Chapter 13

Frederick

“So Mr. Miguel we saw your proposal. It was good but one thing that I am thinking is why are you so passionate to be our partner?” Michael asked raising brow.

“Mr. Micheal who in his right mind won’t want to deal with such Bussinessman like you? Mr. Miguel said smiling.

She doesn’t look like her father a bit.

“But give us any one reason to deal with you?” I said straightening up.

“I .. I won’t give you any chance to complain.” Mr. Miguel said nervously.

“This is what our partners say and they are firm on their words. We have examined them. Tell us something new.” Micheal said elbowing me as i was busy in gazing in a random direction.

“Yeah Yeah” I quickly composed himself but my eyes and mind were still stuck on a photo frame placed at the side.

“What do you want from us then?” Mr. Miguel asked tiredly.

“Who is she?” I asked pointing at the frame.

“She…. She is my daughter! Ivy Miguel.”
Its obvious he doesn’t like her. I mean, you can feel it through his facial expression.

Why didn’t he like his daughter?

“I want her” I said and everyone’s eyes widened.

“Sorry?” Mr. Miguel said exchanging looks with his assistant.

“I want to marry her! If you manage to give her to me then consider this deal done or else forget it! And one thing is sure Mr. Miguel that no one will compel to deal with you if my company cancel it’s deal with you. About the consequences of saying No to Frederick Anderson then you know better!” I said seriously.

” You have 7 hours to give me your answer and that too in yes!” I stood up wiping imaginary dirt from Mr. Miguel and left the room with micheal.

He was probably shocked at my demand.

People in whole lobby were looking at us when I and micheal came out of Mr. Miguel’s office applying our shades on.

We were looking like an epitome of  pure confidence.

Girls were drooling over the sight while men were gawking at us.

“What was that??”
Micheal shouted at me as soon as we jumped into our car.

“What was what?” I shrugged my shoulders.

“About your demand! We could have demand something big from him. Some thing useful!!” He snarled at me.

“Relax. I know what you don’t!” I said as I started driving.

“What does this means ‘ I  know what you don’t ‘ ?” He again shouted but I ignored him and kept on driving.

“Is it true Frederick? Ronald asked him when he got done with micheal’ s dramatic narration of whole situation.

“I want to destroy that Miguel from every side. Whether social or personal!! This man deserves something drastic because of what he had done and still doing.” I said filling my magazine.
