Whole week passed by a blur after that night which Ivy and Frederick spent in eyes.

That morning he went for an operation and now he was staying in London for some bussiness stuff.

Whole week passed but they didnt see each other nor heard from each other.

Fredrick was living with the hate for Nathan he had in his heart while Ivy was still going through the pain of bruises he gave her that night.

To this day her body burns with pain whenever water touches her wounds.

“So today we will learn about the relation of husband and wife and forgiveness.” Mother said as I attended one of her conference.

She invited me to come with her.

It was a conference for only women.

Single and married women.

” You know girls that a relationship between a husband and his wife should be like the relationship of the hand and eye. If the eye cries, the hand should always be there to wipe it’s tears. Just like the husband wipes his wife’s tears and vice versa” mother smiled softly.

“When you are a mother she own the earth. When you are a sister, you hold the pride of your father and brothers. When you are a wife you completes half of your husband and last but not least becoming a daughter you bring blessings. A woman also holds many responsibilities. So today we will talk about the responsibilities of a woman as a wife.” Mother said and all the women nodded while I was looking at her quitely.

“The relationship between a husband andwife is unlike any other. The bond they share cannot be shared like with other relation. wives should be obedient and adaptable to their husbands. Wives should also keep the secrets of their husbands and protect their honor and integrity” mother stopped.

“Why? Why all the responsibilities are for women in every field? Why can’t men be in charge when it comes to being cared and neglected?” I asked shocking everyone.

I wasn’t a feminist but what I experiencethst is what I will say.

“No my dear you are taking it wrong. A woman should be responsible so it goes to the husband. The both have differnent spheres to take care of. God made the husband the leader of the household and is responsible for his family. He is in charge not only regarding providing financial aid, but also emotional and spiritual guidance. we can find support and comfort in each other during times of difficulty. This is how a marriage works. When two of them try, Try to make the other happy by respecting him or her or by treating him or her well, they will definitely have a successful marriage!”

She explained further and the conference ended.

I got lot things to do after this.

I directly headed towards my room and opened my cupboard.

I don’t have much dresses after Frederick burnt all my dress.

Since he doesn’t love skimpy dresses, I will get new clothes that will reveal less of my body.

I have decided to forget about Nathan and also forgive Frederick and look forward to see what our marriage will be like in the future.
