Chapter 45

Alma.

I scoffed hard on seeing the celebrity Clifford fell off the bed just because he would not allow a poor girl touch him.

He stood from the bed and placed his two hands on his hips, he shot me an angry look and bite his lips gently.

“You are handsome, sir.” I said and scoffed the more.

“Your folly act would never let you last long as my dancer.” He said.

“Have you got another dancer sir? ” I laughed. “I remembered the first time I stepped on your shoe, you maltreated me like a dog, the second time I won your dancing competition, you wanted to shake me but on finding out I was poor, you withdrew your hands. Really?” I asked and laughed. “I can not believe you are only pretending, didn’t know you like me….I’m happy.”

“I should have told the doctor to text you before bringing you here, it was my mistake. I should have known you are a pure psycho.” He said and went to sit on the couch instead.

“Are you going to sleep there over night?” I questioned.

“It’s better than you touching me.” He said.

“Okay, I’ll leave to my room, then.”I said and stood.

” Why?” He asked innocently as if begging me not to stay.

“You can’t sleep on the chair in your room while I sleep on the bed.” I said, watching his expression keenly.

“Why are you sounding as if you are not the one that chased me away from the bed?” He asked.

“I only stretched my hand, I never knew it would scare you.” I lied.

“Scared? I’m not scared, I just don’t want to get infected by you. You poor people eat unpreserved food, you also drink just any water, how can you not have some sort of virus in you. Compare my skin to yours, why did you think many of my fans loved me or are dying to see me? you think it’s because I know how to sing alone?” He asked.

“Our skin texture is slightly different , indeed but it doesn’t imply I have a virus.”

“You have, it is what I believe, who are you to tell me you did not have virus, don’t try to defend yourself.” He said.

I folded my arms and looked into his elegant blue eyes, “Well, last time, you covered me with a duvet even though we were both feeling cold, isn’t that because you like me?”

“No, I did not. Go and sleep, I’ll be fine.” He said and I smiled.

“I’ll sleep on the chair then, you can go ahead and sleep on your bed.” I said and he watched me for a while.

“What trick are you playing this time?” He asked.

“Trick? I’m not playing any trick? I’m innocent.” I said and chuckled. His words and actions were just being funny to me.

“Don’t know what’s funny, though.” He said and went to sleep on the bed while I sat on the chair.

“Come and sleep here.”
