Ronald and Micheal exchanged looks.

“Excuse me, If someone is destroying other people peace then it has to be you with your awful cries!” I said sternly.

She looked at me and I saw that her eyes were puffy and cheeks were all red due to all her torture on her face and eyes.

“Ok I won’t disturb you guys anymore” She said and stood up.

I sighed and bent down and scooped her in my arms.

“What the he! Leave me!!” She wriggled.

“Stay still or I will throw you right away.” I said making my way towards door.

“Where are we going?” She asked.

“To the dentist” I said making her sit on the passenger seat.

“No no no!!!” She started shouting.

I quickly sit her side door and jump on the driver seat.

She was about to jump out of car when I locked it from the remote.

I held her wrist and turned her towards me.

“Listen, I am not used to bear all these girlish tantrums.  If you don’t want me to tie your hands then stay still” I said gritting teeth.

She looked at me in horror and sat still .

I ignited the engine.

She started crying heavily.

Now it was annoying me.

“Damn, stop crying woman or else people will think I am forcing you” I said stopping the car.

“Then what are you doing if not forcing me?” She said with hiccups.

“Do you even know the meaning of forcing ?” I asked raising my eyebrow.

“Yeah. To make someone do something deliberately which they don’t want to do!”she said and I controlled my laugh.

“Are you for real Ivy? Do you even know what type of forcing I am talking about?” I asked and she shook her head.

“Let me tell you then” I leaned closer to her.

Her mouth fell opened and she pushed me back.

” You are so bad!”
She shouted.

“Tell me something new” I rolled eyes igniting the engine again.

Her cries were bursting my ears.

I turned music on to avoid her and a melodious tune “GIRLS LIKE YOU BY MAROON” in car.

She kept on listening until that one line and she started singing along loudly.

🎵I need a girl like you yeah yeah

She shouted dragging the ‘yeah’ throwing her hands in the air.

No one could say that she was the same girl who was crying while ago.

I shook my head in disbelief.

Afters a while, I stopped the car and she was damn engrossed in singing and dancing that she didn’t realize that we reached the hospital.

I jumped out og car and opened her side door.

She looked at  me confused and and I pointed at the hospital board.

Her face became pale.

“Come out!!!”
I said sternly.

“No!!”
She shouted.

“And here our Ivy is back!!” I murmured rolling my eyes.

“Come out now or else I will drag you myself and you know I mean it!!” I said seriously.

“No please!!” She flinched back.

“Damn! why are you so dramatic, Ivy? First you weren’t sitting in the car and now you aren’t coming out. Listen, I don’t have the whole day to waste with you so you better come out!!” This time I roared in anger.

Sniffing, she came out of the car and started walking ahead without looking at me.

I locked the car and ran after her.

“Jerk!” I heard her say.

“Mr. Frederick your wife is all okay now. We had done root canal. She will feel pain for sometime but after that she will be fine.” The doctor said and I nodded.

“Where is She?”

“She is coming with the nurse.You can wait outside” The doctor said.

“Okay thank you doctor” I said and went out.

I was messaging someone when a nurse came with Ivy.

She was holding Ivy’s arm.

” Your wife” the nurse said and left Ivy’s arm and she leaned on my shoulder.

“Are you okay now??” I asked looking at her but she didn’t reply.

I raised my eyebrow at nurse.

” the doctor has given her anaesthesia.”

Before I could say anything Ivy’s scream interuppted me bursting my ear drums.

“Yeyyy!!!”

“Why are you  shouting?”I asked annoyingly.

” Look nurse, You must be thinking that my husband is such a Jerk right? but let me tell you…” She said dramatically holding my arm.

“He is such a sweetheart. You know he loves me toooooooo much. Isn’t it baby??” She said smiling idiotically throwing her hands in air trying to tell her the width of love  and I looked at her as if she had grown horns.

“Isn’t it ? Tell her” She pouted jerking my arm.

“Ye.. yeah yeah!! I love you alot!” I smiled forcefully still not believing at my words.

The nurse controlled her smile.

” You know how he proposed me?” She leaned towards the nurse.

“Let me tell you!!” She left my arm and stumbled.

I stepped towards her but she yanked my hand away.

“He decorated a garden with yellow lights. There were beautifullll flowers.  Music!!! Fire works” she said smiling and swirling around.

Unknowingly a smile crept on my lips at her tactics.

“Ivy, Watch out”

She was about to fall but I made her stand still by holding her shoulders.

“Did you see? Did you? How he saved me from falling?? Awwwwn” She said pointing at the nurse gaining her total attention and ended up pinching my cheeks.

I glared at her and pulled my hair in my head.

“You know what he always gives me a forehead kiss before going to bed. Do you know?” She again asked the nurse who shoke her head smiling.
