Xander’s Pov
Kierra never ceases to amaze me with her amazing voice,which is why am hundred percent sure she’s gonna win this contest and I couldn’t be more happier,well at least until I found out the prizes for winning, I know it sounds selfish, yeah it is but I just can’t see myself living without her for six months, and obviously that would mean she won’t go to college here,and she’s gonna forget about me overtime and live her life, am so scared of loosing her that I can’t I just can’t support her not this time. My heart was hurting because of the way I treated her today I should have at least been more supportive yet I bluntly refused the idea and instead I threw her out like trash.

“God am so stupid.. I thought reversing the car heading back to her house hoping she wasn’t too angry.
This was really strange kierra never leaves the door open not even if max was around and no he wasn’t neither were here parents since their car wasn’t in the drive way, My heart beat suddenly accelerated as I dashed out of the car heading straight for the door and in a split second Jennifer was walking out smiling like she won a lottery which only made me more suspicious last I check Jennifer and Kierra didn’t get along,My eyes widen at the sight in front of me,i was torn between running after Jennifer or running to help kierra this time I let my heart do the thinking as I ran catching her in time as she slumped to the ground.

“Kierra kierra kierra… I screamed holding her in my arms as she kept muttering things a tear rolling off her cheeks.

“What the hell did you do to her Jennifer.. I thought carrying her up the stairs into her room as I ran back down quickly to grab a bowl of water and a towel.

 

Kierra’s Pov
My eyes feel heavy like they haven’t been open in hours. Blinking them a little before finally opening them up I was met with a distraught xander who kept on squeezing the towel in the water before placing it on my forehead oblivious of the fact that I was awake now. Shutting my eyes back deciding to enjoy this sweet moment I tried to recollect why I was even in this position last I remembered was fighting with Xander about that dumb contest, and then getting inside and Jennifer.

“That b***h… I thought as I fisted my hands in anger.

“Last I checked max told Maya the child wasn’t his and the he also told her Jennifer blamed him for the child and he only helped her because he had a good heart, but now she keeps blabbering that I have a nephew.

“Max wouldn’t lie to me would he. I asked myself as the towel stayed still on my forehead as I moved my hands to touch Xander’s.

“Hey you awake.. He said standing up to meet my eyes.

“Hey hey don’t try to move too much… He added when I tried to stand up.

“I’m fine Xander…i said slowly taking off the towel.

“You had me so worried and Jennifer what was she doing here at the house.

I really can’t keep this to myself anymore,its eating me up I need to talk to someone.

“Remember how Jennifer ran the first time she met max… I asked slowly

“Yeah I remember.

“Well turns out they dated way back and she had a child.. I said as he jumped out if his seat

“What… He asked

“Jennifer has a child but max said the child isn’t his and he just covered up for her but Jennifer says the child is actually his I’m so confused right now.

“I get it now… Xander said smirking

“Get what…

“You see max is a really Good guy he would never expose that the child isn’t his so Jennifer is actually using that to her advantage.

“Huh… I asked suddenly confused.

“Look at it this way I’m pretty sure max only told Maya about the child so she wouldn’t break up with him he also made her promise not to tell you but you guys are so close it slipped out right… He asked.

“Yeah but how did you know.

“It’s pretty simple Jennifer knows if you ask max he’ll say the child is hers so she’s doing this to taunt you..

“I’m not sure Xander she says she snapped expose her Freya hurt max why would she be willing to give that up if the child isn’t for max… I asked as her Xander sighed loudly

“You and I both know Jennifer is extremely cunning there is no explanation for the things she do but I know max and I know for a fact that child isn’t his… Xander said as I suddenly felt better

“Now you need some rest beautiful… He said as I blushed

“What did you call me… I asked wanting to hear him say it again

“I called you beautiful beautiful… He said chuckling covering me with the duvet as I shut my eyes still smiling.

 

I opened up my eyes feeling alot better now after the conversation with Xander AMD of course some sleep. My hunger knee no bounds as my stomach kept on disturbing me for food, trying to get out of bed,i noticed I was being held down firmly, looking to my right I noticed xander’s string body holding me by my waist as he hair fell on his face while he slept, in short he look breathtaking. Pushing the little strands of hair that fell on his face o couldn’t help but stare at his lips the desire to kiss them reaching it’s peak as I leaned in just a little but remembering how we argued I retreated back only to be stopped as he held my hand.

