Kierra’s Pov
I stared at them silently not knowing how to begin explaining what happened to their son and my brother that made him almost loose his life

Should I go with the obvious answer that it was simply only a mistake by some careless person or do I go with another option which my instincts feel right and say someone purposely wanted to hurt max

Personally I really have no idea why anyone would dared try to harm him I mean it’s so strange

I took a shower for nearly 10 minutes I didn’t encounter any thing strange not even the creaking of the door
I even went as far as to take my sweet tine getting dressed still nothing

And then there was Maya she took her bath and she also left but she invited max and….

“Wait a minute that’s it she invited max he wasn’t suppose to be in the picture that day he wasn’t supposed to be there when the Crime would have taken place but then of course the target would then be…. MAYA

“Mum dad it was simply an accident though I’m really happy he’s alright now…..i said deciding to keep my mouth shut

“I know this is probably stupid and although I was warned not to do it but I think she needs to know that we were looking at this at the wrong way and the answer was right in front of us this whole time if we only cared to look

I hurriedly sent the message to the private number she sent me a few days after we spoke and cleared things between us

I really can’t believe we spent a whole month trying to figure things out when in fact there was nothing to investigate it wasn’t meant for max but Maya though this case isn’t fully solved we still have no idea why someone got hurt in the first place

“He’s awake now Mr Leah… The doctor announced

“Does him remember fully now doc…

“We won’t know for sure until tomorrow

“But we’re gonna give him another sedative he needs all the rest first tomorrow and you do to… He added before walking away as we headed home

 

It’s moving day!!!!!

I danced around the house as I practically threw all my clothes in a bag

Books who cares

Curtains they can be replaced… I thought as I yanked them off

Music on… I said as I turned up the volume cleaning up the house as Das packed the bags in the car

“It’s moving day it’s moving day Good bye Miami Good bye Miami sad to say I won’t miss youuuuu… I sang holding the mop as mum chuckled

Usually when people move they either feel sad cry or take pictures as remembrance but instead I’ll rather burn every memory of the last month because immediately We get back to California I’m gonna pretend like it never ever happened and then I’ll live my life like I’m supposed to happy and problem free

Mum and dad mentioned that we would still take the private jet so getting max would be the last thing we would do before leaving Miami which meant I had all the day to talk to Elsa

“Ugh she’ll manage bye we’ll be in touch .. Now… She said slowly as I nodded in affirmation entering the car our luggage at the back as the door closed dad driving off till the hospital to get max

 

Mum and dad made to settle the bills as we headed for his room seeing the doctor at the door with a not so smiling face

“What’s wrong doc

“This wasn’t expected but it seems like you all would have to wait for more checkups

“What… I screamed out

“So gullible miss Leah I’m kidding you can go right in I’ll just talk to your parents for a while

“Doc you’re meant to save you know… I said slowly

“Arg I’ll miss having the Leah’s around what’s wring with a little fun

“I’ll miss you too doc…i muttered as I hugged him lightly as they walked away

My heart beat increased the moment I steeped out of the car heading to Max’s room this was the moment of truth now we’ll get to find out if he remembers anything or not but now that I was at his door I wasn’t sure if I wanted to find out or not

He screamed her name before fainting but that could mean absolutely anything it could mean his brain registered her face but I really hope it means he remembers her now

Knocking lightly at the door but receiving no response I made to slightly push open the door meeting a dim lighted room with the curtains shut close and his bad enough

“Booooohhhh… Max screamed as I shrieked in fear

 

“You imbecile how dare you… I said as he kept on laughing more

“I’ve been waiting for ages max…

“Me too lil sister now let’s go see Maya Huh

“OMG you remember… I said jumping into his arms

“Of course I do no amnesia could ever erase her from my memory

The excitement was too much to bear so I couldn’t sleep through the whole flight coupled with the fact that max kept on hitting by chair with his legs but I’ll prefer this any day rather than he lies on a bad unconscious

“Mum are we there yet

“Soon baby girl soon… She said as she made my head rest on her shoulders

 

I rubbed my eye lids with my hands still on mums shoulders as the plane defender slowly

“Arriving on arik airway lines California!!!!!!…I heard the PA system Say clearly

“Now we’re there baby girl… she said as the sleep was knocked out of me the doors opening up simultaneously as we both ran out

And like it was on cue we couldn’t help but scream

“We’re back bitches!!!!!!!…We screamed laughing as we held each other looking back at mum and dad to see them smiling giving us a thumbs up

“Ever green high school… I said impatiently to the cab driver as I faced max who seemed even more nervous than I was

“I’m Coming Xander… I thought as I smiled slowly

 

You know that moment when you’ve been waiting for something so long that even when it’s right in front of you it’s like time stopped that’s exactly how I feel right now standing in front if the great ever green high as max stood beside me squeezing my fingers reassuringly

“Since it was Thursday they had Recess by now before lunch which means we has alot of time to do what we wanted but the question right now was who to see first

I missed everything and everyone but I missed him more

We departed on not so good terms and u have absolutely no idea how he would react when he seems me would he be angry or would he hug me like I imagined in my dreams

“Only one way to find out kierra… My subconscious replied as i walked in careful not to attract attention

Using my hood to cover my face as I walked in the hall ways I realised that ever green hasn’t changed in the past month students kept on moving and teachers kept on teaching what could go wrong… I thought as I was dragged into a closet the house ripped off my face

“I knew it was you… Maya said slowly as she hugged me tightly

“I miss you so fricking badly… She added as we hugged slowly

“What the hell are you putting on… I said taking in her outfit

“Argg don’t get me started… She said face palming her self

“You look like.”

“A bad b***h I know right.”

“I was gonna say an undercover detective but bad b***h is okay too.”

“How’s work… I said slowly.”

“It was hard at first but I have them at my fingertips now.”

“Yup which means I’m gonna work extra hard to make those bitches pay.”

“And Kierra I’m so sorry for what I said that night.”

“Ugh you were just angry plus you’re making up for it we’re gonna make them pay right.”

“It’s pretty bad… She said smirking

“Ugh you’ll clean it up after school you know

“Oh and Kierra I might slap you in the near future so

“But seriously they’re extremely stupid… She added as we laughed hard

“Umm Kierra we’ll talk later I need to tell you something but first go I know you’re dying to hug him… She said winking again as I blushed hard.

“Oh Max should be at your usual spot… I replied giving her a taste of her own medicine.”

“What usual spot.”

“Okay I’m leaving now you can act dumb later… I said putting my hood back on as I walked out.

“I’m so sorry for this girly… She said lowly

“Hey everyone the b***h is back… She said loudly removing my hood as all eyes fell on me slowly but I could only make out just one of them

“Xander… I whispered slowly as we stared at each other neither of us daring to break eye contact

“Ooh you can thank me later with pizza… She said only to my hearing as I smiled slowly still staring at him
