Episode 36

Christabel’s pov

“Like what you see?” His voice was so lush.

Wait! He’s trying to be flirting with me?

I stepped back to face him. “My prince, you shouldn’t be saying that.” I pouted.

“Just kidding. Anyway, you can give that to the principal. And make sure you don’t get lost in the street.” He winked.

“Am I really going to buy the glass?” I creased.

“Hmm hmm, yes………”

“I don’t have money” I cut him off.

“How’s that my business?”

Something struck my mind and I smiled inwardly. I’m going to visit my parents! Yes! At least, I’d get to collect money from them.

“Okay, I will look for money.” I replied and took the paper from his hand and turned to go while he slammed the door hard.

So rude.

I got to the principal’s office and gave h the letter. He glanced at me before giving me back the letter after writing something on it and asked me to go.

“Give the paper to the security guards at the gate.” He’d said before I left his office.

My joy knew no bounds. This is just the opportunity for me to visit my parents.

I gave the paper to the security guard and he let me go out of the school.

“Finally!” I breathed out and boarded a cab home first.

“Hey mom!” I shouted when my mom opened the door. Surprise and shock was written all over her face before dad joined her too.

“What are you doing here?” Mom gasped.

They let me in and sat down on the couch. “Gosh! I missed home. I wish Natasha and Nancy was here”

I told them about what have been happening in school. I and the prince, and the glass window too. But left the prince’s glowing blue eyes and what had happened the other day in the forest, that part, I didn’t say that.

“Now, that he knows that you’re a girl, did he make any move on you?” Mom winked, smiling.

“Mom! What kind of move are you talking about? Forget about that. I need to buy the window glass and I don’t have money”

“I will give you some money. I’m coming.” Dad rushed to his room and came back shortly.

“Thanks.” I smiled and got up from the couch. Then, I walked to the door and opened it. My eyes dilated when I saw the prince resting by his car with his arms folded and smiling slyly at me.

Did he follow me here?
