Jaxson pov

The doctors were still attending to Mandy in her ward while I was sitting on the chair, I was restless I can’t afford to lose her if anything happens to her I don’t think I can ever forgive myself

Her mom came to sit beside me and rubbed my shoulders

“I’m sorry all this had to happen to your girlfriend,” she said and I looked at her sharply

Girlfriend?? Wow!

“I’m not-

“Don’t worry I’m sure everything will turn out well,, my daughter is so lucky to have you” her mom said again

“Actually I-

The doctor came out

“Well she’s out of danger,, you can see her now”

“Thanks, doc” her mom said

We all went to her ward,, Mandy was still sleeping

Maya and Annie went to Mandy, I stood behind them with my hand inside my pocket,, Draco and Maya brother were standing with me

I hate what I’m seeing all these bruises on her face is painful to look at

The doctor entered and smiled

“Who’s her boyfriend?” He asked and Mandy’s mom pointed at me

“You’re so lucky she’s beautiful,” the doc said and I felt my ears burn

“Look he’s blushing” her mom shouted

Geez, what’s wrong with this woman!

“Dude when did Mandy turn to your girlfriend?” Draco asked

“I don’t know” I answered

“You seem different,, do you like Mandy?” He asked

“Geez, scram!!!” I shooed him and he laughed

“You better tell her now before it’s too late” Draco said before he left

I went to sit down near Mandy, I looked at her peaceful face and smiled

I know I like her, I feel something for her

“We’ll leave you alone with your girlfriend” her mom smiled and quickly left before I could say anything

“Good night bro,” Draco said before leaving with Maya

I’m not leaving until she wakes up, I held her hands and kissed it

“Mandy wake up soon, I have a lot to tell you,” I said to her

A few minutes, I found myself dozing

“Hey, aren’t you gonna go home?” A nurse asked

“I’m staying till she wakes up,” I said

“Okay then if you need any drink or beverage,, there’s a fridge and a coffee maker over there,” she said as she left

After some time I stood up and went to make some coffee,, I drank more than four cups but I was still feeling sleepy I didn’t know when I fell asleep right beside her

🍇Mandy pov 🍇

I woke up and looked up at the Cillen, this isn’t home, I hate the smell of this place

My head was throbbing badly, I looked and I saw Jaxson by my side, he was sitting and dozing

I looked at his face for a while and I felt like caressing it, he slowly opened his eyes and smiled

“You are awake, how are you feeling?” He asked

“A little bit better but my head is still throbbing bad,” I said as I tried to sit up but he pushed me back gently

“I’ll call the doctor”

He said. He came back with a glass of water and the doctor was following him from behind. Jaxson gently fed me the water and wiped my mouth with a neat napkin.

“So Doc, how’s she,” He asked.

“She’s fine but needs more rest,” the doctor said while checking my pulse. In no time my mom came with Maya, Draco, and peter.

“I brought you fruits”. Maya said.

“Thanks” I smiled,, my mom sat down beside me

“How are you feeling now,” she asked stroking my hair.

“I’m fine,” I said

“So who beat you up like this” Maya asked and peter started coughing. Everyone turned to look at him.

“I’m sorry it’s just that I hate the smells of the hospital, Mandy I’m glad you are fine, “he said

“Hey baby do you know that Jaxson stayed all night and waited for you to wake up,” my mom said and I blushed slightly

“Tell me are you sure there’s nothing between you two?” mom asked

Gosh this woman is gonna ki*ll me

“Jaxson dear,, you can go freshen up I’ll stay here and take care of her till you get back,” mom said to Jaxson, he looked at me

Our eyes met and I quickly looked away, when I looked back he was already gone

My mom peeled the orange for me while I smiled

She’s gonna tease the life outta me!

After Annie fed Mandy, they talked for a while before all of them left Mandy to sleep cause the doctor said she needed more rest

Mandy was now sleeping in her ward, outside the door Peter was standing crossing his arms on his chest as he watched her

“Tsk tsk” he shook his head and moved closer to her,, he sat beside her and took some strands of her hair,, placing them behind her ears

Mandy opened her eyes,, she wanted to scream but he blocked her mouth

“Didn’t I tell you that I’ll send you to this hospital” he whispered and her eyes widen

“It was you??”

“You could have just allowed me to do what I wanted but you were too stubborn”

Mandy wanted to hit him but she felt weak, Peter then brought out injection and looked at her evilly

“Since you were so stubborn and behaving like a saint,, I’m gonna Inject you with this sex drug,, you’ll think of sex every time. Mandy, I’m gonna turn you into a sex freak” he said

Mandy opened her mouth to scream but Peter blocked it, he brought the syringe close to her hand, and just when he was about to inject her

Jaxson entered and looked at him

“So it was you?”

Peter dropped the syringe on the ground and gulped his whole saliva down his throat
