King’s POV

Because of the war that wash off almost all this kingdom.

Leaving only we who were out on an errand that same day and only the little children where left alone.

It was like they came for those in office aside the chief priest who was able to protect himself and some people.

They where the black witches who where baned by my father who was the late king.

Well, a long time ago, black witches where rebelling about not been allowed in the society.

Although that was a thousand and some years back when my father was just appointed as the new king.

As the pure and meek hearted king he is, he forgive them the sin they have once sinned against the territory and they were given that freedom.

But recently, they started their corruption and started killing citizens for their own fun.

Calling it a means of appealing to their gods ( black witches festival.)

At first,my dad thought it was just rumors but he had to pretend like a slave and he withness.

He then pass the law and barnned them like he has done before.

They were annoyed with the law and decided to rebel against their king.

Not a peaceful protest like they have done before,the came with war and took the precious stone.

Knowing fully well that without the stone,the king will end up killing his people with his own hand.

Meaning they want to the king against his people and paint him black before his people.

No one knows about the stone aside the only true witch,the king and his officials.

The true witch was the one who performed some magic to keep the dark part of our family at bey.

And you know, witches don’t lie to themselves at those times before the war.

She told her people about it but told them to keep it a secret.

But as you know, there’s always this one person in everywhere that only look for one’s downfall.

My dad laid his lif down to be murdered for his people’s freedom.

Due to the deal the witches before he was murdered.

But as you know,they didn’t keep to their promise,they killed all his officials and some of his people.

These alone makes implement a new law which says any witches either black of white sighted must be killed without a second thought.

“Where’s my cure?” I Asked with authority laced in my voice and my hand already forming flames of fire.

Even though I tried so hard to control my power and emotions, I couldn’t and that’s why he is looking for a cure to it.

“In the human world your majesty.” said the priest as the bow his head.

” In the what!!!!” I yelled but fire came out and burn on of the slave massaging my leg to death.

“In the human what?” I asked again annoyed with what he just said.
