Hayley

He kissed me on the lips. I gasped with my eyes widened.

He sucked on my lower lip before pushing his tongue into my mouth and I allowed him.

Then, I pulled away from him. From the kiss.
“I need to go. I wouldn’t want to fall cheaply for you. I have something to do inside and you can do your worst. Tell them to sack me.” I said before adjusting my apron, and walked inside.

I sighed heavily. “Was this day going to turn bad suddenly?”
Oh! What a stupid question to ask myself.

“Hayley, do you know that man, Tanner?” One of the waiters asked and other immediately joined in.

Bunch of fools. What’s their business?

“Yes, I do. Anything wrong?” I folded my arms together.

“Nothing, just that we saw him kissing you. Are you one of his sluts or what?”
A blond girl asked and I rolled my eyes at her. So stupid to ask that.

“Go ask him. He will definitely give you an answer with a slap. You fool. You wanna know who he is to me?” I replied.

“Yeah, let’s see who the b***h is to our dear Tanner.” Another girl said.

“Well, he’s the father to my child. I’m pregnant for him. Get that? Congratulate me for that. I’m so lucky.” I answered sarcastically and walked away.

“Huh? What!?”

“She’s pregnant for him?”
They murmured among themselves but I cared less.

One thing struck my mind. It seems Tanner doesn’t want anyone to know that a lady is pregnant for him.

Good step at a time, Hayley.

After work, I went home, took my bath amd changed into a loose cloth. A gown.

I drove down the street to my house and came down from the car.
Mary, my maid came out to take my suitcase and coat.

“Is my food ready?” I asked.

“Yes, master.” Shhee answered and I nodded.

Just as I walked into the sitting room, I saw my mom with my brother talking and laughing.

“My son is back.” My mother said when she noticed me.

“Yeah. Brother we are talking about you.” My brother said.

“Huh? What’s that?”

“To get married or should we find you a wife? It’s time to get married.”
