“Can you guys keep it down? ” I scolded the guys who were disturbing other students with their noise after I broke the news to them that Oliver is awake.

“Hope we get to see him after school today” Jason said.

“You’d get to see him only on one condition” I said.

“What is the condition?” they all asked at once.

“The condition is simple. All you have to do is to keep quiet till the end of lunchtime” I replied.

“Aye, madam” Landon said, throwing me a mock salute.

The noise died down considerably and I enjoyed my burger and fries in peace.

We finished eating and Jason followed me to the locker room to drop my lunch bag.

I went to the geography class and the lecture was jabberwocky.
I was glad when the final bell was rang.

I took my books back to the locker room and I went to the parking lot to meet Jason who is taking me home in his car.
Aunt kate is still taking care of the guys so she can’t leave them alone in the house.
Jason was already at the parking lot before I got there.

“Hey, how was your class?” Jason asked me as I stepped into the car.

“It was really boring. I wish I don’t have to do some subjects like history and geography” I complained.

“Geography is cool, but I agree with you that history should be banned” Jason said.

“Talking of cool, please don’t play that Stivosky or Strivensy nonsense today” I pleaded.
Jason burst into an uncontrollable laughter.

“It’s Stravinsky. He was an influential Russian-born composer, pianist and conductor”

“Good for him” I muttered.

I can’t imagine using that excuse of a music for choreography.

Jason pressed a button and his car’s stereo came alive.
He was having a difficult time selecting a song I’d like to listen to.

“This is okay. Don’t change it” I said when it got to ‘Man down’ by Rihanna.

“OMG!The song is old!” Jason exclaimed.

“It’s old but gold” I countered.

“I don’t want to argue with you, so I give up” he said.
I smiled and sang along with Rihanna.

🎼 I didn’t mean to end his life
I know it wasn’t right
I can’t even sleep at night
Can’t get it off my mind
I need to get out of sight
‘Fore I end up behind bars🎼

🎼 What started out as a simple altercation
Turned into a real sticky situation
Me just thinking on the time I’m facing
Makes me wanna cry🎼

🎼 ‘Cause I didn’t mean to hurt him
Could’ve been somebody’s son
And I took his heart when
I pulled out that gun
Rum, pum, pum rum, pum, pum, pum rum, pum, pum, rum
Man down🎼

🎼 Oh, mama, mama, mama
I just shot the man down
In a central station
In front of a big ‘ol crowd
Oh, why? Oh, why?
Oh, mama, mama, mama
I just shot the man down
In a central station🎼

“Wow! You have a nice voice” Jason said over the blaring of the loud music.

“Thanks” I said quietly.
I doubt he even heard me.

Jason pulled up in front of the gate and he hoot.
Aunt Kate came out to open the gate for us.

“Thanks for bringing Alexa home” aunt Kate said to Jason when we got to the sitting room.

“It’s my pleasure, ma” he replied courteously.

“Can I see Oliver and Hunter? ” Jason asked.

“Sure. Let me take you to Oliver’s room” I offered.

“Nope. I’d take him. You can go freshen up” aunt Kate said.

“Okay, ma” I replied.
I went upstairs to my room and I discard my outfit into the laundry basket.
I wore a bathrobe and I went to take a shower.

I came out of the bathroom and I stepped into my bedroom.
I wore a white baggy shirt and a black shorts.

I went into Hunter’s room first and I sat beside him on the bed.

“I wish you can hear me. I don’t know if it’s true that people who are unconscious can hear what people say to them, but I hope you can hear this.
I’ve missed you even if we weren’t really close, and I’m ready to change that whenever you wake up.
It’s weird to see your favourite chair at the popular table being occupied.
I have to see your empty seat at the dining room table every day and night and I don’t like it.
I want to watch you eat again.
I’ve missed the way you act at the dining table; as if the food is the most special thing at that moment.
Your football buddies have also missed you.
Won’t you like to play the homecoming match?
By the way, Oliver won’t like it if you don’t wake up soon.
Do you want him to die of survivor’s guilt?

You also have to wake up for aunt Kate and uncle Evan.
They have both been so worried about you even if they don’t like to show how worried they are”

I was holding his left arm as I was talking and for a split second I thought I saw his fingers move, but maybe it was me imagining things.

❤️ OLIVER❤️

I’d not be able to sleep this night as I’ve already overslept in the daytime.

I was bored after Alexa left for school.
I would have surf the net but I haven’t seen my phone since I woke up.
I’d ask aunt Kate about it when she come to my room.

After breakfast, I slept for hours until aunt Kate came to my room to persuade me to have my lunch.

I slept again immediately aftet having my lunch.

“I think he is still sleeping” aunt Kate was telling someone.
My eyes flew open immediately.

“He is awake” I heard Jason’s voice.
I sat up straight away.

“Hey, man”

“How are you feeling?” Jason asked.

“I’m going to be fine” I answered.

Aunt Kate left the room and we talked at length.
I enquired about the guys and before Jason could reply, the door opened and the guys entered.

We discussed and they really made my day.
My boring day has suddenly become interesting.

Aunt Kate made apple pies and Alexa brought it to us.
She sat down on one of the chairs and I couldn’t help but stare at her pulchritudinous form.

I left Hunter’s room and I saw aunt Kate carrying a tray filled with apple pies.
I offered to carry it for her and she said it’s for Oliver and the guys in his room.

I collected the tray from her and I took it to the study.

The guys were all talking about their plans for college when I entered the room.

I dropped the tray on a reading table and I gave them napkins so they could take their pies by themselves.

“Get well soon, bro” the guys said to Oliver as they stood up to leave.

“Thanks guys” he replied.

“How was your day?” I asked Oliver when the guys left.

“It was boring. I slept throughout the day” he said.

“Sorry about that” I said.

“Thanks. How was school?” Oliver asked.

“It would have been fine if I didn’t have to study geography” I replied.

“Sorry dear. I understand your plight” he said.

“I was in Hunter’s room few minutes ago and I think he lifted his fingers though I’m not quite sure” I replied.

“I really hope he’d wake up fast.
I’ve missed his weird sense of humour” he said.

“By the way, I owe you an apology” I said to Oliver.

“For what?” he asked.

“For searching your bookshelf without your permission. I wanted to find clues about where you guys went to” I said.

“I’d forgive you on one condition” Oliver said.

“What is your condition?” I asked.

” You would go on a date with me when I’m back on my feet” Oliver said.

I love the idea of going on a date with him but don’t want to act desperate.

“What? Can’t you think of any other thing?” I asked faintly.

“Nope. It’s either a date or no forgiveness” Oliver said.

I pretended as if I was thinking about it.
I finally spoke after ten minutes.

“Okay. I’ve agreed to your condition” I replied and he flashed me his cutest smile which enhanced his dimples.
God! How can someone be this handsome?

“Stop drooling over me” Oliver smirked and I snapped out of it.
Why did I allow him to catch me drooling?

“Why will I drool over you? It’s not as if you are handsome” I lied.

TBC.

Love you all❤️❤️❤️
