“Ah ” I grunt in pain and fall on the fall. “wow my friend is a good actress” she said. “I am in pain” I shouted.

” keep pretending” she said. ” help” I shouted and stretched my hand, and I started vomiting blood from my mouth. “jesusssss” I thought you are joking” peace Said and ran to my side. ” Am very sorry, please forgive me” she said and help me up.

Peace help codelia out of the house, she help codelia to her truck and drove off to the hospital.

“Emergency! emergency!! emergency!!!” peace shouted and Rushed inside the hospital to get some help.

two nurses follow her out with stretcher and they stretch codelia to a ward. peace wanted to go in with them but they stopped her.

“God please save codelia, I caused it I thought codelia was joking” peace Said pacing to and fro the reception.

The doctor come out of codelia ward few minutes later. “doctor how’s my friend?” peace asked.

“oh she’s your friend, I need to speak to one of her family members” the doctor said.

“Alright let me call her aunt” peace said and dial codelia aunt number. “Hello peace, how are you doing and how’s my baby doing?” her aunt said from the other side of the phone.

“Am fine madam Cassie but codelia isn’t fine at all” peace replied. “what! what happen to her?” madam Cassie asked worriedly.

“I don’t know the nature of her sickness, all I knew is that she vomited blood so I rushed her to the hospital” peace said.

“send me the hospital address I will be right there” madam Cassie said. ” Alright ma” I will send it now” peace replied and end the call.

“Boss the car is ready” Chad right hand guy said. “Alright I will be right there” chad replied putting on his wristwatch.

“my son can I come with you?” the cook asked. “Anna!” Chad called.

“yes” Anna replied with a smile. “what did you take yourself for?” Chad asked. “Am your mother” Anna replied and Chad move closer to her and she move back, he move closer to her again and she moved back till her back meet with the wall.

he move closer to her and grab her neck and she choke. “you’re my slave, stop counting yourself as important person to me, you’re not important in my life the only important person in my life is my sister so get that into your empty skull, and Lastly I don’t wanna see you in my room without reason, consider yourself died if you dare me” Chad said and leave her neck. and his mother coughed out

” Chad, I am your mother you can’t keep treating me like a slave” Anna said. ” Anna you’re my slave I bought you with my money, so get out of my room right this moment” Chad yelled and Anna ran out of his room.

” useless creation” Chad said and dressed his cloth well. he took his gun from his table and insert it in his bag.

” John” he called and his right hand man rushed in. ” boss” he called and Chad throw his bag at him.

he looked at hiself in the mirror, he nod his head in satisfaction and Walked out.

His driver has opened the car door before he get out of the house, the driver is always in standby. he enter the backseat and his driver drove off.

he came down from the car and look around the noisy area. “Are you sure this is the venue?” Chad asked his right hand man, John.

“yes boss” the guy replied and Chad walked in with two of his boys. “Dad, Chad is here” a girl said happily.

“yeah, your chance is now, don’t ruined it please” the man said.

“thanks Dad, I will try all my possible best to win his heart tonight” the lady said. the man walked closer to Chad, with his daughter by his side.

“good evening, Chad” the man greet with a smile and stretch his hand forward for an handshake.

Chad looked at his hand with a smirk plastered on his face. “Evening Mr Cole!” Chad replied firmly and the man drag his hand back.

“thanks for honouring my invitation” the man said and Chad nod his head. “I really appreciate” the man said.

“Mr cole I came here, because I valued the business between you and i, not because I wanna honor your invitation, I don’t have time to pleased people” Chad said and the man smiled at him.

“All the same thanks for coming” Mr Cole said. ” yeah!” Chad replied firmly.

” hi” Mr Cole daughter greet smiling at him. ” Chad meet my daughter Vivian, she’s a very good lady” the man said.

“I am not here to meet your daughter, am here for your birthday” Chad replied. “yeah, I know I just want you to know my darling daughter” Mr Cole said.

” Mr Cole you’re making me to talk too much, don’t get me angry” Chad said and Mr Cole pat his shoulder.

” try to he friendly, life is too short” Mr Cole said and Chad growl warningly.

” f*cking remove your hand from my shoulder” Chad said and Mr Cole removed his hand immediately.

” I am sorry, I will see you later make sure you enjoy yourself” Mr Cole said and signal his daughter to stay.

” Hi handsome” Vivian greet and sat beside him. ” how may I help you!” Chad asked.

” common I just wanna be friends with you” Vivian said. ” I don’t need a friend” Chad replied.

” did you know you’re handsome?” the lady asked and Chad keep mute. ” I can see your beauty, even with the mask on your face, how I wished you can just remove the mask” Vivian said and place her hand on his shoulder.

Chad look at her hand on his shoulder and Look into Vivian eyes and Vivian smiled happily at him. “I think he’s falling for me” Vivian thought.

he collected his bag from his right hand man and brought out his gun.

he commanded his guy to sh00t the Vivian hand and he did. and Vivian grunt in pain. Chad stood up from the chair and walked out of the hall
