Chapter 48

Alma.

I had told Jennifer to escort me to the room that Clifford had banned me from rehearsing. He banned me at a time when I was not a member of his band and was trying to build mine. But now that I’m his dancer and all his fans know that, he wouldn’t have stopped me from rehearsing in that room.

“Wait here.” I said to Jennifer and ran out. I wanted to go to the bathroom to quickly shower so I can look neat when recording my uncommon dancing skills. I do hope it blows the internet as expected.

I met Eearl on the way. “Earl!” I paused before him.

“Where to?”He asked.

” I want to clean up so I can record a video, I want to upload it on YouTube.” I explained.

“I watched the video you uploaded around 11:50AM, many people loved it…but what’s special about this new video you are about to sh00t that requires you to freshen up?”

“Well, it’s one of my uncommon dancing skills, I want to show the world that my dancing steps is ordinary.” I answered.

“Oh! Are you going to be on your uniform?” He asked.

“Sure, I’m not here with any other cloth, there is a way I’ll adjust my uniform that would make it look fitting for what I need it for.” I said.

“Hmmm… Tell me why cloth would fit perfectly for the dance, I can get it for you.” He said and I smiled.

“For real? ” I asked heartily.

“Sure, I’ve once seen Clifford watching an asian dancer, she was dressing in a black dancing skit, majority of her face was right, the dark cloth was silky and tight, do you want that?” He asked.

“You think Clifford likes black cloth? and what if he does? I’m not recording the video for him but for our fans.” I said.

He smirked, “Okay, tell me what you want?”

“Erm… Get me that same costume but I need a multicoloured ribbon, something like red and yellow. You can help with a belt of the same color too and a black socks.” I said.

“Okay, you will be in that room right?”He gestured to the room I was coming from.

” Sure…be fast, cause I’m sure Clifford would soon send me for me so we can go home.” I said.

“I’ll handle that, I’ll be snappy too.”Earl said, smiled broadly and walked swiftly away.

I had eased myself and was now back in the room with Jennifer. I explained how Earl promised to help to Jennifer.

” Wow! I love him for being different, he’s not like Clifford and his brothers.” She said.

I was nervous and kept rehearsing that same skill. Few moments later, Earl walked in with the costume.

I examined it and saw that it was the exact kind of costume that I wanted.

“I’ll be outside, you can change and sh00t the video…Clifford said he only gives you fifteen minutes.” Earl said and walked out.
