Ivy

“Michael, Why does Saturdays have to be so boring?” I groaned sitting on the sofa across micheal.

“I don’t know but please stay away from your wild husband today and let me be too.” Micheak said rolling his eyes.

“It not like I used to sit on his lap but still  why?” I said in annoyance while Ronald choked on his water.

“Because he is that damn idiot who don’t enjoy holiday himself and also don’t let other soul rest in peace.” Aaron said coming.

“What do you mean?” I raised my eyebrow.

“He meant if he sees us sitting freely without any work he will just ask us casually to break this front wall and build it again because it’s not good to stay work free according to him.” Michael said making faces while my jaw dropped to the ground.

“I am going to gym” Aaron said standing up.

“Aaah, Aaron you were my last hope and you too are leaving me with these phonobeens alone!” I said dramatically.

“Phonobeens? Seriously? Is there any such word in the dictionary?” Ronald asked unbelievingly.

” Yeah it is in mine own dictionary” I rolled my eyes.

“But not in mine” Ronald said.

” Then from where did you buy such useless dictionary?” i raised my eyebrow at him earning a laughter from Michael.

“Goal of the year” I patted my shoulder proudly while ronald cursed under his breath.

” You can also come if you want!” Aaron smiled at me.

“Me? Won’t there be other men?” I asked shocked.

“Dear sister! We have a gym in our house.” Aaron grinned at me as my jaw was now touching the ground.

“It’s been a month of me staying here. How didn’t I see it?” I said out, shock like a lost puppy.

“It is at the back side.  Come let me show you” He held my hand and we both headed out.

We were near the door of the gym when we heard voices coming from in.

“I guess Frederick is already there” Aaron said.

“He works out too?” I asked with wide eyes.

“Yep! Didn’t you see his biceps !He is a gym freak ” he said and I mouthed an ‘oh’

“I want to see him” I pouted at Ronald.

“I can bet he won’t allow you in.” He said with sadness.

“I have an idea” I grinned.

” What?” He asked.

” Come closer”

I started whispering in his ear as listened to me with strange expressions on his face.

“I told ya it will work indeed…” I was saying when Aaron put his palm on my mouth.

I licked his palm so he will let my mouth go and I succeeded.

He quickly pulled his hand away.

“What the hell Ivy? Do you want me to get corona?” He whispered yell.

“From where did corona come from now?” I asked confused.

” Your salaiva on my hand will get me nothing but corona.” He glared at me.

“So who told you to be this gross? I hate it when someone covers my mouth.” I said casually as if I was a queen of some empire.

“Atleast it was not as much gross as your stunt!!!” He rolled his eyes.

Our bickering continued until we heard some voice from inside.

We both were hiding behind a spare refrigerator kept in the gym at the side.

I raised my head and they saw Frederick applying punches on the punching bag.

He was looking like a hero of some action movie.

He had  gloves which were covering only his knuckles and half hand.

He was wearing a black tank top with black jeans.

Sweat was running down all over his body.

Any girl would be drooling at this sight!

“O my…..!!!” I whispered in my trance while

Damn!

How will he look when he will scoop me up in these strong arms of his?

I was busy in my day dreaming that I didn’t realized that he was not in the view anymore.

FREDRICK

I went to drink water when I heard some low whispers.

I went at the corner and saw Aaron and Ivy sitting behind a refrigerator.

I patted Aaron’s shoulder who looked at me in horror and quickly ran out of the gym leaving Ivy behind.

I patted Ivy’s shoulder just to get a slap on my hand making my jaw dropped.

I patted her  shoulder again with clenched jaw and this time I heard her venomously annoying tone.

“Don’t disturb me Aaron or I swear I will cut this hand off your body.”

It was enough for me.

Surely it was amusing but she was disrespecting me!

I put my hand on her shoulder and turned her around forcefully.

“What the hell….”

Words died on her lips when she saw me standing there.

“Hehehe.. hy Frederick” She laughed nervously at me as if I found her stealing.

“What are you doing here?” I asked ignoring her greeting.

“I..ah..ai.. yeah yeah!! I remember now!! Air. I was getting fresh air. You know summers are too hot. Too hawwwt!!!!”
She said fanning her with her hands exaggerating the last part looking at me.

“Here?” I asked pointing in surroundings.

“Yeah what’s… wrong with here?” She laughed nervously.

“You are gone Ivy “She whispered to herself.

” You are taking fresh air in this gym which is closed from everywhere sitting behind a spare refrigerator and that too in this position.” I first pointed in the surroundings then at refrigerator then at her who was sitting cross legged on the floor.

“If the refrigerator was working then I could say that you must be getting air from its compressor but that must also be hot but here is no way you are getting air now. Speak up now what were you doing?” I said sternly.
