Christabel’s pov
“I can’t marry you my prince” The girl blurted out.
I gasped, creased my brows and pouted. Why? Why did she say that? Wait! I should be happy she said that. But why will she say she’s not marrying the prince again.
Or I didn’t hear her well? Of course i did.
“Really? What made you change your mind? Cause I know you won’t be telling me this anyhow without a reason.” The prince chuckled.
“Yeah. Well, I have my reasons for that. Since our parents forced us to get betrothed to each other, you don’t love me and I love you.” She said, making me pouted the more.
She loves the prince. So much. Who wouldn’t love the prince Lucien of the kingdom.
“Though I just live you a little. I love someone else.” She added.
Wait she love someone else? Like her lover. Oh! The prince really do good in bringing me here. I get to hear things.
Important ones.
“I don’t understand. Who do love?” The prince asked.
“I love stephen the more. That’s why I can’t marry you. I love him and I’m….I’m…pregnant for him.” She stuttered.
My body stiffened and I blinked my eyes rapidly.
Woaah!! She’s what? Pregnant? Fir another man?
I didn’t know when I smiled. It’s a goid thing she didn’t get married to him yet so she could make the prince feels she’s really pregnant for him.”
My legs dragged itself to the chair beside te bed and sat down on it. Staying at the door.
“You’re pregnant? Hmm…did you tell my father? Or your father?” The prince asked.
“None of them knows about this.” She replied. “I will find a way to tell my father. While you help me talk to your father. I’m going now. Sorry for being rude earlier.” She stated, bowed a little before going out of fhe room.
It took me few seconds to go out of my room. As I stepped out I saw the prince staring at me.
“You heard what she said right?” He asked a dn i replied with a nod.
He smirked. “So, you don’t have to be jealous anymore. The prince is still single. I’m available.” He winked at me.
