King’s POV

I didn’t wait until I got to the river where I saw the priest and some of the villagers then my eyes went to her.

She later there with a hole right in her chest just like if a fire should melt an iron creating a hold on it.

Besides her later a witch whose body has turned to ice due to Athisa’s Power.

Falling on my knees, I held her in my arms even though she is so cold and there’s possibility of her freezing me with the way her power is still forming in her hand.

I tried to heat her up but it’s not working, I tried and retried but it’s the same thing.

“Do something!” I yelled at the priest who kept shaking his head.

” Her soul is trapped we can’t do anything.” He said calmly.

“No!” I screamed with fire coming out of my mouth although it didn’t burn anyone cause I still have the control then.

Screaming my lungs out till I was surrounded by fire then I stopped when my throat started hurting.

Just like that, the fire cleared out as I watch her turn to flames of ice then she blew away aside one which stayed in my hands.

That was the minutes I vow to revenge everyone who caused these to my people especially my equal.

And that was when I decided woman wouldn’t be of any value in my kingdom again since she is dead and my father new wife was the one who caused this.

She betrayed the person who she vowed to protect if she didn’t betray them,my equal would be alive.

Had I known that those witches I went to have meeting with only said they are okay because they want me dead in my kingdom.

Not in their own kingdom and also, they don’t want me to give my people the signal to leave for a safer place.

Has it been I know it’s a trap, I wouldn’t have showed up, I would have prepared for war.

Maybe Athisa wouldn’t be dead by now, maybe her soul won’t be trapped by now.

Taking about her soul, there should be something to free her soul.

But how come she is living in the heart while her soul is trapped?

I really need to call the priest back, I thought In within me before calling out for the guard.

“Send in the priest this minute.” I ordered pacing around.

Minutes later.

” You called for me your majesty.” He said making me stop and turn around to look at him.

” You said that day I came back that from those witches kingdom that Athisa soul was trapped right? “I asked and he nodded.

” How can that be possible when you said her soul is trapped and she is still living on earth? “I asked… TBC
