“Do you like him? ” he asked again and I blinked twice

“Well………” he cuts in before I could complete my statement

“Don’t like him, For the first time, Keith fell in love with a girl, you saw them too ” he said and I grinned

“I don’t like him ” I said and faked a smile

“I will take you home ” he said but I stopped him

“No, you don’t have to, it’s your birthday and you have so many friends who will want to hang out with you, I will just take a cab ” I said and carried the bag he bought for me

“I will return the clothes tomorrow, you bought them with a lot of money ”

“you don’t have to, I won’t use it even if you return it ” he said and smiled

“I’m going ” I said and waved at him as I walked outside and took a cab home

“I’m home ” I said and walked to my room without waiting for response

I sat on the bed and sighed as I recalled what Chloe said to me

I really thought I had a friend

My phone started ringing and the caller was Reyna

“Hello? ”
“Emerald, the director called my mom today and they want our group back to the school ” she said on the other side of the phone and I scoffed sadly

“Emerald, are you okay? ” she asked

“of course, thanks for informing me, good night ” I said and hang up

That awful school
What exactly is wrong with them

I was walking up and down in my room with the bandana in my hand

What is wrong with me?

Is she really the one who gave this to me?

“Young master!! ” a maid yelled my name has she ran inside the room

I looked at her and she bowed her head

“young master, your dad request for you ” she said and I arched my brow

Why is Dad suddenly requesting for me

Have i done something wrong

I walked to his room and I saw Kelvin and mom with him

“Keith, did you have a girlfriend? ” he asked

“No, I don’t ” I said and he slapped Kelvin

“Honey! ” mom yelled

“I told you to look after your younger brother, now tell me how come he has a girlfriend ” dad said and showed us the video of when that girl kissed me
That was when I remembered we had so many CCTV cameras in our house

“That’s not Kelvin’s fault ” I said

“Listen up, you are too young to start dating, go to that talent school i registered you ” he yelled at me and I looked at Kelvin

How will I tell him that I’m No more a student in that school

“I’m….. ” Kelvin interrupted

“I’m going to take care of him” Kelvin said and I looked at him again
He gave me a shut up look

“I’m sorry ” I apologized as he sat On the bed typing his Laptop

“I’m okay, go to bed ” he said without looking at me

That’s unlike him, even if he is busy or angry, he would still look at me

“Why did you stop me from telling dad that I’m no more a student in that school? ” I asked

“I got a call from the director of the school, they want you to resume as a student not as a trainee ” he said with his gaze still on his laptop

I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bed

Then my phone vibrated and I unlocked it

‘Let’s meet at this restaurant tomorrow, Chloe ‘

Under the text was the address of the restaurant

I don’t trust that girl yet

I rolled to the other side of the bed when I heard a loud slap at my back

“Get up! ” mom yelled and I opened my eyes

“What is it this time, it’s weekend, I don’t have to go to school ” I said and covered myself with the duvet but she removed it

“Get up now, I got a part time job for you at the restaurant nearby ” she said and I yawned

“Whatever, I’m not interested ” I said and she drag me by my ear

“Let go of me! ”
“you have to be interested in that part time job, I had to beg the owner so many times before she could accept ”
“That’s non of my business ”

after arguing with mom, I gave in at the end

I walked to the restaurant cos it was not far from our house

“Hi” I greeted the owner and she smiled

“You are just like how your mom described you ” she said and I smiled as she handed me a apron

“you will be serving the customers, do a great job so that I can pay you after ” she said and walked away

I was serving the customers and having a good time when the door opened and Chloe entered

Then I saw Keith behind her

Good grief
Are they really dating

Chloe saw me and walked up to me

“What are you doing here? ” she asked but I ignored her

“Two Americano drink ” she said and i scoffed

“You really have to gut to tell me to serve you and your darn boyfriend” I shot her a glare

“what? Are you jealous? ” she asked with a grin and I scoffed

“Jealous my foot ” I said with an angry voice as I took off the apron and walked outside angrily.

Emerald was going home when she was attacked by two thugs who wanted to collect her money

“Who are you guys? ” she asked

“give out all your money and we will let you go ” one said and she sighed

“gosh, today is really not my day ” she said to herself

“You guys should Butt off, I have something else to do ” she said and wanted to leave but they drag her back

“let go of me ” she yelled as they started searching through her bag

Someone threw a can at one of them and it met him on the head

“Who is that? “” they yelled as they all turned to see Keith with his hands in his pocket

“I’m sorry, that was a slip of hand ” he said and moved closer to them

“Hey, isn’t that young master ” one whispered to his friend

” I know right? Let’s just pretend like we don’t know him ” the other one said

“young…… I mean boy, what are you trying to do? ” they asked and he moved closer to emerald

“Don’t touch her ” he said and emerald looked at him with shock

“why shouldn’t we? ” they asked

“Because this lady is……………. My woman”
