I quickly covered my mouth with my palms as I heard Mr. Singh pleads.

My knees felt weak and I felt like it was a dream.

I grated my teeth in anger…as the elevator door seemed not to open.

Wait, I think I should eavesdrop on Roshni and Mr. Singh, I need to know how stupid my niece can be.

I walked towards the room when I bumped into someone.

‘Sorry Ma’am’ she said and I couldn’t help but smile. What a nice-looking young woman.

‘No problem’ I said before walking back to the room.

‘Sir…’ I said with respect as I met Mr. Singh walking out of the room.

“Durgha…’ He said before walking outta me which made me smile.

He was so handsome and I couldn’t stop wishing he would be mine.

But in the end, Saloni married him and I lost him.

“So tell me…, how was it with Mr. Singh’ I asked still fuming with my smile.

‘It was great…’ she said and my eyes
widened in happiness.

‘Go in details’ I demanded.

‘Well (she sits up), I told him that I was no longer interested in having an affair with him and that it is over..’ She said and like magic, my smiles vanished.

‘You did what…!!!!???’ I asked with burning anger.

‘How stupid can you be…???, do you know the number of dollars you have lost…???, have you no sense of thinking….???’ I said covering her with slaps.

‘I do Durgha… but now I realize that love isn’t paid by betrayal. I love Raghav very much and I’m not going to continue having an affair with his father… I regret my actions and I will make sure I correct my mistakes…!!!!’ She screamed in tears.

Our lips drew closer and closer till…

‘Good morning Aunt Roshni..’ Priyanka said spoiling our show..

‘Morning’ we chorused both avoiding eye contact.

Gosh, it is soo embarrassing.

‘I’ll be heading for school, speedy recovery Aunt Roshni she said walking out, almost immediately.

Just then Pritt came from nowhere pecking him on the cheeks before they sat.

I made my way towards where Kapurr was sitting before Pritt appeared again sitting there.

Pritt shot me a deadly look as she sat and later changed into a smile.

She stood up picking her glass cup and fork.

‘What are you doing…..’ I asked trying to bring her down.

‘Shut up and watch…’ she warned.

‘Attention, attention everyone…I have an announcement to make…’ she screamed on top of her voice.

‘Pritt stop this…’ I muttered but she disobeyed.

‘I want you all to know that Kapurr and I are…..OFFICIALLY ONE…!!!’ she screamed and everyone gasped.

I stood up in anger…

‘Stop this nonsense will you….’ I said but to my utmost surprise, she walked close to me giving me a hard kiss..

My heart almost banged outta my chest as I ran back to my room.

The Singhs are really dirty people..!!!

Mr. Singh has no shame…!!!

I turned around immediately receiving the shock of my life.

‘Where have you been….’ Adil said with clenched fists and red eyes burning in anger…..
