Chapter 5
He carried Lun to the car and ordered a few soldiers to watch and protect his mate. Wulfgur stood in the direction where the bullets came from and narrowed his eyes, scanning, and sensing everywhere clearly from afar.

“There you are.” He smiled seeing one of the hunters with a big weapon loaded with silver bullets by the sight. Another one came to join him with a bow and silver arrows.

They really planned to take him down today but that won’t be possible.

“Sir, I can sense them. They are quite near here.” An army from the palace spoke as he stood beside the King.

“I know. They are in that direction.” He made a move towards the direction but stopped and turned to look at the car where Lun was. Is he going to leave weak Lun and fight these hunters which will be bloodly.

He stepped back again. “Let everyone into the car. Get to the Beast Kingdom as soon as possible. I will follow you behind.I want those hunters’ attention on me only.” He said to the royal army.

The man was a little surprised but obeyed the king’s command.

Soon, the two hundred of armies were moving away from the scene leaving their King alone.

King Wulgur sighed and stepped forward as soon as the sight of the armies couldn’t be seen. He tilted his head and said,

“I know you’re there but it would be better if you come out rather than me finding you.”

Silence.

He smiled and began to walk closer to the woods. His eyes are directly on the two hunters. He could see the shock on their face. Wulgur knew they are new in this.

The one with the bow set the arrow to it and tried to sh00t Wulgur with it but he dodged it in a swift. He grinned evilly and continued walking towards them.

He’d reach them very soon. He was walking as if he was running. Walking beautifully and majestically.
The one with the gun sh00t also but Wulgur caught it and threw them away.

He wasn’t ready to shift to his beast form yet. These two will pass out as they were new to this. They haven’t seen him real before.

Wulgur got to them and held both of them with their shirt and made their feet not touch the ground.
Their legs dangling in the air.

“You’re new hunters isn’t it?” He asked them and they nodded.

“I guess you should be doing your master’s degree in the university but you’re here trying to commit murder. Isn’t that shameful?” He pinned on both of them with a big frown.

“No! I’m trying to take revenge for you killing our family.” One of the boys said and his second nodded.

“Your family? They were part of the hunters right?” He asked them.

“Yes?”

“You should know what your family did isn’t something acceptable and you decide to inherit their wickedness? That’s pretty uninteresting.”

“Why don’t you ki*ll us?”

“Of course! But I won’t. I will only send a message to Fredrick’s successor through you two. To know how impotent that you two are.” With that, his long claws came out of his right hand and scratch the two from their head to their stomach so deeply. The scar won’t clear even in the next ten years.

He dropped them down in their pool of blood while they scream. Then, he noticed he was bleeding from the back too. He even forgot he was hurt too. He turned back and shifted half to his beast form and ran away.

Wulgur got to the Kingdom and stared at the place. Almost a disaster. He shifted to his human form and walked towards the small palace he built whenever he comes to visit.

“Where’s the boy,” He asked immediately he entered the palace.

“He’s been taking care of.” One of the maids answered as soon as he came in.

“Uhm…Your majesty, not now, please. He said he doesn’t want to see anyone now.”

“Why? Did something happen?” Wulgur asked curiously.

“Nothing your highness. It would be better also if you do not see her now. Maybe later.”

“Fine. When will I get to see him? I need to know if he’s okay.”

“Your Majesty, The boy is fine.” The maid assured him, bowed, and walked inside.

“Is he here already?” Lun asked as soon as the maid entered.

“Yes, but I already told him that you won’t be seeing anybody now.” The woman answered with a smile.

“Thank you. I can’t thank you enough.”

Lun was almost naked due to the where the bullet is. Close to the chest. The King might want to check where the wound is and she won’t allow that. She can’t risk this.

The maids who took care of her were really good to her and actually listened to her plead for them not to tell Wulgur her secret. This will be over soon.

“Why are you trying to pretend like a man?”

“It’s a long story. I’m not ready to say it.”

The woman nodded and said, ” You need to dress well right now. I will get some herbs for you to drink.”

Just as the woman was about to step inside, Wulgur rushed in.

“Your majesty, you can’t get in!” The woman shouted but it was too late. He’s already inside and staring at Lun.
