Chapter 92

Alma.

Thank God I didn’t tell Clifford. It’s time to get this done.

With that, I started by looking for who bought the house my dad handed over to that man in exchange for my life.

But unfortunately,I had to look for who this man is first before searching about who owns the house now.

Because he has cleared some information on internet and the only thing that can help me is scanner.

I had to order mine because obviously, Clifford won’t allow me into his study.

Taking our my phone,I ordered a photo copy machine, printer and scanner online.

With the highest rate because I want it to be delivered in the next one hour and it should be home delivery.

I don’t know who might be after and who might have sent Jennifer to me with how strangely she behaved today.

Am not safe outside of this house without any guard following me.

And asking a guard to follow me will surely raise alarms.

Clifford

Driving into Alma parents house, I parked my car then make my way to their door.

Reaching there, I knocked but no one answered. I knock again, the same thing.

Knocking the third time, I turned around to leave when the gate was opened.

The same car I gifted to them a month ago drove into the compound.

Well, I bought a car and a house for them after what happened to Alma happened.

I had to find a way to lift this guilt off me but still, it’s just a little I was able to lift.

Anytime I set my eyes on Alma, it’s always replay in my head.

How lifeless she looks on the hospital bed for a month before she finally open her eyes.

I was scared of losing her that I had to threaten the doctor that if she doesn’t wake up, I will die their hospital for murder.

And make sure no matter what power they use, it wouldn’t be recorded that their hospital exist.

I couldn’t lose her, she is my everything but God, she is so stubborn and annoying.

She thought by keeping those memories she remembers away from me will make me stop looking for what memories they are.

She doesn’t know the doctor has given me some answers and the only thing I have left is to consult her parents.

Because they are the only one that can tell me what really happened aside her.

“Good evening Clifford.” I heard her mom called making me hug her.

But it’s a little bit strange cause it been long I hugged a lady who is of my mom’s age.

“Evening sir am ma’am.” I greeted.

“How is my daughter doing or she followed you? “Her mom asked checking the car.

” Actually, I asked her to stay back and rest while I come.” I lied.

“With the way you are here, I think it would be better if we enter sit down and talk. ”

Her father said and we all entered their home.. TBC
