I sat with Keith in the hospital room but we couldn’t say anything to each other

Why?

Because his bodyguards were there staring at us

It’s night already
Why are they still here?

“What are you guys doing here? ” Keith finally said after a long silence

“Chairman told us to keep an eye on you, we are sorry if we are making you uncomfortable ” one of them said and he sighed

I stood up and carried my bag

“I will get going ” I turned to leave but he grab my hand

“Where are you going? ” he asked

“Home ” I grinned and he stood up and took the drip stand

“I want to have some fresh air, leave after i have done that ” he said and I nod

We both walked outside as the bodyguards followed us

He sighed with frustration and glared at them

“You guys can just leave, I’m okay ” he half yelled but they just stood still

“young master, we are sorry ” they said and bowed their heads

“Emerald, hand me my phone ” he said to me and I gave him his phone

He dialed a number

“Dad? ” he said on the phone

“Actually, the bodyguards are disturbing, I want you to fire them all ” he said and nod and before I could look sideways, I saw them running away

He switched off the phone and threw it on the bench we were sitting on

“your workers are afraid of getting fired ” I said

“Of course, that’s why I pretended, I didn’t call anyone ” He said and I smiled

“I love watching the stars at night ” I said looking up at the sky

“Stars? ” he asked as he looked up too

“It’s pretty right? ” I asked but he didn’t say anything

“When I was young, i love looking at the stars together with my dad and mom ” I said as i looked at him

“You are very lucky Keith, my dad doesn’t like me and he is not one of the richest in this country ” I said and he stared back at me

“Who said your dad doesn’t like you? ” he asked and i looked away

“it’s so obvious from his attitude towards me, he once said he wish I was never born ” I said and he scoffed

“Your dad loves you, he is just trying to keep hid the love he has for u ” Keith said

I reached into my bag and brought out a letter Wendy, Reyna and Bryan wrote to him earlier, they want me to give it to him

I stretched it at him but he just stared at it without collecting it

“It’s a letter” I said and he collected it

“What does it says? ” he asked and I looked at him with confusion

“It’s in your hand, why are you still asking me what is inside ” I said

“Because I can’t see what is written there ” he said and I arched my brow

“Ugh? ”

“I will read it later” he folded it and put it in his pocket

I couldn’t help but stare at him

He noticed me and scoffed

“Am I too handsome ” he said and I coughed

“Well…… Maybe ” I said and this time i kept a straight face

I’m feeling so nervous right now

He turned my face to his direction and we stared at each other for what seems like forever
“why are you avoiding eye contact with me?” he asked and I gulped

Are you still asking?

Because your eyes is killing

“I’m…….not a….voiding eye contact ” I blabbed like an idiot

He moved closer to me and started moving his head closer too

Then he placed his lips on mine

My eyes widened with shock and surprise

Did he just kiss me?

I closed my eyes and i couldn’t help but kissed back

This went on like forever

It’s like we were not going to stop

He removed his lips and I opened my eyes

I hurriedly stood up and carried my bag

“I…….have to go home, it’s late” I and ran away

When I got to the hospital gate, I bent and held my chest

What just happened?

My heart kept beating fast

A smile suddenly appeared on my face

I had my first kiss

“I’m sorry, I couldn’t carry out the task because of the position i met the girl you told me to ki*ll ” the spy said and I shot him a glare

“Which position did you meet her? ” I asked as i drank my coffee

“Kissing position ” he said with a smile on his face

“Kiss? Who did she kiss? ” I asked and he placed his hand on his chest

“I saw her and Keith kissing, they were so romantic, it’s good to be in love at their age ” he said and I banged the table

“Have you lost your mind? That was the right time you were supposed to carry out this task ” I yelled and he bowed his head

Suddenly an idea popped into my head

“Wait a minute, why am I going through all these stress when I can ki*ll Keith ” I said with a grin

“What? But he is in love ” the spy said

“Then ki*ll the both of them, they should go to the afterlife together if they are madly in love with each other ” I said with a smile

I should have eliminated him a long time ago

Then i could have achieved what I wanted a long time ago

Kelvin

I walked outside the house and was about to open the car when a guard ran to me

“Young master! ” he yelled panting heavily

“What’s going on? ” I asked and he gave him his phone to hear what was recorded

“Your brother is in trouble ” he said as i listened to the voice

‘why am I going through all these stress when I can ki*ll Keith too’

The voice is so familiar

“Young master, the person that gave me this told me that they are after emerald too ” he said and I threw his phone at him

I hurriedly entered the car and drove out like my hair was on fire

I dialed Keith’s number but he wasn’t picking up

Where the hell are you?

Pick up now

I came back from the bathroom and saw 37 missed call from Kelvin

What’s wrong with him?

I dialed his number and call him back

“Hey ” I said when he picked up

“Where are you? ” he yelled

” I was discharged today so I’m getting ready to come home ” I said

“Stay where you are and don’t leave, where is emerald? ” he asked

“She didn’t come to the hospital today so I don’t know where she is ” I said and he hanged up

What’s wrong with him?

I dressed up and the guards dragged my box outside
I was about to enter the car when I remembered kelvin telling me not to leave

I leaned on the car and was looking around

But then I noticed a red light on my clothes

“Red light??” I asked myself

Gun!
Someone is about to sh00t me

I looked up and saw a man in black, he was also putting on face mask

He was pointing a gun at me

“Keith ” I heard Kelvin’s voice as he ran to me and hug me then I heard the sound of gunshot

“Kelvin ” I called and he knelt on the ground

“Keith ” he said as blood came out of his mouth

I knelt beside him as tears gathered in my eyes and covered the bleeding part on his body with my hand

“Kelvin ” I called again and he held my hand

“Keith, someone is after you ” he said and tears rolled down my cheeks

“Run away, Hide, Take emerald and run away to a place where no one can find you ” he said as tears dripped from his eyes also

“What about you? You are bleeding? ” I asked as i looked around but I couldn’t find all the guards beside me again
“Don’t worry about me, go ” he said, more blood coming out from his mouth

“I can’t leave you like this ” I yelled at him

“Have you seen where a doctor died from a gunshot before ” he teased and laughed at his own jokes

That wasn’t funny to me

He took his hand and placed it on my cheek

“Go ” he said again

“Will you live? ” I asked with tears and he smiled

“I will live because I love you ” he said and wiped my tears with his hand

“Go and look for emerald, you guys are in danger ” he said and I stood up

“You promised you will live ” I said and he nod

I started to run, I stopped at a time and looked back

I saw him lying on the floor in his own pool of blood

He promised to live
