Stefan disappeared to put Justin to bed leaving me in the sitting room.

Suddenly, I heard noises outside and stood up to go check.

I nearly giggled as Daniella rambled outside when the security guard refused to let her in. Her belongings were all over and if I didn’t know she was a terrible person, I would feel slightly sorry for her.

“You’re causing a scene.”

I remarked in a calm voice

“You slut! This is my home. You will not push me out! Where is Stefan!”

She screamed at the top of her voice.

“He’s inside putting your baby to sleep.”

“The judge said I can see him anytime and I want to see my child so let me in.”

“You just saw him less than an hour ago. You don’t even care about your son if you did you wouldn’t treat him like an object just to get married to his father.”

“I was thinking about my son. I wanted a better life for him. Do you know how complicated it is to raise a child. Do you think Stefan would be able to do it. You’re the selfish one destroying a home. Do you think Stefan would marry you.”

She scoffed rolling her eyes.

“He wouldn’t which means I’ll keep coming and sooner or later he’ll realise I’m what’s best for him. You’re just a means to pass time away.”

She chuckled clearing having fun. Her words were affecting me badly. She’s right. The only way I can keep her away is if Stefan gets married and I doubt that’s going to happen.

“Leave. Now.”

I demanded and turned away.

“Oh you know I’m right. You know very well I am. See you soon Lina.”

She mocked and I shut the gate before rushing back inside.

“Hey, I was looking for you.”

Stefan said as he trailed down the stairs looking exhausted.

“Yeah, I just remembered I have something important to do. I have to go.”

My hands were trembling as I grabbed my things

“Well, I can drop you off just…”

“It’s fine. I’ll be fine.”

I chuckled to cover up my nervousness.

“Are you okay Lina? Did I do or say something wrong? I thought now that this is all over, we would get to talk or something…”

He looked really tired, pityful even but I couldn’t do this right now. Not after Daniella

“I’ll see you soon Stefan.”

I ignored his statement and literally ran out of his house. Well, not literally but I quickened my pace.

When I got back home, I met Ethan waiting for me at my doorstep. I haven’t heard from him in a week and truth be told I barely had time for anyone or anything except for work. I barely even spoke to Sharon.

“Can we talk?”

He asked the second I made a noise.

“Yeah. Sure.”

I nodded and slowly unlocked the door.

“After you.”

I paved way for him to get inside then closed the door behind us.

The dredged moment. It’s time to finally talk things out. I just hope I don’t loose him as a friend after this is over.
