve replied. “How?” Mrs Clerk asked.

“He didn’t tell me to come hug him” Steve said. “Same here!” Claire replied.

“Gush! I’m a bad father!” Mr Clerk said. “Now you know,” Adele said and Mr Clerk roll his eyes at her.

“Son come through Daddy” Mr Clerk said and Steve rushed to him.

“They aren’t different from each other, bunch of pretenders,” Adele said.

“Are you jèàlóûs of them, I can hug you if you want” Nathan said with a boylish grin.

“you said?” Adele asked with a smirk.

“Excuse me, Miss Claire can I see you for some minutes” doctor Collins said.

“Sure!” Claire replied and stood up.

“No she has to hug me before going” Mr Clerk said and Claire smile happily before rushing to hug him.

“I hope you forgive me my dear” Mr Clerk said. “I have forgiven me, hope you now accept you are my Dad?” Claire asked.

“Sure I’m!” Mr Clerk replied pulling her cheek. “I will be right back!” Claire said and rushed out.

“I think I ask a question?” Adele asked and faced Nathan.

“To be frank with you, I’m tired of everything, I wish I can just run far away from this place” Collins replied.

“That’s not possible, you can’t run away from two powerful men’s and remember Mr O’Brien is more powerful, how I wish you have listened to me, I will hs e helped you out and master Won’t found you” Andie said.

“I’m sorry, can you help me out now?” Collins asked.

“It’s too late my dear, I can’t help you out, face the consequences, I pray you come out of the mess you put yourself” Andie said and walked away.