“Why did you stop… He whispered slowly his eyes still closed.

“You’re still angry at me remember.. I said trying to turn back.

“Hmm you’re supposed to be angry not me… He said opening up his eyes

“Yeah yet here we are… I said getting out of bed as he followed me down the stairs.

By the looks of things NY parents would be home any minute and so would max though am pretty sure the reason he hadn’t come home yet is Maya,And when he does he has some serious explanations to do.
Grabbing a bowl of cereal as I sat down comfortably eating them I noticed Xander stayed glued where he stood not moving an inch as we maintained eye contact neither of us ready to blink for a second.

“What’s wrong… I said slowly as he walked towards me

“I’m sorry really sorry about this afternoon… He said as I stared at him. Shocked.

“You’re right you should do this it’s your dream and I won’t stop you… He said taking a sit beside me

“I won’t leave Xander even if I win I promise I’ll find a way someone I’ll find you because I won’t leave I can’t… I said staring at him.

“Promise me kierra.. He said huskily and our faces were inches apart

“I promise… I said simply as he didn’t need anybody confirmation instead he crashed his lips on mine as I placed the bowl on the table getting on top of him on the couch as his hands went to my waists while we kissed passionately.

“Junkies… Max said coming in as I scurried off xander Biting my lower lip.

“You really have to ruin everything for you… I asked frustrated

“You lucky it was me mom and dad were right behind me you my dear would be grounded till infinity… He said as my eyes widen

“You’re… I tried to say as mum walked in.

“Hey pumpkin… Dad said following her in as my eyes went to max.

“You owe me… He muttered before heading up the stairs

“Oh hi Xander… Dad said as Xander smiled

“Would you be staying for dinner… Mum asked as he stood up

“Actually I can’t I have work to do at home but thank you for the offer Mrs Leah..

“Sure thing xander I’ll go make dinner now… She said heading to the kitchen while I followed Xander out.

“Hey don’t do anything stupid like even think of asking max.. Xander warned as my eyes widen

“I wasn’t gonna asked him… I lied

“I know you Kierra yes you were.. He said simply

“Alright I was planning to ask him but I need to

“Yeah then you’ll find out the truth that she was lying I promise you that child isn’t max’s but then you would put yourself in an even bigger mess you would have to tell Max about the deal…. He said simply

“Are you really ready to tell him what we are doing

“I didn’t think of that… I said truthfully

“Yeah my advise is that you accept her deal that way we get justice for max and that way max get to know you can ask him then… He said simply

“That’s makes sense I guess..

“Of course it does.. He said smirking…

“And besides I can finally stop pretending… He said huskily pecking my cheeks while I froze

Stretching lazily in bed as I stared at the clock my eyes widen,jumping straight out of bed and into the bathroom falling on my butt a few times because I was late very very late.

“Took you long enough… Xander said while I arranged my hair placing my backpack and my things together

“Morning.. I said pecking his cheeks as I he looked shocked.

“Let’s go Mr Thompson.. I said smirking.

“Bye mum bye dad maxxxx get your a$$ up and get to school… I screamed shutting the door dancing into the car

“You seem happy.. He asked as I smiled

“Yeah you’re gonna stop pretending today that’s why.. I said simply walking in.

“Oh really now well you better accept that deal then… He said smirking starting the car.

 

“Bye xander…i said jumping out of his car heading straight for Jennifer’s locker.

I need to know what happened that day and fast so Xander can stop pretending and max and Maya can finally be happy.

Stopping in my tracks the moment I saw Kate talking to Xander, trying to act like I wasn’t affected while I dumped a paper in the refuse bin close by as kate walked away sneering as she did leaving only Jennifer and I to talk freely.

“Hey you hope you didn’t get hurt while you fainted yesterday… She said mockingly

“I accept your deal… I said simply

“That’s good but the rules have changed sweetie… She added as I stared at her in shock

“What do you mean Jennifer… I said getting impatient.

“Now in exchange for what really happened you keep your mouth Shut and you help me get xander back… She said as my lips parted in shock.
